Our one piece bathtub was oeiginal to our 1978 condo. It had been repaired previously and not so well done. It had fiberglass chipping and was the dated almond/cream.color. The amount of R & R required to bring the tub up to date would easily have gone over 1K. I know this because I had managed a apartment complex and had to replace several one pieces. The time for the work to be done would have been a minimum of 3-6 days. We have only 1 full bath in our home, woth 4 of us livinf here. When I found this compnay I was esctatic! The turnaround is 24 hrs. The warranty is lifetime and the end result is better than new. I would recommend to anyone thinking of replacing a one piece unit! The overall experience was excellent. They are simply the worst. Overpriced beyond belief. Upsell at every single opportunity. We got a few quotes and my wife got one from them that was so absurd I had to post. It was double other people. If you don't care about overspending then maybe they are for you. Update: I had never seen the owners reply but we 1000% used a licensed contractor (not some guys outside Home Depot) and it was half the price. The next closest high quote was still 25% less than their pricing. Once again their quote was so overwhelmingly high there was never a need to call to discuss why. read more

I was looking into getting a CleanCut product installed, and this company was listed as a local installer. Contacted this company and spoke to Tyler. Tyler was pleasant and listened to my concerns. My mom is not vaccinated and having a contractor in her home was a concern of mine. I appreciate Tyler being very understanding. He made sure the contractor wore a mask and did not report to work if sick. Thank you! This company has installed numerous CleanCut products, and I wanted someone who knew what they were doing because they literally cut a piece out of your exiting bathtub and there is very little room for error. I felt this company was the most qualified. Installer Joao arrived on time (and had a mask on, by the way) and prior to starting the job, he placed drop cloths on our floor from the bathroom to the front door. He was very respectful of our home. Cutting into fiberglass can kick up quite a bit of dust but he constantly had the vacuum going minimizing the dust. He was very clean! Joao did an amazing job installing the CleanCut product from start to finish! It is absolutely perfect and exactly how we wanted it! We love it! Joao is very knowledgeable, kind and professional. I had initially contacted A Revitalized Bath and Kitchen to resurface my kitchen sink. However, we decided to go with a new sink altogether and have them do the installation. The job would not be an easy task, as my previous sink was tiled-in. Removing it without damaging the existing granite tile counter would be difficult. Greg came out to my home and we discussed all the options. He took measurements and carefully took note of my existing sink. I had not yet purchased a new sink so he researched and made suggestions on what he thought would work in the existing space. The installation was pushed back a day due to a scheduling problem on their part. I found out the morning of, so I had to adjust my schedule to have them come the following day. The removal of the old sink was challenging, but Greg and Erik did an excellent job of removing it with minimal damage to the existing tiles. I was very pleased with the way they took great care to protect my counters. They even built a special rig for the removal. However, a few replacement tiles were still needed and finding a match required a trip to Orange County to pick them up. This resulted in the job being delayed until the next day. The replacement tiles were not a good match. Erik & Greg were very professional about it and insisted that the work be done correctly and look the way I wanted it. Erik found new tiles locally within a few hours and was back on track to finish the job that day. The sink turned out beautifully and you would never know that they replaced any of the tiles surrounding it, as they matched the tiles perfectly. They were on time, professional, and thorough. Had ARBK re-spray my bathtub in an older 1980's condo I have purchased. Fiberglass tub was uncleanable, cracked in a few parts, and ready to be retired. Unfortunately, my budged did not allow for new low tub and full tile surround, so I chose to have the tub re-sprayed with a custom color. Custom job was reasonable, $575 (standard white, almond, cream are much cheaper) Field contractor showed up on time and completed the job quickly. 5 stars! Now it gets interesting - while at their office, spoke to owner (Jim, I think) to get a counter top estimate. He told me I should not bother with Granite or Quartz as my cabinets were from Ikea, and if I did not have solid wood frame cabinets (which I hate), they could not support the weight. This is inaccurate as Ikea will happily sell you granite or quartz and install over their own cabinets. I ended up getting counters from home depot in the end. Very happy with result. -1 star for Jim being very judgemental of my kitchen, which was already installed and paid for, and turned out very well without ARBK's involvement 3 weeks later, some of the spray in my bathtub started to chip, revealing the old fiberglass underneath. This is because they did not remove the fixtures before the respray - simply taped them off. I have no clue why the field contractor would do that!! -1 star ARBK immediately offered to make it right, ordered all new supplies for the custom spray color. They re-sprayed the affected areas (I removed and re-installed all my own fixtures, but their field guy offered to reinstall them on the spot for a cash payment which I thought was fishy of him...). Top quality job this time. 3 months so far - no problems. +1 star = 4 stars total. I will do business with ARBK again, if things go wrong, they stand by their work and make it right. read more

Folks, Many people don't realize that old bathtubs, sinks and countertops can be revitalized to look new again. Call James, the owner, if you're looking to refinish your bathtub, sinks or kitchen countertops. You won't be disappointed!!! We bought a home two years ago that was built in 1972. The original owners retired in this house, and I mean "retired." They didn't invest a penny or any energy into the house to keep it updated. The guest bath had a fiberglass tub and surround that was cracked, chipped, had drilled holes in it and paint spills. When Jim's technician, Miguel, was finished, the tub and surround was BEAUTIFUL! Shiny white and smooth. It looks like a brand new tub off of the showroom floor. Miguel arrived early and went right to work. He was done two hours later and was conscientious about cleaning up after himself. He was helpful and friendly as well as professional. He even called me to apologize for taking some of the paint (from the blue masking tape) off of the wall above the surround -- rather than just leaving it for me to discover later. When I saw the finished work, I was awed...hard to believe that it was transformed into a masterpiece. And the best news of all was the price. Beware of the many other fly-by-night "reglazers" out there. When you call Jim, he'll tell you the difference between the patented heat-bonding polymers he uses versus the competition. Thanks Jim. If you LOVE taking three separate days off work so you can have your tub refinished and the surface bubble, be insulted by the owner of the company and then months later have the tub surface peel and crack and have to either replace or completely sand it down and repair it again, then you've come to the right place. ; ) One of the worst experience I have had with a company of this caliber. I was throrough in asking prior to starting my tub refinish about the quality of the work and was assured I would be over the moon. I had to have the contractor come out three separate days and take off three days of work to be here while my tub was refinished. After each time the surface bubbled (like what happens when you put on too many coats of nail polish before it dries)... Finally I had Tyler the owner come out and look at it. He did not see the issue (umm, ooooook) and told me and I quote "he was losing money on this". WOW! Had no empathy for all the days I had taken off and had to shower elsewhere (the tub also needs to cure for at least 24 hours before you get it wet).... And eventually when I called him again he actually told me "I could do whatever I wanted as payment because I was hurting his business"... So completely unprofessional. So here I am almost a year later, with a tub that is cracking and peeling and I either need to completely replace it or find someone to redo it again. I am amidst the process of filing with the labor board, to have this paid for as ARBAK have decided to not respond to my request to pay for the repair/replacement. Save yourself the time, hassle and money and keep on looking if you are looking to have any of your surfaces repaired. PS I've attached photos for your review. ****As another mention they tell you that whatever they use to recoat the tub makes it so you just need to wipe it down and that residue will not stick to it (like when you take a bath)... We hired them to resurface old tile in our bathroom. I would've given them 1 star based on their first round of work. However, they made it right in the end, and that's big in my book. The first guy who came out was super nice, and took his time doing all the prep work. However, once we left the house (as we were instructed to do) apparently it all went down hill. It looked like crap. The good news is that a manager came out to inspect and agreed that the work was sub-par. We didn't have to argue or try to prove our point - it clearly wasn't up to their company standards and he didn't hesitate to say that they would do it over. They made arrangements to come out and do it again, and the 2nd time the manager came with the technician, and they did a good job. Yes it was a huge hassle (considering people & pets have to be out of the house for a good chunk of time), but I was impressed that they took the time to make things right. read more

I've been using Jim & Art at A Revitalize for almost 4 years now and use them 3-4 times per year on the fiberglass shower enclosures at my rentals. These guys are GREAT and truly professional. I don't even know where to start. Jim starts of by being organized and prompt. Appointments are made and kept. The quality of their work is EXCELLENT! They can take an entirely cracked and stained tub and make it look brand new for less than $300. Or they can just patch a ding or seal a leak for a little more than $100. Either way, the work is quality. JIm always does his best to save me money, doing just what's necessary. We were choosing between a full kitchen remodel or just sprucing up our dated kitchen. The people at Revitalized Kitchen and Bath gave us both options with plenty of flexibility. We decided on just a small remodel and they were just as happy to work with us unlike other bids we received. The guys working on the house were great- polite and hard working. The quality was actually better than I expected. The only reason for four instead of five stars was that it took longer than was quoted and I had to juggle my schedule at the end. I would stay away from Tyler Marsh, owner of A Revitalized Bath and Kithen. In 2014 I hired and paid his company to 'revitalize' the tub in my vacation rental unit. In 2015 the tub was aleady peeling and cracking, in my opinion due to defective product or workmanship. The company agreed to patch, free of charge. in 2016 The tub peeled/cracked again in the same exact spots that has peeled/cracked in 2015. Tyler agreed to fix the problem for a second time free of charge, warning me that this would be the last time, stating that he met his obligation per his warranty. My problem with Tyler is two-fold. a.) Product or application (or both). I can only assume there is a problem with the product he is using or a problem with the way it was applied. Tyler would not admit to either. b.) Tyler's attitude was more offensive to me than afore mentioned (a), which prompts me to write this review on Yelp. Upon meeting Tyler, he presented himself with an overly chipper and upbeat attitude. FAKE. Upon explaining my dilemma with my rental tub, his attitude changed to unprofessional. He talked down to me. * He accused me of 'sleeping in' when I didn't answer my phone at 7:15AM, the day of the appointment. * He suggested my vacation renters of dropping things in the tub like 'a razors' and causing damage. No, that is normal wear and tear of a tub that isn't even used every day of the year. * He suggested my housekeeper of using improper cleaning products or techniques. Tyler acted like he was doing me a favor by fixing his own company's twice, defective work. He acted like he was going above and beyond his obligation and warranty and that I should be grateful. My opinion: It is not going above and beyond when you take care of the minimum. There is no warrenty on your reputation. My suggestions to Tyler, Admit your downfall. Ok. I needed a inch or so shaved off a granite countertop with a sort of hurry-up deal to fit a new fridge into the too-small space. The reviews for these guys were great. Called them and arranged for a guy to come out that afternoon ( a Friday ). The guy on the phone ( Tyler ) jumped through a couple of hoops to get a guy free to come out. Well, it sorta' went ok. the guy just showed up, no warning phone call just at the door with his helper to do the vacuuming. It was pricy ( $425 as agreed ) and the invoice said $450 - Tyler said he was overwhelmed at the office and that he would mail me the correct invoice for the $425 ---that has not happened yet. Anyway, they did a perfect job and cleaned up after themselves. The guy free-handed the cut with an angle-grinder, rounded the edge like the rest of the kitchen and polished it. They got a good tip and were on their way in a little over an hour. I'd use these guys again in a heart beat and I appreciate the scramble to get a last-minute job done on a Friday afternoon. read more

Greg and his crew have tackled several large projects at our house and each time I ask them back they bring the same enthusiasm and professionalism no matter how small the task. About a year ago they remodeled our kitchen and primary bathroom both of which required some structural augmentation. I hired this company to complete a $40,000 remodel of my kitchen. Many aspects of the construction (final product) are high quality. The only issue with the final product is that the cabinets were custom made by a subcontractor; the cabinets are great, but the installation is far from great and now I am having issues with drawers and cabinet doors closing and being in alignment. The reason I give this company a single star is because of lack of communication. I was kept 100% uninformed of the progress, reason for issues, etc. etc. during the job. But, when they wanted money I was called and said, can we pick up the check today. I spent a significant amount of my personal time initiating communication and doing some of the organizing work of the contractor (due to their lack of communication). Twice during this job I communicated poorly (was rude) with the contractor (once right before Christmas when literally no one would tell me if I would have a sink or not even though the job was suppose to have been completed before thanksgiving). I did not care about the length of the job (even though it took 4x what they said it would), but I did care that not one employee could call me with an update. I also broke down and was rude to an employee when months after the job was complete I was left a voice mail saying I owed them more money. The reason I owed them more was an error on their part and I should not have been put in the middle of their issue. If the company could not handle this big of a job, they should not have taken it. The ONLY thing I wanted was communication. I literally would have accepted any reason for any issue and was okay with any length of time. But, I was not okay with the amount of time I had to spend to initiate communication and the fact that I rarely got a response. read more

I screened and got quotes from 3 different contractors and none of them compared to these guys in candid feedback, organization, and duration of construction and price. They started demolition and full construction over 5 days!!!! It was son impressive how well it was executed. They delivered exactly what they said they would. No surprises from their service at all. A Revitalized Bath & Kitchen finished my bathroom today and I couldn't be happier. Before I learned of ARBK I had used another company to strip and refinished my bathtub and sink, but then I found ARBK on-line and asked them to give me a quote on resurfacing the large (8.5') bathroom vanity. Lucky for me they sent out Amanda. She was great and stayed on top of the job the whole way. First, she showed me how to save $500 by just installing new cabinets instead of refacing. The bid was right in my ballpark, so I signed up. Within days, Amanda found a manufacturer of bamboo wood like I wanted. A schedule was set up and every step happened on time. It turned out the granite countertop company I liked was one of ARBK's regular suppliers so Amanda took over that hassle for me. Leo, their carpenter/cabinetmaker, was outstanding. Covered my hall carpeting with tarps each day, was obviously highly skilled at what he had to do, and cleaned up each time he worked here. I paid the balance due on the contract and later the same day Amanda called and said the bookkeeper found a $100 error - to my favor - and they would send me a check! Naturally, we want to do this on a strict budget because who wants to spend excess money on a project they don't plan on enjoying? Not RBK. Lisa returned my email with a call in the fastest turn around when compared to other places. She had us send in photos, and within a day Frank called us with ball park estimates and suggestions. Frank was very knowledgeable and honest. He let us know how realistic and unrealistic our ideas were for our budget. He pointed out tips and legitimate safety concerns of the current layout. We appreciate him taking nearly 45 minutes of his day to walk us through the potential project and let us know the differences in work and price for refacing vs. remodel. Unfortunately, we have a lot to think about and save up now that we have this information, so we cannot take on the kitchen at this time... but when we are able to, we know who we are calling.
