    Eggs Benedict

This place is THE spot for brunch. The restaurant itself is beautiful and so fun - but I love the outside playground for the kids. 10/10 recommend the eggs Benedict. Staff was extremely welcoming and service was quick!

I had the pleasure of revisiting That's My Jam today, and wow... this place is quickly becoming everyone's favorite brunch spot. Every time I go, it seems busier than the last visit -- which tells you all you need to know about how good the food is. First things first: they close at 3:00 PM, so this is definitely a morning/brunch kind of place. In other words, don't sleep in too late or you'll miss the jam. Today I ordered the prime rib with two over-easy eggs and hash browns, and let me tell you... the seasoning was absolutely perfect. Not too salty, not too peppery -- just right. Whoever is in the kitchen clearly understands the art of prime rib. They even garnish the plate with a little edible flower, which made me feel slightly fancy for a moment before I dove straight into the food. And the French toast? I'm not exaggerating when I say it may be the best French toast I've had in Texas. I almost ordered another plate just to make sure... purely for research purposes, of course. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff greeted everyone warmly and kept things moving with a smile. Great food, friendly people, and a fun brunch atmosphere. If you haven't tried That's My Jam yet, do yourself a favor and go -- just remember to get there before 3:00... because apparently half the city has already figured this place out.

Food was very good. The crepes with berries looked beautiful. I was offered a bit and indeed it was delicious. I had a typical. The typical breakfast included choice of meats and French Toast. While it was quite good, the crepes were super. The place was nice with plenty of parking. Staff were very attentive. I recommend it.

Corned beef hash breakfast. Corn beef is amazing. Chose tomatoes and arugula salad as a side.

So we tried to give this restaurant a chance at lunch. And we were not disappointed. I had a Reuben that came out fresh and hot with french fries. They put the thousand island dressing on the side which allowed me to adjust the amount perfectly. My Wife ordered the turkey wrap with a pesto mayo which came out excellent with a side of fruit and it was just the right portion. The restaurant is very large , can serve large parties, but parking can be challenging so just have patience. You will find a spot. We had great service as well by Ambar, so the dining experience today was excellent. So if you're looking for a new place to try in BK, give this place to try.

I have long been awaiting the opening of That's My Jam here in Bee Cave. This area desperately needed a delicious, upscale brunch restaurant and now we have it!! The food was incredible, the servers were kind and attentive (and it was only their first day!) and the restaurant is just beautiful. This will be a regular place for me and probably many others here in bee cave and surrounding areas. Update: I've had the pleasure of dining here several times now since my initial visit/review and each visit has somehow been better than the last! I've come for breakfast several times, today I finally tried their lunch menu and it exceeded expectations.

One of the better breakfast spots in the area. They were pretty busy the day I visited but they have full service at the bar and I'm quite comfortable sitting up at a counter to eat. It's in a big shopping area. There is parking but it can be a bit challenging. The interior is very appealing and not too loud. I was greeted right away and for my first visit, I opted to try the Southern Combo; eggs, biscuit and gravy, sausage, bacon and hash browns. I also ordered a side of sourdough toast. I didn't have to wait very long and they certainly get five stars for presentation. I ordered my eggs over easy and they certainly were, but a tad bit undercooked for my preference. The sausage came as patties and really tasted like something store bought. A bit dry and not much flavor to them. The bacon was absolutely delicious and the hashbrowns were good. They said the toast was sourdough, but it tastes just like white toast. It definitely is not sourdough, but it was good bread. It was a good meal and everything tasted fresh and warm. I would like to come back and try some of their other dishes.

From the moment we walked into That's My Jam, we were completely impressed. The environment is gorgeous, warm, and inviting...a perfect balance of style and comfort. The decor is stunning, filled with music themed artwork (including an awesome Willie Nelson piece!) that adds such a cool, creative vibe. The space itself is large with plenty of seating, and we loved that there's even an outdoor play area for children making it such a kid-friendly spot for families. The bar area is beautiful, and the staff looked sharp in their "That's My Jam" shirts. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which really added to the wonderful atmosphere. The menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, including many gluten-free choices, something that's so hard to find at other local restaurants. Our server Sydney was absolutely fantastic, super friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive, especially since we had food allergies to gluten. She made sure everything came out perfectly and with care. We ordered the gluten-free cinnamon roll pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The pancakes were especially impressive and were soft, sweet, and you'd never guess they were gluten-free. And the coffee? Surprisingly excellent! Fresh, rich, and smooth! Overall, That's My Jam hits all the right notes, great food, thoughtful menu, friendly service, and a beautiful, relaxed environment. This has quickly become one of our new favorite spots for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend!!!!!

We stopped in for Brunch! The service was extremely friendly and I was shocked on how big the place was on the inside. Looks like there is a playground also! The food was very good! I ordered the corned beef hash with hash browns and pancakes. The Hash was not salty which I enjoyed and the hash browns were not greasy. Pancakes were the perfect size. They do offer powdered sugar on the pancakes but we opted to not have that. The hubby ordered a breakfast burrito without eggs and chorizo. He said the burrito had a nice kick to it. We definitely will be returning and I look forward to trying their omelette next.

Visited That's My Jam for breakfast today with my wife. The restaurant was beautiful. We sat at a table in the bar area. We order a vegetable omelet with hash-browns and Avocado toast. Our meals were really good. A lot of food came for the price. We would go back again.

    Lemon blueberry pancakes

The lemon pancakes are to die for!! Rylee was an amazing server. She helped answer all our questions and communicated well to ensure our experience was great. She was one of the best servers we've ever had. Highly recommended this place to anyone in the area!

Good food - except the server misheard our order, and charged us for the replacement. (Details: We had to wait a while for the replacement, during which time our 3 year old ate her original plate. She did not touch the replacement plate of food but the time it arrived) Super not cool :/ (server was nice but the manager said no. bad policy.) Good playground (except there's a panel missing, seems like dangerous fall)

One more brunch place in Lakeway which is great as we are lack of that ! The food is yummy. I ordered one of my favorite - Chicken Fried Steak . The place is so beautifully decorated for Christmas and love all the guitars and pics of Willie Nelson . Our waiter was also very nice and accommodating!

Found this place purely by accident. It's a new establishment and I'm so glad we found it. The food is good and the portions are decent. Service is great!

Move over Fresa's!! There's a new chick in town!…read more Not only are the ingredients fresh, you can taste the quality! We were shopping in Bee Cave and got hungry, so I went to Yelp to discover this cute little place. I did learn that they are mainly a "take away" model hence the play on words "picnic" on their name. But there are a few tables and bar counter that you can dine in. We ordered a bit of food- 1. Half roasted chicken 2. Hot wings 3. Roasted Beets 4. Kale side salad 5. Fun selection of NE brand beers! Yes they have wine and unique beer selection there! The roasted chicken was definitely brined- it was super juicy and the chimichurri and salsa complimented it wonderfully. It was explained to me the chicken were free range and how they are raised humanely, reminded me of an episode in a tv series- Portlandia that made me chuckle. The hot wings... Buffalo style but not like at Anchor Bar.. still amazing in its own right. Fresh (I mean there were zero dry spots on carrots and celery and it was crunchy fresh that even me, the non-celery lover- ate 4 sticks with their tasty homemade ranch sauce. (I think it was the ranch dressing bc I literally licked the bowl clean) The roasted beets were served cold with feta cheese crumbles, mint and pistachios. I could eat that by itself as a meal! Yummy! Now, I usually hate kale. Only like it roasted. But I can eat Chicknic's Kale side salad all day long. It contains roasted cauliflower, pickled red onion and a mountain of pumpkin and sunflower seeds! (Maybe that's why I like it so much??) All washed down with a brown ale beer you find in the NE. While we were dining, several people came by to pick up their to go orders and there is a fun freezer where they sell delicious take aways like chicken soup and their famous chicken pot pie, chicken crepes, chicken enchiladas... oh did I mention this is a great place if you're on a keto diet or gluten free restriction?!?? I also found if you follow their Facebook page, you can see new menu items or transparency of how they run their business. What you waiting for? Give this place a try and support local!

The food itself was spot on--delicious and exactly what you'd expect from a good steakhouse. However, I need to be honest about my first experience. The League Tavern is a gastropub…read more "Gastropub". That word is so 2010's. A decade ago calling yourself a "gastropub" was the coolest thing in the hospitality industry. Now, it is a lost artifact of another decade, along with Swedish House Mafia and Britney Spears. The League calls itself a retro reminder of the eating clubs of the 1920's and 1930's. It is pretty damm good as a gastropub. It would not really want to be an eating club of the Prohibition era. Menus in that era could be pretty awful. Mashed parsnips. Liver and onions. Greens that have been cooked to death. Tough steaks. Low quality lager beer. The Indian Puddings were all right. The fish was great if it was fresh. I wish they would bring back Welsh Rarebit. But the League sticks to a contemporary menu ... And I am glad they do. Their contemporary dishes are just great. I had a faro salad with grilled shrimp on top. The faro salad was everything I would want a grain salad to be. (I have had some awful tabboulehs and quinoa salads in my time.) The shrimp were completely lovely. Prices are high - but that is what comes with being a gastropub. The concept is: Pay more. Eat higher quality. The Lakeway market will certainly support the League in the prices it wants to charge. The selection on the menu - and for that matter the selection at the bar - is fairly restricted. Having a small menu is not a necessary correlate of being a gastropub. Some gastropubs offer you an expansive range of choices. But careful management of the menu choices means that each and every dish can be polished to a high degree of execution finesse. Practice makes perfect. My guess is that the League envisions itself as a neighborhood place - albeit a rich neighborhood place. Their customers are likely to be regulars. The regulars order their favorite dishes over and over. I myself like my bars and grills to be Cheaper, Funkier and With bigger selections on the menu and at the bar itself. So the League is not exactly my style. But what they do, they do well. They are expanding, opening more branches in more locations. They can do this because the League fills a real need in the Lakeway-Bee Cave market. If a Lakeway resident were to invite me to be their guest at the League Tavern, I would be happy to accept that invitation. Especially if they were picking up the check.

The macaroni is actually big shells, and I love that cause the cheese gets inside of the shell and it's cheesy gooey. Cheese was fantastic. Really enjoyed the Mac. Brussels sprouts I feel were just steamed. They didn't have that chard crispy outside. Just plan steamed sprouts. My small meal was delicious. Hoping to actually eat inside and have a cocktail.
