Caramel macchiato - A white coffee cup with a plastic lid and a cardboard sleeve is placed on a car dashboard, with a city street visible outside.

The service was great! They were very kind and fast. I stopped by quickly for a coffee but the menu was so tempting! Everything looked so good. It felt very welcoming and there were plenty of customers. Will definitely have to stop by again for the food!

Health Nut Quinoa Bowl

Love their health nut quinoa bowl! Place is always slammed with people and I would definitely recommend trying a seasonal drink too. Their baked goods are hit or miss sometimes.

The food is AMAZING. This is one of the best places I've ever gone to, and I've been there numerous of times. I always get their Matthew sandwich and it's always so yummy! They always have very kind workers too.

Met a friend here for lunch to catch up and was blown away by what a cute little gem this was! Soooooo many choices of sandwiches, paninis, soups, salads, there is definitely something for everyone! I had a hard time choosing because there were so many that sounded good! I settled on the Matthew panini which included grilled chicken breast, applwood bacon, cheddar cheese, sweet chili mayo on a ciabatta roll. Good blend of flavors, and such fresh ingredients. It came with chips or field greens with balsamic which is what I chose, and was very happy with, again so fresh and clean. I have always liked Panera, but this felt like the fresher, better version. It was a nicely decorated seating area, with seating options for different group sizes. We came at lunch time on a weekday, however it was Christmas break week, and it was packed! The tables would turn over, but then would be filled up with a new group just as quick. Not sure if this is an always thing, or because of the holiday but it seemed typical. Def a great spot to stop for lunch or breakfast, whether you are nearby, or make a day of it and stroll along the Erie Canal once you finished, you will not be disappointed and I am already planning my next trip back!

This cafe is awesome and I wish I lived closer! Drove 35 min to get here and glad I did! It was disappointing when we first got there because they only serve breakfast until 11 and we showed up shortly after. My daughter is vegetarian so her ability to pick off a lunch menu is usually limited and that is why we go to breakfast spots a lot. They also have huge croissants which are her favorite so she was very excited to get one. I was so grateful the staff agreed to make an exception and still give us breakfast after a little bit of begging and almost tears lol I went with the sausage egg and cheese on the croissant (up charge for croissant) with scrambled eggs (loved they have you the choice of how the egg is cooked as well as type of cheese). Everything was perfectly balanced and one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. We also got drinks and my daughter said the macha was top tier and she is still talking about it days later . We definitely will be back

Caramel coffee latte, Chicken pesto wrap and side salad

Nice welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Has a little counter to seat about 5 people, many indoor tables to share or break apart as well as outdoor seating. Park on the street as it sits directly on a corner with bright city views. Had the chicken pesto wrap with side salad and so fresh and filling I took half home. Very nice staff to recommend a hot coffee latte with caramel which did not disappoint and tasted like a coffee & hot chocolate mix with mild caramel creaminess to round it out. Met friends here 1x and loved it! Brought the hubby this time and he was impressed. Definitely will be back. The City of Lockport has great unique businesses to check out and it's very walkable city with zero parking cost.

We decided to stop by Scripts Cafe while doing a mini-roadtrip on a sunny day. This place had a wide variety of food, coffee, and other refreshing drinks. The staff were friendly, the food came out quickly, and the place was clean. My BLT was a little crunchy but that might be a personal preference, and my Almond Joy iced coffee was good.

I got the Monica and it comes with chips or a salad! Great food and great service. It's a cute little shop you could do work in while you eat and drink your coffee.

I had a delicious lunch here. It reminded me of Panera, but with a larger menu for food/drinks and homemade tasting food. The ice pumpkin spice chai latte had the perfect amount of pumpkin spice added to it. I chose the you pick two option and loved the Willy Cheng panini with the New England clam chowder, which I would love to order again. It was great having lunch on one of their outdoor tables. They have lots of seating inside as well. The service was also great, I only waited a few minutes for my food and drink to arrive at my table.

Pink Panther - Three blended beverages with whipped cream are on a white table, with two in the background and one pink drink in the foreground.

This is such a nice little spot! The service was quick. You go up to the counter to order and they bring your food to you or call your name. I got the pesto wrap and it was very good. It came with chips and a pickle. I also got the pink panther smoothie which was delicious! I will for sure be coming back.

Found Gypsy Kitchen on Transit Road, I mean to make a habit of going there often from here on out. The coffee is legit. They clearly know what they're doing with espresso. Also grabbed a bite to eat -- food is fresh, not an afterthought. The space is comfortable without being pretentious. Good seating, good light, not loud. I've worked remotely from here, met up with people, and just sat solo -- all work. Free wifi, easy parking, the whole thing. Open Tuesday through Saturday which works fine for me. Staff is friendly every single time, remembers regulars, doesn't rush you out. If you're in Lockport, Niagara Falls, or anywhere in WNY and searching for a local coffee shop that's actually worth it -- this is the answer. Not a chain, not a compromise. Just really good coffee in a spot that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood. One of the better finds in Western New York honestly.

They have loose leaf tea as well as espresso drinks. I really liked the coffee options. We split a sandwich and got the bean side. Very good. Clean individual bathrooms. Plenty of parking and seating. Kind service.

The best way I can describe this restaurant is that it gives you a feeling of community. It was clear to me I was dining with a bunch of regulars since one of the people at the table next to me walked up and grabbed a can of pop from the refrigerator behind the counter, cracked it open and told Diane to add it to her ticket. Another guy at a different table got up and served himself coffee. I noticed someone else walking out from behind the bar when we walked in. I'm not sure what she was doing, but apparently it's understood when you're a regular that you're also family. I had a soup and my friend who was with me had a BLT. We were both extremely happy with our food and service. We grabbed a table near the door when we first walked in because I like to sit on the perimeter my first time visiting a place. I like to take in everything, and this place does not disappoint. Take a look at my photos to see how little I had to pay for good food and quality service. Truth be told, I was out looking at houses before taking a break at Cousin's. If I didn't want to move to Lockport before, I sure as heck want to now! Heck, I may even stop in and ask Diane for a job. The dish washer did not show up for work the day we were there, so she was pulling double duty. I'm not sure if she has someone else cooking or not, so maybe triple duty! Once word gets out about how great and affordable this place is, she'll be needing the help. Or like me, all the new people will feel instantly like family and just pitch in where needed.

There is a wide variety of bagels to pick from, after that you pick your schmear. I went for the cheddar bagel with a hot cherry pimento cream cheese. Wonderful. The bagel is very good with a nice topping of cheddar and the schmear was really, really good. It had little spicy pieces in it, so every bit was a surprise. Sometimes creamy, sometimes with a little kick. I guess we found a great stop for our longer bike rides. Almost forgot: they make a great cappuccino too with a nice and foamy top. Wonderful.

There wasn't much of a bagel selection when I visited (around 730am on a Monday), so unsure if options have been cut back or just lesser on certain days of the week. I opted for the Annabel (2 eggs, pepper jack, spinach, tomato and chipotle mayo) on an everything bagel. It came to just under $10, which I found to be a bit expensive for a sandwich without any meat on it. It did taste good and the bagel was nice & fresh as they always have been when I have visited. I plan to stop back again... Perhaps on the weekend to see if there is more of a bagel selection available.
