Truthfully, I avoided this place for a long time because it seemed overcrowded and figured it would be like most of the breakfast places in Lakeway, which are genuinely terrible but pleasantly surprised the restaurant was crowded but roomie. The service was pretty good considering how packed the place was and are two entrées, which were the safest possible that's chicken and waffles and a patty melt were very good. Whenever trying a new restaurant that's about as ambitious as I get. I'll come back and give some of the other food to try so for now they get five stars. read more

Awesome. We have been going there every other Friday on my husband's day off since they opened. I've never been anywhere that 100% of the time cooked my fried eggs over medium to perfection.! They have the best bacon anywhere! I really miss the STRAWBERRY MARMALADE that came with every breakfast. They no longer have it and if you just can't stand the toast with almost no butter you unfortunately have to resort to one of the high fructose corn syrup flavors on the table. read more

Our server was exemplary, providing attentive and seamless service throughout the meal. However, the kitchen stumbled slightly on a fundamental execution. A proper Eggs Benedict relies on a perfectly poached egg, where a gentle slice yields a rich, velvety yolk that cascades over the ham and English muffin. Regrettably, one of my eggs crossed the line into hard-boiled territory, robbing the dish of that essential luxury. That single execution error aside, the meal was otherwise delightful. I had the pleasure of revisiting That's My Jam today, and wow... this place is quickly becoming everyone's favorite brunch spot. Every time I go, it seems busier than the last visit -- which tells you all you need to know about how good the food is. First things first: they close at 3:00 PM, so this is definitely a morning/brunch kind of place. In other words, don't sleep in too late or you'll miss the jam. Today I ordered the prime rib with two over-easy eggs and hash browns, and let me tell you... the seasoning was absolutely perfect. Not too salty, not too peppery -- just right. Whoever is in the kitchen clearly understands the art of prime rib. They even garnish the plate with a little edible flower, which made me feel slightly fancy for a moment before I dove straight into the food. And the French toast? I'm not exaggerating when I say it may be the best French toast I've had in Texas. I almost ordered another plate just to make sure... purely for research purposes, of course. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff greeted everyone warmly and kept things moving with a smile. Great food, friendly people, and a fun brunch atmosphere. Just started going here for breakfast a couple months ago. It's wonderful every time. Food, service, ambiance are all there. But we just went to a Friday Night Concert last night and were blown away! First, their dinner menu was great, service was top notch as usual. And the performance by Robert Wagner was amazing. One of the better breakfast spots in the area. They were pretty busy the day I visited but they have full service at the bar and I'm quite comfortable sitting up at a counter to eat. It's in a big shopping area. There is parking but it can be a bit challenging. The interior is very appealing and not too loud. I was greeted right away and for my first visit, I opted to try the Southern Combo; eggs, biscuit and gravy, sausage, bacon and hash browns. I also ordered a side of sourdough toast. I didn't have to wait very long and they certainly get five stars for presentation. I ordered my eggs over easy and they certainly were, but a tad bit undercooked for my preference. The sausage came as patties and really tasted like something store bought. A bit dry and not much flavor to them. The bacon was absolutely delicious and the hashbrowns were good. They said the toast was sourdough, but it tastes just like white toast. It definitely is not sourdough, but it was good bread. It was a good meal and everything tasted fresh and warm. The menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, including many gluten-free choices, something that's so hard to find at other local restaurants. Our server Sydney was absolutely fantastic, super friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive, especially since we had food allergies to gluten. She made sure everything came out perfectly and with care. We ordered the gluten-free cinnamon roll pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We stopped in for Brunch! The service was extremely friendly and I was shocked on how big the place was on the inside. Looks like there is a playground also! The food was very good! I ordered the corned beef hash with hash browns and pancakes. The Hash was not salty which I enjoyed and the hash browns were not greasy. Pancakes were the perfect size. They do offer powdered sugar on the pancakes but we opted to not have that. The hubby ordered a breakfast burrito without eggs and chorizo. He said the burrito had a nice kick to it. My so ordered the chicken and biscuits and I liked his better! Just the right amount of honey for sweetness and the chicken was cooked perfectly! That's My Jam is a fantastic addition to the Galleria! We visited around 9 AM on a Sunday and found the wait surprisingly brief. The hostesses were upbeat and kind and our server was awesome! She was super helpful with recommendations that made ordering so much easier lol. There were just so many things I wanted to try. We ordered the Kids Mickey Mouse Pancake, the Breakfast Burrito, and the Southern Combo. The Mickey Mouse pancake is mean. It's absolutely massive. Easily large enough to satisfy an adult. We chose to top with chocolate chips, whipped cream, and a side of fruit salad. The fruit was genuinely fresh, a quality often lacking at other restaurants. The pancake itself was wonderfully fluffy and they were not shy with the chocolate chips. It was a huge hit with my son and I quickly understood why after sneaking a bite lol. The breakfast burrito was solid. Chorizo, eggs, tater tots, and onion wrapped in a perfectly toasted tortilla made for a very satisfying and flavorful bite. The southern plate is undeniably HEARTY! You can really taste the "homemade" in their homemade gravy. The eggs were perfectly fluffy and the entire $16 portion felt incredibly generous. Besides the food, the space itself is a huge plus especially for families. It's spacious and features a beautiful little playground outside. It's entertaining for the kids and makes post- ordering stress free! Overall, our family was thoroughly impressed. The food is excellent, the service is warm, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We have been here for breakfast and lunch and both experiences were above and beyond expectations. And I don't just mean Bee Cave expectations which have historically been meh. I can say this is one of if not the top place in West Austin for brunch. In fact I'd put it up against the greater Austin brunch spots. Great menu, lots of options, portions are generous to really large for some dishes (full stack pancakes - lemon blueberry are amazing). Most importantly the food is delicious! The service has been awesome every time, and we're rolling with 2-4 kids...there's a playground when the sun isn't trying to melt Austin into a puddle. Alena has been a highlight for our visits, she's the best of the best. Breakfast recommendations, sweet for the kids - tons of options; pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes and all the sides and add ons. Savory breakfasts can lean into spicy which is our jam (see what we did there). Special challenge to get out without a togo container. Lunch, turkey avocado wrap was delicious and then the turkey club was the best of the best in all the world...yes it was really good. Other hits,bacon, biscuits and jam, all the potato sides, fruit to balance. All around can't go wrong. I asked for the honey butter... she asked the manager and was told it should be on the plate. Finally brought the whipped honey butter at the end of the meal. The breakfast potatoes came from a bag for sure and we had to get up and go to the bar to get a coffee refill. And, not sure what happened to the patty sausage.. hard as a rock. Service was poor and clearly a newbie that didn't know the menu. Food was meh but the restaurant is nice. Menu options nice but so far not great. Atmosphere and design is upscale for the interior, and they've enclosed the side patio - it's much nicer than the previous three restaurants in the same space. The menu is deep and wide, with lots of choices! It's a little pricey, but the volume on the food correlates, at least. We all enjoyed our choices and will be back! Service was very attentive, also.
