I ordered a double meat, double cheese burger with pickles, mayonnaise, and bacon, and it was phenomenal. The bacon was cooked perfectly--crispy, not greasy at all, mild, and full of flavor. The meat was tender, juicy, and incredibly succulent, with an amazing taste. Every ingredient came together perfectly. The milkshake was completely different from anything I've had before. It was whipped and very fluffy--light, smooth, and nothing like the heavy milkshakes you get at fast-food restaurants. It was delicious and paired perfectly with the burger. After being kicked out of All Star Burger simply for voicing a concern (as mentioned in my previous reviews), please read my review, it will blow your mind, this experience was incredibly refreshing. Hatfield Hamburgers is far beyond what All Star would ever dream of being, both in food quality and overall customer experience. If you're in Lakeway and want an exceptional burger and a truly unique milkshake, this is the place. I will definitely be back. Hatfield Burgets has drive in which is a plus.

My first serious issue happened about three years ago during what was supposed to be a normal visit for my favorite burger and fries. At that time, the food was always great, but that day there were several teenagers running around without any supervision. One of them went through my purse and took two of my credit cards, which they later used. It was an extremely upsetting experience that I never forgot. The second bad experience happened more recently. There were several small children running around the restaurant, throwing things, and one even ran over my foot. I kindly asked the woman who appeared to be their guardian to please keep them under control, as they were screaming and causing chaos throughout the dining area. Instead of addressing the issue, the manager approached me and said he didn't like the way I complained, explaining that his own kids "act the same way." Shortly afterward, another staff member told me to leave and not to come back. Her approach was very rude and unprofessional. At that point, I had already decided I would not be returning, but the way I was treated confirmed that decision. Because of these repeated issues with unsupervised behavior and poor management, I no longer feel comfortable dining here. It's unfortunate because this restaurant used to be one of my favorites, and I truly hope the owners take these concerns seriously and restore the quality and atmosphere it once had.

They also offer outdoor seating with umbrellas, and it's dog-friendly, which I absolutely love. It's the kind of place you can see yourself lingering for a while. I ordered the Tide Shot Chai Latte and the Margherita Pizza. Unfortunately, my first chai latte had dish soap residue in it. They explained they had just washed the dishes and sincerely apologized. To their credit, they immediately made me a fresh one. I had only taken a small sip of the first drink, so I appreciated how quickly they corrected the mistake. Now, let's talk about the pizza -- outstanding. The crust was very thin and perfectly done, the cheese was wonderful, and the balance of flavors was just right. It was a very well-executed Margherita and surprisingly filling even though it looks light and simple. Truly a perfect pizza in my opinion. For today, I'm giving four stars because of the drink mishap, but I will absolutely return. Next time I plan to try more items from the menu. As my manger said when I worked at a restaurant in my younger years, "If there's time to lean, there's time to clean". Especially in a premium location with a beautiful patio and thoughtfully designed ambiance. Let's make it tidy and welcoming, shall we? The food deserves better representation than the front-of-house is giving it. The owners have created something special. Now the staff needs to rise to that standard PRONTO. Pizza Hut would have been less than 1/2.
