He had just bought this house and the bathrooms looked new with nice looking tile. However one of them was leaking into the garage ceiling. Jorge came to take a look and found that whoever had redone the bathrooms had not installed any water proofing under the showers. Jorge was able to redo both bathrooms completely using the tried and true hot asphalt mop and all proper water proofing. It will never leak! He also changed the master shower from one person to two person and routed all the plumbing, valves, and fixtures. Beautiful job. Jorge and crew are absolute professionals. I originally hired Jorge for small tile work at my condo. When I moved to a new house, I hired him to do our kitchen backsplash of travertine and custom mural with accents. His work then and attention to detail was excellent. So when our largest job came to redo the master bathroom, we of course had Jorge and crew at the top of our list. His quote was competitive and we already knew his work ethic. He does was he says and listens very attentively to the needs we outlined, giving his expert advise when he saw the chance, but also making sure he was doing what we wanted and that we were happy, or better,that we would love the outcome. He demo'd our bathroom and proceeded to install our marble steam shower. He went above and beyond because he didn't just replace in kind, he sloped the ceiling to allow the water to run off. He installed the marble on the entire fascia of the shower which was much better than the prior look, and now makes the shower really stand out. He installed two soap niches. Hot moped the shower pan, nice sloping incline to the drain. Jorge is not only good, he takes great pride in his craft and it shows with the finished product. In the same job, he redid the floors in three other bathrooms and our laundry room with a nice wood looking porcelain that we picked. He did such a good job, the people we show it too cannot tell it is porcelain and the wood looks exactly like our hardwood floors in the other part of the house. He even took note to ensure that all the layout was north/south for consistency with the existing hardwood. Jorge and crew were prompt daily, worked hard, and left a clean space everyday they left. The job took about 3 weeks which was more than it should because we had issues getting some materials in time, but they worked around these issues. And, Jorge was very good at coordinating with the plumber and electrician to ensure their work efforts overlapped and the jobs were done in the right sequence.
