Small Turkey on white with everything but mustard! Side of thunder sauce! Can't forget Miss Vickie's jalapeño chips!

I love Thudercloud Subs! This was the first stop when we got into Austin! Everything was amazing!!!

Today we had an excellent experience. The bread was melt in your mouth good. Ordered egg salad. Perfect amount on the sandwich. Veggies were fresh and well proportioned. Service was good. Tables were clean. Keep up the good work TC.

TLDR: exactly what you expect, and you get what you pay for. For food I had the New York Italian. The sandwich was pretty good. Bread was soft but just chewy enough. The meat was flavorful lettuce crisp. The whole nine yards. The thunder sauce really helped bring everything together. They have a selection of both Vickies and Lays chips. The location is a bit dingy. Old linoleum, faded paint, etc. but it was clean, just in dire need of a facelift. The people behind the counter were more than polite, so no issues there.

This is the absolute best sandwich spot in Austin, and my husband and I are totally obsessed with it. The menu items are priced really well, and the sandwiches are made with great portions. We love the Lady Bird sandwich (chicken salad) and The Club sandwich (turkey, ham, bacon). The thundersauce is a must, and don't forget to grab one of their brownies for dessert!

Came here for the first time today for lunch... another one of E's favorite spots in his "old stomping grounds". They're very strict about observing social distancing guidelines, which I appreciate. The menu isn't huge, which I love; I tend to get overwhelmed with too many options. You can get your sub in either a small size or a large, and can add chips and/or a drink. E ordered the California club, so I did too. Large, with mayo and mustard, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and thunder sauce, on wheat bread. When we got to our friend's place and unwrapped them, they smelled sooooo good. I enjoyed every single bite of my sub. They were very generous with the Turkey, bacon, and avocado, and juuuuust right with the rest of the fixins. Everything tasted fresh and the whole thing pretty much melted in my mouth. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

It's about time I review this place. Been here for 20yrs and never disappoint. I can't get enough of the egg salad and how has it not changed in 20yrs? I am so glad my son requested this place for his bday lunch lol he loved his sub, the Cali club. Its filled with avocadoes. He always gets that and is his fave. My hubby got the roast beef. And this time it was stacked. And I love how this place usually stuffs them especially my egg salad and makes the bread so soft and fresh. Would go here again for lunch anytime. We called this in during Covid time and it was fresh and ready for pickup in less than 10mins. Thanks for a yummy lunch!! Loved it. The best egg salad ever. Overflowing!! So satisfied!!

The meatless chicken is delicious. Bread and veggies were really good as well. Found the thunder sauce to be boring.

However, upon opening the front door I was met with beautiful fine dining ambience: exotic ceramic-tiled walls, cherry-finished wicker furniture cushioned with satin pillows, and of course the enormous golden cherub statue in the center of the room which delicately sprayed chicken tortilla soup into the Venice-like channels that crosshatched the restaurant. A hostess in a gondola rowed us to our table singing a song in another language (maybe Italian?) before letting us know that the Soup Man would be with us shortly as he was very busy today. The warning was unwarranted though, as the Soup Man shortly thereafter appeared at our table addressing, us by name and apologizing that the hostess didn't realize what esteemed guests we were. Bashfully I stammered that he must have me confused with someone else as I'd never been to this establishment before, but he softly shook his head and with a smile said, "I know all who live within this city." and pulled a steaming bowl of turkish wedding soup (my favorite!) from behind my ear as if to prove his point. Overall it was a wonderful experience! I am docking it one star because they were out of oyster crackers to crumble on my soup. Will be back!

They were giving out free smoothie samples with three options: mango OJ, strawberry & banana, and banana PB. Their smoothies aren't very sweet and overall pretty basic. The mango & orange one was too icy, so it was hard to sip. The banana & peanut butter mostly tasted like peanut butter, but it wasn't too thick, which I liked. They also let you spin a wheel for a prize which was fun. Parking can be difficult during rush hour so I recommend ordering for take out. My parents bought an 8 oz cup of the chicken soup with rice. It was actually really good and packed with ingredients. It's something I would gladly eat on a cold winter day. I definitely liked their soups a lot more than their smoothies.

We loved the Soup Peddler and would go back again to try their other menu items (it's a large menu and you are sure to find more than a few things to your liking)! It's a walk up window with outdoor tables; friendly service!
