Met a friend here for lunch to catch up and was blown away by what a cute little gem this was! Soooooo many choices of sandwiches, paninis, soups, salads, there is definitely something for everyone! I had a hard time choosing because there were so many that sounded good! I settled on the Matthew panini which included grilled chicken breast, applwood bacon, cheddar cheese, sweet chili mayo on a ciabatta roll. Good blend of flavors, and such fresh ingredients. It came with chips or field greens with balsamic which is what I chose, and was very happy with, again so fresh and clean. I have always liked Panera, but this felt like the fresher, better version. It was a nicely decorated seating area, with seating options for different group sizes. We came at lunch time on a weekday, however it was Christmas break week, and it was packed! The tables would turn over, but then would be filled up with a new group just as quick. Not sure if this is an always thing, or because of the holiday but it seemed typical. Def a great spot to stop for lunch or breakfast, whether you are nearby, or make a day of it and stroll along the Erie Canal once you finished, you will not be disappointed and I am already planning my next trip back! read more

Delicious, fresh food and drinks made to order. While it was packed at 2 PM on a Saturday, the service was great and we received our items quickly. It can be hard to find a table, but there's enough seating for the fast casual cafe ambiance, imo. It was clean and the staff was working hard to clean the dishes and stock supplies. Don't miss the seasonal drink menu on the left -- I didn't see it until after I ordered. :( When ordering a sandwich/wrap, you can choose mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette or chips + pickle. Kong Mi Sandwich - Americanized spin on a Vietnamese banh mi. The pulled pork was warm and flavorful. It was the best part of the sandwich. I loved the soft ciabatta and crunchy veggies too. Buffalo Wrap - Heavy blue cheese flavor because they used both crumbly and creamy blue cheese. read more

We decided to stop by Scripts Cafe while doing a mini-roadtrip on a sunny day. This place had a wide variety of food, coffee, and other refreshing drinks. This cafe is awesome and I wish I lived closer! Drove 35 min to get here and glad I did! It was disappointing when we first got there because they only serve breakfast until 11 and we showed up shortly after. My daughter is vegetarian so her ability to pick off a lunch menu is usually limited and that is why we go to breakfast spots a lot. They also have huge croissants which are her favorite so she was very excited to get one. I was so grateful the staff agreed to make an exception and still give us breakfast after a little bit of begging and almost tears lol I went with the sausage egg and cheese on the croissant (up charge for croissant) with scrambled eggs (loved they have you the choice of how the egg is cooked as well as type of cheese). Everything was perfectly balanced and one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. We also got drinks and my daughter said the macha was top tier and she is still talking about it days later . We definitely will be back read more

Nice welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Has a little counter to seat about 5 people, many indoor tables to share or break apart as well as outdoor seating. Park on the street as it sits directly on a corner with bright city views. Had the chicken pesto wrap with side salad and so fresh and filling I took half home. Very nice staff to recommend a hot coffee latte with caramel which did not disappoint and tasted like a coffee & hot chocolate mix with mild caramel creaminess to round it out. Met friends here 1x and loved it! Brought the hubby this time and he was impressed. Definitely will be back. The City of Lockport has great unique businesses to check out and it's very walkable city with zero parking cost. read more

This place is a local treasure. Food is consistent and delicious while being reasonably priced. Whether dining in or getting it to go, the food is always on point. The staff is friendly and the establishment is clean and welcoming. I personally love the "Willie Chang" panini. Highly recommend and the wait is never that long. Next time you're thinking about lunch try Scripts Cafe. Next door they have a smoothie cafe as well, that I believe is open during the warmer months. Equally as good and highly recommend. read more

I had a delicious lunch here. It reminded me of Panera, but with a larger menu for food/drinks and homemade tasting food. The ice pumpkin spice chai latte had the perfect amount of pumpkin spice added to it. I chose the you pick two option and loved the Willy Cheng panini with the New England clam chowder, which I would love to order again. It was great having lunch on one of their outdoor tables. They have lots of seating inside as well. The service was also great, I only waited a few minutes for my food and drink to arrive at my table. read more

I've been a long-time customer and have always enjoyed the food at Scripts -- it's consistently delicious. However, I've experienced extremely poor service during my last two visits, both within the past three days. Today was particularly disappointing. I waited 30 minutes for a simple to-go order of two sandwiches. During that time, I watched multiple tables -- who arrived and ordered after me -- receive their food well before I did. After seeing the third table served ahead of me, I finally asked an employee about the delay. I was told that if I had indicated I was dining in, my order would have been prepared in about five minutes -- unlike to-go orders, which are apparently deprioritized. Frankly, that policy is hard to understand, especially when I'd already been waiting half an hour. The employee's response was dismissive, saying it wasn't her problem because the kitchen handles the food. The lack of empathy and accountability was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, a quick suggestion: if a customer is ordering both food and drinks to go, please consider timing the drink preparation closer to when the food is ready. Making the drink immediately and then having the customer wait 30 minutes leads to a poor experience -- the drink is watered down or warm by the time they leave. I don't usually take the time to write messages like this, but the level of service I experienced was unacceptable. I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider reevaluating how to-go orders are handled. Until then, I don't plan on returning. read more

Two words: absolutely incredible! Scripts is a local hotspot in Lockport. If you live local or are just visiting, come here! You won't regret it. My hairdresser highly recommended that I try this place, soooo happy that I did. I had the scripts club and the white mocha coffee. I was impressed by the flavors and freshness of everything. If they were open today, I'd order the same thing again. Sadly, I have to wait until tomorrow. I'll never order another sandhwich from anywhere else. Thanks Scripts!! read more

This is a quaint, small town cafe / bistro that is perfect for a first date, quick cup of coffee, or a crafted coffee style creation. We ordered to go, and got a peppermint mocha, home made cookie, and a "Willie Chang" turkey club wrap. Everything was made to order, and came out in fairly quick fashion. The wrap and cookie were tasty, and the peppermint mocha was a warm treat on a chilly day. While I'm not in Lockport frequently, I would certainly stop in again without hesitation. read more

This cafe has a nice calming but lively environment. The decor is pretty and monochromatic with pops of color here and there. The food is yummy! I came with a friend that suggested Scripts Cafe and I'm already ordering food to go after finishing my meal! I ordered the "pick 2" with a half Bruno Panini and half Muscato Salad. The half size panini is surprisingly small! You get much more salad then you do panini, but it's only $7.50 plus tax. So it's still worth it. I also got a cup of water and ordered a tall Lavender Fields Forever drink. Per the description, it's their signature lemonade with Lavender simple syrup added. I immediately tasted mint. I do not like mint at all. So that was surprising. I asked an employee if they put mint in this drink and they said it's already infused in the lemonade, so yes. I clarified if they put mint in their lemonade and she said yes. So now I know and so do you! The Lavender Fields Forever lemonade was still good, but I couldn't drink the entire thing because of the mint flavor. I tasted more mint than I did Lavender or lemonade. The chips that you can get with your meal instead of mixed greens are good, but I prefer the greens. They're fresh and healthy. The only thing that annoyed me was on my second visit I ordered the Muscato salad again, but asked for extra green onions and extra cilantro. When I got my food, I realized shortly after I started eating my salad that they didn't put any sesame seeds in it (which is supposed to come on and it did last time), but I wasn't bothered too much by it although I was missing the seeds. After we left I was finishing my Yelp review and looked at pics I had already uploaded and realized they didn't add the AVOCADO either. So then I was really annoyed and mad actually. It seems like the chef decided to take 2 ingredients out because I asked for more of 2 ingredients. Either that or the chef forgot. Either way, that's annoying. But def check this place out! It's too yummy to pass up! read more

I was in Lockport on a Saturday. It was a gorgeous day out. There was a town fair of sorts happening too, so plenty of people all around. I came here because of the yelp reviews. You walk in and place your order at the counter. When I was there that process was not well organized. They have sandwich and salads and homemade pop tarts. Plenty more I'm sure. I had one of he salads, I forget which, but it was tasty. Dressing comes on the side which I love. They have a bar you can sit at or else tables, with a few tables outside. I didn't notice if there was wifi or not. I would probably come right back here if in Lockport again. It was really good. Street parking. read more

Great place to stop in for breakfast, or for sandwiches and salads. Stopped in for lunch and we both had sandwiches. I had the wille cheng which was turkey, bacon, onion, cheese, and garlic mayo on lightly toasted bread... omg it was delicious! My fiancé had the Ricky which he said was a better Cuban sandwich than many places that call theirs a Cuban! I had the side of greens which came with a balsamic dressing, pretty good! He had the house made chips, which he enjoyed too. There's a few tables outside, and quite a few tables inside. Didn't have an issue with street parking, plenty of spots open on a Saturday afternoon. Wifi password is located near the register. Would definitely come back here for lunch next time I'm in the area. read more

I have tried this local cafe quite a few times now. Soups. AMAZING. Sandwiches. AMAZING. Needless to say all the food is fantastic and tastes very fresh. They have a wide variety of beverage options and a seasonal bev board. The espresso beverages, as much as I want them to be equally amazing as the food, I just think they fall a bit short for me. Flavor wise I just dont think they pack as much of a punch as I would like. read more

I find it important to boost the local economy, and support your local small businesses as much as possible, but after the last few visits, my coworkers and I can't commit to that anymore. At least not with Scripts. In the beginning, they were a great little bistro, a local alternative to Panera and a great successor to the lost but not forgotten Sweet Sixteen Cafe. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods are always on the menu. However, there is something in the mix that just isn't sitting right. Literally. Every time I have eaten there, I have had to rush in massive stomach pain to the restroom a few hours later. Now, I have only ever ordered the same sandwich. Grilled chicken with provolone and roasted red pepper. It can't be that, I thought. It's got to be either the greens or the chips. Or the dressing. Many times I have switched the combos. But my coworkers have all started having the same issue. And it's from a wide array of their foods. The salad. A wrap. Multiple other sandwiches. I thought I was alone, but there are 5 others in my workplace who have all had the same issue, and the sad denominator is, it's all after we eat at Scripts. read more

I'll be going here more often. The coffee was fantastic (I'm picky) and I tried the peanut butter, nutella and banana sandwich not really knowing what to expect - it was a panini and it was delicious. Tip: the menu doesn't say it, but all the breakfast options are sandwiches. Really yummy sandwiches :) read more

I'd give Scripts a 4.5 star rating if I could. I ordered The Serena but subbed the chicken with turkey and enjoyed it! I also had an iced latte with lavender flavoring and a side of the greens. Everything tasted great, and the inside of the cafe was cute and clean. The latte could have had some more flavor and the cheese could've been melted more on my sandwich. But besides that, I had a good experience! read more

Scripts Cafe came highly recommended to me by a friend who used to work in Lockport. Perhaps my expectations were too high as a result, but I've never quite been satisfied with my experience and meal here. For me, the trouble begins with the ordering process. The menu is huge (which is great, love variety!) and is posted over the counter where customers order. I often feel pressured to order quickly while I'm deciding what to eat, even when there isn't a line behind me. On my first visit this didn't bother me; people have off days, but it's unfortunately become a routine part of my visits to Scripts. That said, I've always been satisfied with my meal. My favorite sandwich is the Willie Cheng, a panini stuffed with turkey, bacon, swiss cheese, sautéed onions and garlic mayo. All sandwiches are served with balsamic-drizzled greens. The coffee, on the other hand, is a different story. I find the plain coffee drinks weak, and heavy-handed pumps of artificially sweet syrups overpower the coffee anytime I've ordered a specialty drink. read more
