Hoppy Hour Menu as of 04.08.2025

Overall: 3.4/5 We came back on two separate occasions (dine in and take out), and the food wasn't as good as the first time we dined here. Farmers' Market Cocktail ($15.50): Our waitress recommended this gingerbread cocktail, but it fell short of expectations. The gingerbread flavor was barely detectable, though they did serve it with an ice cube shaped like a gingerbread man. Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger ($23) + Beer Battered Onion Rings ($3): A medium rare beef patty with bone marrow shiitake butter, grilled onions, horseradish mustard aioli, and roasted tomatoes. Unfortunately, the patty was dry and lacked juiciness, and the bone marrow shiitake butter flavor didn't come through. The burger as a whole was surprisingly bland. I'm not even convinced the tomatoes and grilled onions made it in, as it tasted like a bare bones, basic burger. The onion rings were decent and crispy. Double Smash Burger ($20.75) + Sweet Potato Fries ($3): Garlic dijonnaise, red onions, dill pickles, and American Swiss cheese. This was an improvement over the Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger, with noticeably more flavor, though I wished it came with lettuce and tomatoes. The sweet potato fries would have benefited from being air fried, as they would taste better crisped. Lettuce Wrap ($18.25): You can choose between chicken or tofu, and we went with chicken. The gochujang based sauce gave it a great flavor that we really enjoyed. That said, some of the lettuce had blackened edges and one piece had a bug on it. They really need to wash and inspect the lettuce more thoroughly. Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts ($12): The orange chili glaze and chimichurri created an amazing flavor profile. However, the Brussels sprouts were anything but crispy despite being air fried, which is probably because they were extremely oily. Purple Haze ($6): An interesting and enjoyable drink.

Eureka! Burger (no bun, I can't for my figure lol), and sweet potato fries w/no honey.

Burger wasn't bad, just took way too long for it. I think the order is forgotten. Ordered sweet potato fries but didn't come, still the regular fries and not too fresh. I ended up box it away and ate it at my hotel room. The good thing is. I was hungry after one hour wait.

I may have eaten my dates fig burger. I do not eat beef, but I tried it and I just couldn't stop. The mix of creamy goat cheese, tart and sweet fig and ... a few moments later it was GONE. I felt bad, but he wouldn't let me order another, because I wanted to eat another one but I was already full. The bourbon barrel dessert is killer and you NEED to get the garlic aioli on everything!!! Especially the house signature fries. The vibe is chill and I would comeback every night if I could.

Eureka! - Downtown Austin Austin is known for BBQ, but sometimes you pivot... and sometimes that pivot turns into one of the most satisfying meals of the trip. Eureka! absolutely delivered. I kept it simple: Caesar salad, dry rub wings, fries, and a bold 12% stout. The kind of order that sounds casual but hits like comfort food perfection. The wings were crispy with just the right smoky-spice kick, the fries disappeared embarrassingly fast, and the stout was smooth, rich, and strong enough to make you slow down and savor it. And then dessert showed up and stole the whole show. Bourbon barrel cake with ice cream. Warm, buttery, slightly boozy, with that cold ice cream melting into every bite... one of those "okay this is dangerous" desserts you keep eating long after you're full. Easily the MVP of the night. Great vibe, relaxed energy, solid service, and food that punches way above "bar food" expectations. Not BBQ, but honestly? Didn't miss it for a second.

Eureka! is nicely located in downtown ATX near many of the hotels. They are open late, which was the main draw for us to stop in. There is ample seating and great options for bigger groups. Service was quick and kind. I loved that all salads/bowls could be made into wraps!!! The mediterranean salad as a wrap was a HIT and the fries were nicely flavored. I definitely recommend this place if you are in downtown.

Excellent food and service! My husband and I stopped in on a holiday, and we found a great bar with outstanding food. We tried the dorito crusted shishito peppers with Parmesan, which came with a delightful dipping sauce. Absolutely delicious; we ordered on a whim and could've gone for another order easily. We each had a burger; my husband had the BBQ bacon burger with truffle cheese fries. I had the fig burger with honey-cinnamon sweet potato fries. Both were just fantastic. The drink menu is ample and delicious. You are just about guaranteed to find something you like! Also worth calling out that bartender was super friendly and full of suggestions. The bar area was clean, comfortable, cool and inviting. We very much enjoyed our visit and will be back!

Valeria was awesome! Gave great recommendations, was attentive, and thoughtful. We truly appreciated her vibe! This spot has live music, is medium loud, and the food was out of this world! The following burgers were the ones we tried and loved: *The Bison *BBQ Bacon *Eureka American *Spicy Fried Chicken *Wings: Firecracker & BBQ Dry Rub The only downside is parking. They're on 6th street so plan ahead or use a ride share.

Had an incredible experience here being served by Lorena. We split the Cobb salad and the fish tacos and upgraded to green beans on the side of the fish tacos and they were delicious. Lorena was very kind and took care of us promptly and made sure we were fully taken care of the ambience was clean and welcoming and comfortable. I love that their windows throughout the space so you can see the street view while you're sitting inside they have a lot of options for food and I will definitely be coming back to try some more.

I dined in during lunch time with coworkers and shared the following food options: Brussels sprouts Truffled cheese fries Fried pickles Wings Fish and chips Everything was super tasty! My favorite appetizer by far were the Brussels sprouts. The service was fast and the food very hot! I loved the vibe of the place, it seemed like everyone was having a fun time and chatting it up. Perfect place to grab a quick bite or drink!

Pretty solid spot for a late night...it's a great location downtown and I was able to walk right in and sit at the bar. The bartender was really nice. I had a burger with a sub of tatter tots. The burger itself wasn't bad, but a little underwhelming and the tots were the best part.

Mac N' Cheese Balls

We visited Eureka! last night and the food was decent. I ordered the jalapeño and egg burger with the truffle fries which was good. Although I could have done without the truffle fries and the extra $3 charge. It was drenched with truffle oil, which was overpowering. The burger meat was good, but it was nothing to rave about. We also ordered the macaroni and cheese balls, which were actually good and would recommend. The service was great. The hostess seated us right away without any wait since there were hardly any people in the restaurant. Our waiter was helpful and very friendly. The ambiance was nice except we sat by the front window by the hostess stand, and we witness two homeless men fighting. There is a large full bar in the center of the restaurant, which has a lot of cocktail selections. It would be a nice place if there were not a ton of homeless loitering on the side of the restaurant.

Is there gluten free options?

The burgers can be wrapped in lettuce wraps, if that helps at all!

Menu with prices?

this place is a bit more elevated on menu and prices than the other places around, however it is also a more elevated quality and the prices are not super terrible. but don`t expect cheap eats here.

I absolutely love the vibe of this place--it's definitely a high-end Mediterranean restaurant, perfect for special occasions. What really stood out was how beautifully everyone was dressed; it added to the upscale, elegant atmosphere of the entire space. The restaurant offers both indoor seating and a beautiful outdoor seating area, which really elevates the overall experience. The outdoor space, in particular, adds to the charm and makes it a great spot for a relaxed yet upscale evening. Since reservations weren't available, we decided to arrive early, expecting a long wait. Luckily, being a Sunday evening, it wasn't too crowded, and we were seated within about 20 minutes. For drinks, I ordered a Tender Robot Hazy IPA, while my husband went with the Verdant Mai Tai. I was a bit disappointed to learn they only serve canned beer and don't offer draft options, as I personally prefer draft beer and am not a big fan of cocktails, which tend to be too sweet for my taste. For the main course, I had the Heirloom Chicken Thighs, and my husband ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. Both dishes were cooked to perfection--flavorful, well-seasoned, and the meat was incredibly tender. That said, the portion sizes felt a bit small considering the price point. We ended the meal with the Sticky Date Cake, and it was hands down the best I've ever had--rich, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. Overall, we had a great experience. Between the beautiful ambiance, flavorful food, and exceptional service, it's a place I'd definitely return to. I'm giving it 4 stars mainly because of the lack of draft beer and the smaller portion sizes for the price, but it's still a fantastic spot worth visiting.

It was also overcast that day. Even though we were a bit early, they were able to seat us quickly. We ended up just having drinks and one side item (yummy squash dish). We made the decision to leave before a full meal because the menu wasn't as vegetarian and gluten free friendly as we'd thought it might be. Danny was our waiter and he was very understanding! He gave us several great drink recommendations. We all very much enjoyed our cocktails and mocktail with a side appetizer of squash. The cocktails were delicious, although definitely on the pricey side. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The portions were extremely small, and the prices felt very steep for both the quality and the amount served. While the presentation was nice, the taste simply didn't justify the cost. On top of that, having to pay $15 for valet added even more to an already expensive evening. Overall, Nido is worth visiting once for the views and a cocktail, but I personally wouldn't return for dinner. There are plenty of other spots in Austin that offer much better value for the price.

The beef tartare was the first to be cleaned. Our favorite starter. 2. Apple cashew salad was a refreshing take on a pad thai. 3. Tempura mushrooms were incredibly memorable in umami, sweetness, acidity, and perfect fry. Highly recommend for a comforting shareable. 4. Lobster spaghettini was a justified lobster pasta take - something you can't always say when you take chances on lobster pasta. They use the carcass of the lobster on the generous, silky beurre blanc which was worth a soup spoon. 5. Half chicken and parisian gnocci was a great alternative for a typical body builder meal. Perfectly tender and the fried gnocchi was delicious. Bonus: - Shoutout to Chris, our server, who made us feel welcomed like friend. We learned so much about the location's genesis and architecture which made it that much more interesting. - A true NY-inspired must-experience gem. The establishment is even grander than the photos make it out to be... massive rooms peppered with large wooden beams; tables; and ironworks throughout. There were two other tables finishing up, and us. Our 40-something waiter had just the right balance of casual earthiness and professional attentiveness to match the stateliness of this restaurant. I ordered the Double Feature (Mezcal, hibiscus, ginger) $17 and she her usual "old fashioned" Montecristo (rye, highland park, cynar) $18. Both were fabulous. For apps we noticed charred/tossed brussles with one of the entrees and asked our waiter if that could be an appetizer (not on the menu) and he promptly said Done! It was terrific. For entrees she ordered the Texas Wagyu Strip $48 and I had my go-to fav whenever I see it on a menu: Short Rib $40. See the menu pics for the sauces and sides, suffice to say... incredible. By 8p we were the only occupants left in this cathedral-like establishment and ended up lingering until 9:45, ordering another drink and then one of THE best desserts I have ever had... the Guinness Chocolate Cake (with pumpkin puree, candied quinoa, and maple/choc ice cream) $12. We agreed that the candied quinoa was over the top - adding a delightfully subtle crunch to every bite in this richly dark choc dessert. After realizing that for the past hour we were keeping the bartender, host, waiter, and kitchen singlehandedly at our beckon call, we quietly dropped a c-note for a four-way tip. Thank you folks for the beautiful welcome wagon and chance to unwind and reconnect after 9 hours on the highway!
