Carlos did one job well, but left some damage discovered later (two scratches on the acrylic tub surface). On the second job he totally missed the deadline. Like blew past it like it wasn't there. He took time off, arrived late and left early and refused help to even try meeting the deadline. For two days in a row at the beginning of the job he worked less than eight hours TOTAL for those two days. He washed a rubber duck down the drain and never had anyone come out to check that it washed down. He broke/mis-cut four accent tiles and blamed it on the tile(?). When he grouted the tiles he washed the texture off the walls causing the walls to need retexturing, further delaying the work. When he finished I told him that he would be paid after the drain was checked he lost any pretense of professionalism and started yelling inside the house about getting paid because the work was done in a very threatening manner. His e-mails and phone calls were all personal attacks and name calling. This after me giving him the work he asked me to give him. So disappointing. read more

I had an old cracked under mount sink that I wanted cut out and I had a kohler vessel sink I wanted to install on top of my sink. Several handymen and plumbers gave me bids, but it wasn't until Carlos came and looked at the situation that I knew I had found the right person for the job. Carlos and his team did a fantastic job on a big project at a new construction home. He did my flooring and created an indoor/outdoor living (california room). The tiles are flush from inside to outside so you feel like you're still in the house when on the patio. The tiling was a very large area, 2,500 square feet. He also installed a beautiful modern backsplash, a pop-out fire place mantel with a bench, and another bench against the wall (see pictures). Carlos is very professional, detail-oriented, and works around your needs as it can be tough to live in the house while you're getting flooring installed. He prioritized areas based on what we needed most (e.g., the kitchen), and put a screen up so we could have privacy and eliminate dust while doing the rest of the house.
