I couldn't be happier with my new flooring! Felipe and his assistant did the installation and they were absolutely awesome! They were professional, fast, and their attention to detail was excellent. The floors and stairs turned out beautifully! They were on time And worked very hard to get the job done! They removed the carpet and disposed of it themselves. They worked efficiently, were respectful of my home, and you could tell they really take pride in their work. Everything looks clean, polished, and professionally done. It's not always easy to find contractors who are both fast and do high-quality work, but these guys delivered on both. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for flooring installation. Five stars all the way! Thank you Felipe! read more

Working with Morfin Flooring Installation was an extremely positive experience. Within a few days of contacting MFI, Felipe came to our home with a truck full of options. He was helpful and easy to work with; we especially appreciated his honesty as we needed to figure out the right kind of floor we wanted for our place. The installation was 2 weeks later and happened within 2 days. They were efficient and did a really great job, cleaning up the mess as they went. We love how they look and it's clear it's solid quality. We highly recommend Morfin Flooring Installation! read more

Not only did Felipe do excellent work, but he's a good person too. He called us the day after our installation was complete to say he realized when balancing his books that he accidentally overcharged us $100 for our project. Our project was large and involved, so I would have never known/caught that it was off by such a comparatively small amount. He not only called to let me know, but came back to our home later to return the $100 we had overpaid. This level of honesty is rare for anyone these days, especially among contractors. You're not only hiring top notch professionals with Morfin Flooring, but great and trustworthy ones too. read more

My wife and I are very happy with the work Felipe did in our home. He came in and removed the old tile and installed the new floor in two days. You can tell he takes pride in his work and it shows on our floor. The price for the floor with the removal of the title was affordable. I'd recommend Morfin flooring to all of my family and friends. I really wanted to give Morfin Flooring 5 stars, that's why I put off my review for a year. Felipe is so nice, such a hard worker, and so accommodating. Unfortunately we have issues with our floors that we brought up while Felipe was working on them. We live in a 1800 sq ft 3 story town house with lots of stairs. We choose Morfin based on other reviews with stairs. Immediately after installation our stairs are so squeaky! Almost every other stair squeaks so loudly. Felipe did try to fix some but nailing them down, but the stairs still squeak. One or two squeaky stairs wouldn't be bad, but it's an annoyance when it's constant as anyone is walking up or down any floor. Our second issue we have is in our kitchen. We can no longer have our back patio door blinds open because it heats up the floor and creates large bubble peaks. We told Felipe as soon as we saw them but again I think he just nailed it down so the bubbling happens a few inches over now. We don't think enough space was created to allow the floors to expand and contract. Fortunately we can avoid the issue by keeping the blinds shut, but that kind of sucks. The last issue is very minor and Felipe and I were working to get it fixed, but then I think he just forgot to follow up and come back... And at that point I didn't really want him to just also nail down all the stairs anyways so I left it be... There's a section from the main flooring that transitions to the stairs and there was just a tiny gan that wasn't filled in. Nothing major and just cosmetic. It's just unfortunate that these issues built-up. Again, I feel so conflicted about this review because Felipe is such a nice guy, but I'm reminded every day with each squeak that I should have probably gone with someone else. read more

Got my flooring for my place done with these guys. Gave me an awesome quote, worked with me because of last-minute delays with closing, but he came in with his team and did a wonderful job. They also did my baseboards. Love the choice of flooring. Thanks, guys. read more

We had looked around several flooring business and decided on Felipe. His pricing was great and he said he would be able to complete our 3 story, 2 bedroom, 3 bath home in 4/5 days. He was always punctual and gave us great advice on what type of flooring to use (we have 2 big dogs and 2 cats). We decided to go with laminate on the main floors and vinyl in the bathrooms, all of which he was able to get us the perfect color. I can't being to express what an amazing and fast job he did for us. He was able to remove our carpet and complete the first floor on the first day. He worked around us and made it comfortable for us to still be able to live our lives. We had a lot of big heavy furniture that he and his co-worker were able to move around. In the end he finished in less than the time frame he had given us. They cleaned up after each day and left our place spotless. And did I mention he even fixed one of our closet doors that was hanging on its hinges!!! Felipe is amazing and we're so glad we went with Morfin Flooring. Thank you! read more

Felipe and Morfin Flooring are outstanding! We ran into some issues with a previous contractor and needed our flooring done ASAP. Felipe was quick to respond, provided a very reasonable quote and even managed to squeeze us in at the last minute. He showed up ready to go and did an amazing job. My husband is very detail-oriented and he was absolutely blown away by their work. They were also fast! They completed the entire first-floor install with baseboard in one day. We were previously told it would take more than 3 days by another contractor. I would definitely call Felipe again and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a job well done. read more

My husband and I were looking to have our floors redone. We decided to go with laminate flooring. We purchased all of the materials ourselves, we just needed a professional to install them. The first two quotes we got were outrageous for our 1,040 sq ft home. I turned to Yelp to find another company, and found Morfin Flooring. They had 5 stars with excellent reviews. We called and within 15 minutes we got a return phone call. Within 3 hours, they came to the house to give us a quote. They were able to start 5 days later and quoted it would take 3 days to complete. That worked perfectly for us. Felipe and Vidal came to the house ON TIME and ready to work. As they worked, they were courteous, polite, clean, organized, and professional. They worked 18 hours in 2 days, finishing the job early. They did an outstanding job. The floors look absolutely beautiful. I can not speak highly enough about our experience. read more

This guy is the most unprofessional contractor I have ever come across. I found him on craigslist on the first place and it's purely because of guys like this, that craigslist has lost it's credibility. I would highly recommend staying away from him. I have such lengthy horrible experince with Filipe that I do not even feel like typing it all out right now. With the interest of time I will try to elaborate the entire experience by updating my review but for now please know that this guy is not worth all of his good reviews. QUIT him! read more

I was personally recommended to Felipe by a girlfriend of mine and I am so glad that she did. He was fantastic!! Morfin Flooring was the most competitively priced, Felipe was very communicative, and he took time to answer all of my questions. We had luxury vinyl flooring installed in our 900sqft condo and he had it done in 3 days. Other competitors gave us a 4-5 day period to complete the project. We also received zero complaints from our neighbors about noise or disruption. Felipe was very respectful and accommodating to our HOA noise restrictions. I would 100% recommend him to anyone in the future and I would definitely hire him again. Thanks Felipe! We love our new floors! read more

Felipe does great work. He shows up right on time and does a quality job with speed. He can come up with solutions to difficult situations. Mr. Morfin did my floorings. He was very kind and explained in details what he would do on the floors. Due to schedule issue with my builder, I had to reschedule with him couple times, but he was patient and worked with the difficult schedule. Can't say enough of Felipe. He did a few of our neighbors floor and that's how we heard of him- great reviews from our neighbors. Best price and our floor is still in great shape, 3 years later w 4 kids and 2 large dogs. He also did my in-laws where he discovered wet spot in the corner of her kitchen floor. Felipe didn't want to put new floors on her kitchen w/o her getting it checked out. Come to find the next door's neighbor's upstairs bathroom (they share a wall) has been having small leak for a few years. Water leak were happening behind the wall and nobody suspected anything until Felipe pointed out the wet concrete floor when he took off the previous flooring. Thanks to him it was discovered there were water damage all over the upstairs/downstairs wall, kitchen cabinets and floor! read more

This review is based off of what my mother had experienced with Morfin Flooring. She had reached out to Felipe of Morfin Flooring based on all the good reviews yelp had given the company. She got in contact with them and they decided to schedule us to begin installation on Aug. 19, Monday. The predicted time frame would have finished on Aug. 21, Wednesday. With this in mind, we went ahead and bought the flooring materials for them to pick up for the appointed date. Monday rolls around and she calls Felipe to double check if he is coming in today and to get a written contract in order. Apparently hearing "written contract" did something because Felipe passed the phone over to his daughter who then said "We are too busy to take on anymore work" and to "find another installer" then straight up canceled our appointment with no offer to reschedule or anything. Very unprofessional. read more

Morfin Flooring just removed carpeting from two small bedrooms and resurfaced them with wood laminate planks. They did an excellent job for an unbelievable price. The workers were polite and courteous and left the surrounding areas cleaner than when they started. My invoice indicated that Morphin charged me the price they paid for the wood laminate planks, and itemized the labor. The total cost was the least expensive of any flooring company I had contacted. As they were doing the rooms, I asked if they could also remove the carpeting from the large master bedroom closet and lay down wood laminate (a different flooring company had re-floored my master bedroom with wood laminate, but because the closet opened into the master bath, neither I nor the floorers noticed the carpeted closet). Morfin had purchased just enough flooring for the two rooms (meaning I wasn't paying for extra flooring), but the owner had spotted two boxes of wood laminate leftover from when I had the master bedroom done. He said he'd use them and only charge me for labor, which he offered at a reduced price since they were already at my house. Amazing work for an amazing price. Previously, I had used a different flooring company to re-floor two of my bathrooms and the master bedroom. I had no problem with the quality of the work, but it nagged at me that I had paid more than I should have. My experience with Morfin replaced that nagging feeling with the peace-of-mind you get when quality work is done for you, but for much less than you had expected. NOTE: I contacted Morfin on a Monday. Felipe the owner came out that same day to measure my rooms and discuss wood laminate options. He had to order the particular wood I wanted because it wasn't in stock and it arrived on Wednesday. They started work Thursday morning and were done by 1:30 p.m. Needless to say, I highly recommend Morfin Flooring. read more

Morfin was so quick to respond to my call for help after a general contractor nearly ruined our floor. Morfin came out to look at the mess made out of flooring (by the contractors), and told us how he would fix it (by pulling it all up and starting over). We felt so much better after speaking with him, and he was able to work us in quickly. He also helped us quickly find some pieces that we needed to complete the job. He and his co-worker showed up on time and were able to pull up and redo the flooring without damaging the boards. They had it done in about half a day, and the floor looks and feels amazing now! We couldn't have been any happier with Morfin. He was professional, polite, trustworthy, and great at his craft. He also had very reasonable rates. I'm so lucky that we found him, and I'll gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a flooring expert. read more
