It truly saddens me to write this review, as I used to really enjoy coming to this restaurant. Unfortunately, after several disappointing experiences, I can no longer recommend it. At that time, the food was always great, but that day there were several teenagers running around without any supervision. One of them went through my purse and took two of my credit cards, which they later used. It was an extremely upsetting experience that I never forgot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The second bad experience happened more recently. There were several small children running around the restaurant, throwing things, and one even ran over my foot. I kindly asked the woman who appeared to be their guardian to please keep them under control, as they were screaming and causing chaos throughout the dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead of addressing the issue, the manager approached me and said he didn't like the way I complained, explaining that his own kids "act the same way." Shortly afterward, another staff member told me to leave and not to come back. Her approach was very rude and unprofessional. At that point, I had already decided I would not be returning, but the way I was treated confirmed that decision. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Because of these repeated issues with unsupervised behavior and poor management, I no longer feel comfortable dining here. I normally try to go to a place more than once before I write a review like this. Because it is a three, and because of the experience that I received, I will be circling back to visit again however I am concerned I stood in line on my lunch dinner break waiting longer than three minutes and no one served me. I finally proactively just walked up to the counter to see if it was my turn because the representatives (two registers open ) standing there did not actually call me to them. I am not sure what the process is here because I am new to this location however I am concerned with the service that is being rendered. Customer care is so key and providing good service and good food at any establishment. Pro actively helping clients while they're standing in line and waiting is a great idea in continuing to have people return. The frustration is that there are two people working the register but they let me just stand there and just wait. After I ordered my food, I just sat and watched just to see what would happen, and I noticed that there are continuous people walking in and getting served immediately. Again, servicing everything and there's a perception when you see literally the same person that serviced you proactively reach out to the clients standing in line to see if they were ready to order. Been coming here since it opened. And I'm frankly quite concerned about some of the negative comments about service. I've always been greeted with a friendly smile and the food has always been consistent. I think the quality of the meat stands up to itself as well. Sometimes I just get a small kids burger if I've got a craving for a burger but not a huge appetite. The buns, both regular and gluten-free, are always fluffy and fresh and the toppings are crunchy and delicious. All Star Burger I wanna like you! Been dining here occasionally for awhile; more so now that I work in the area. I totally appreciate the various combinations and creativity of the menu. Simple order at the counter process; burgers delivered to your table once it's made. All Star signature burger is good but you can go fancier with other menu items like the Visionary with goat cheese. Last visit I had some open faced monster smothered in chili. I've had the Five Island one too with ahi tuna. Wished it was a solid chunk and not ground up. So burger of your choice, fries, drink...$20. I know this is Richey Rich neighborhood and I'm sure the rent is very high in the Galleria...A bit too rich for me to eat here on a regular basis even with my fancy Bee Cave salary. Plus, I leave a mound of fries every time. Small order is $3.50 and I can barely tackle half when eating the burger too. Perhaps consider a half order of the small? Most days I just hit the McDonalds drive thru and order a McDouble, no ketchup or mustard, sub Big Mac Sauce, add roma tomatoes, and an iced tea. Under $6. And I hate McDonalds as a rule except it's so cheap. If I'm semi balling I hit the Wendy's in Lakeway and save $2 by using the app. That's around $7 for a combo. Had several of my students from National Driver Training suggest All Star Burger. The fries perfectly cooked and were seasoned well. Very nice flavor. I ordered the the ML Kaiser. It was a perfectly cooked Venison patty with caramelized onions, spicy mustard, lettuce, and Pepper Jack cheese. It was a super juicy burger with a great flavor. Driving through the hill country and was looking for a place to eat that we had never been to before and found A Star Burger. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The All Star Burger was great with super fresh ingredients. The server recommended the cheesy bacon fries with a ranch dipping sauce and it's more than enough for 2-3 people to share. If you are the owner of this establishment i recommend you take a customer service course. walked in simply asking for two sides of ranch, he proceeded to say to me "did you but anything here" and i go no i did not, and proceeds to tell me i cant take the ranch because hes not just going to give me ranch, in his words "those cost me money". mind you if he would have said to me ofc but we do charge so and so i would have had absolutely no issue doing so. I have eaten here many, many times. It's kind of annoying because every time I come in, I can't decide which burger to get. I guess that is a good problem to have. I have tried multiple burgers and always get their fries. I have never been done wrong here. The burgers are always beautifully cooked, nice and juicy with great flavor. Most importantly. They are messy. I feel that a good hotdog, burger or sandwich is messy to eat. If it ain't messy, it ain't done right. A perfect one of any of the 3 should make you want to like your fingers and send you to the sink afterwards. This always happens here. The fries are the perfect size, not too thick, not too thin to give you a good amount of potato flavor but still get a little crisp without getting crunchy. A very good burger. Located in the Bee Caves Galleria. You can smell the burger from a block away. Yum. Meat was moist and perfectly cooked (medium). Meat is fresh pressed and not frozen. Bun was lightly toasted and excellent although I think it should be a just a little smaller. I prefer a greater meat to bun ratio. Veggies were fresh and on the side. Fries were fresh cut and also very good. Would like to see them add onion rings to the menu but otherwise this place will most definitely satisfy your burger craving. Pretty solid. They don't skimp on their burger toppings or their fries portion. I got the Visionary and my boyfriend got their special The Gracee (lamb, feta, olives). The burger patty was thin but large. Mine was not as juicy as other reviewers are saying it was - the juices seem to come from the topping instead. That said, the burger toppings were delicious. See my pic for how much goat cheese they loaded my burger up with! The portion of bacon cheesy fries was almost obscenely large but because they put it on the tray, the fries stay crisp and don't get soggy - genius. I visited All Star tonight with my sister and her kids (5 people total). At 6pm there were a few patio tables available and inside was mostly empty. This is the style restaurant where you order at the counter and then they bring your food to you which I like. The cashier was super friendly and engaged the kids in conversation and seemed genuinely interested in what they had to say. I got the kids cheeseburger and fries. The burger was just the right size for me, cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The fries were crispy and they gave me more than I could eat. My nephew had a shake that looked so good! Have been here a few times and always get the pioneer chopped salad. It is consistenly excellent. The champagne vinaigrette dressing is perfect vinegary sweetness for my taste. The thick shaved parmesan, creamy ripe avocado chunks, crunch of the bacon and freshness of the chilled greens makes for an excellent salad. The only nitpick is that the salad bowl is very steep with a small base and tippy which makes it necessary to hold the bowl with the non fork hand. The cheeseburger is only a 3.5 rating for me because the meat has a smoky flavor that doesn't work for me although the perfectly grilled buns are a standout.
