BYO Mediterranean bowls and salad -- healthy, filling, and pretty good. They do get crowded during lunch but line seems to move fast. Not a fan of the falafel, but the other proteins are good. Dips and pita are tasty!

Aug 9, 2025 review: ---- This was a online order, pretty quick to place and order for ready in like 5 mins. There are two options for pickup - by walking to the restaurant or drive through, I chose the restaurant pickup. Bowl has plenty of filling like saffron white rice, black lentils, roasted veg, falafel, hummus, feta, pickled onion, tomato+ onion, cabbage slaw, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine, pita crisp, skhug and also came with pita. I think, next time I would opt for going in person and making my bowl over there. That way I can control the quantity little better - like more veggies and less rice. Sauce on the side were also good. Please note that there are two CAVA location in this proximity so don't get confuse. One in domain and other in arboretum. In general, I've seen domain one pretty full, not a place to park in front.

Love this location. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Always nice people, great service here. Pepino helped me and ensured everything was just how I needed it. He was very friendly and warm. He walked around to check on the customers, which this is the only location that I've seen do that. I ordered my favorite, the Harissa Avacado Bowl! Even got a sauce hack from another employee to mix the spicy sauce and balsamic for a sweet and spicy taste. It is delicious. And, of course you have to get the classic pita chips and a lemonade! Soooo gooood!! Nice and clean store. I usually always sit down and enjoy my meal here!

This was a bad experience. The floor was completely, all over sticky. They must have washed the floor with soda. You could hear and feel your shoes stick and pull. My heel actually pulled out of my shoe. I kid you not. I should have left and gone some place else. If the dinning is disgusting the kitchen can't be up to code. Should have left but I was meeting a friend here so we stayed. Tried to make the best of it. They were busy with the game happening or just ending. A lot of people walking all over The Domain with their supporting jerseys. I placed my order of a pita. Thinking it would be a pocket. Yikes, it's not. It was a complete mess. All the fillings spilled out. No way was I going to try to handle the pita. My friend asked if they had knives. They said they were completely out. So I had to eat my pita with a fork and pull it apart with my fingers. It was messy. Just an unpleasant first impression. I don't see myself going back. It's dirty, and there are thousands of places I'd rather try or repeat going to. It's a flop for me

This was my first time to Cava at the Domain or any Cava for that matter. I chose the chicken and rice bowl and my friend chose a pita sandwich. Ordering was pretty straightforward. My chicken and rice bowl was good. However, when I let the cashier know they were out of forks in the utensils container, she said that they were out of knives for the restaurant. Thus, I had to go to my car to get a plastic knife out of my car, which I carry for unexpected needs for utensils. The drink area was completely sticky where I had to wipe my sandals off twice. My friend said her pita sandwich was good but it was pretty runny she had to eat it with a fork since there were no knives. Sub-optimal experience...

This was my first time in CAVA - Austin. Is located in a great area in the Domain, with plenty of parking. The place itself is super nice, also the people who take the orders are super friendly and the food did not disappoint. I order a bowl and was amazing, fresh and full of flavor, but my favorite part was the pineapple apple mint SO GOOD! I'll definitely come back for more!

Perfect weekday lunch place, veggies and meat are super fresh. Ordered the chicken bowl and customized the toppings, turned out super great and service was quick . Love their brownies, they are the right size for a quick

Worst pita ever made. You should be embarrassed.

Wow. Talk about a fail! Where's the chicken? The red pepper hummus? The tzatziki? The extra roasted veggies I paid for? The side of garlic dressing? This is the worst and saddest pita I've ever seen in my life. And unacceptable for an 18 dollar pita. Y'all really gotta do better. This is pathetic.

The staff here was so nice and attentive. I asked for so many extra things and they were more than accommodating. Huge shout out to Pepino and Will!! . Will be back Ofcourse Jules

I ordered my bowl to go on the app. When we arrived we went through the online pick up window however nobody ever came to the window so we had to pull around and go in. Not a big deal for me however a note for the staff to be more attentive or maybe the device to notify them is broken. Anywho I build my own bowl and I really loved it. Everything was fresh and flavorful, the pita bread was a great texture and the sauces put the bowl over the top! Can't wait to come back and try more things .

Love Cava. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Never a bad moment when visiting Cava. The honey Harissa chicken is my go to. Place was actively being cleaned as customers were leaving. Lots of Natural light with all the glass windows. Bathrooms could use some attention but not surprised with lunch rush being so busy. Great job cava team.

Run don't walk to CAVA!!! I made my own salad and it was SOO GOOD. Honorable mentions: the honey harissa chicken & the pickled onions. Those two things in particular really made my tastebuds dance. This location also gives really nice portions. 10/10 would recommend.

From the moment we sat down, the service set a phenomenal tone for the meal. Our server, Avery, genuinely took the time to ask what we were interested in, thoughtfully guiding us through the menu with recommendations that were, frankly, unbelievable. Every single suggestion was spot-on. As for the food, every dish that arrived at the table was a masterpiece: The Brunch Plate: A beautifully classic, elevated breakfast. The sunny-side-up eggs were cooked to absolute perfection, seasoned with a light touch of pepper and spice. Paired with perfectly golden, crispy hash browns, savory sausage, thick-cut toast, and a rich fruit compote, it was a flawless, hearty start to the day. The Beet & Citrus Salad: A vibrant, refreshing standout. The earthy depth of roasted red and golden beets paired wonderfully with bright, juicy citrus segments, creamy crumbled cheese, and fresh greens. It was beautifully balanced, incredibly fresh, and a perfect contrast of textures. The Pesto Pasta: Absolutely spectacular. The pasta shape held onto the rich, flavorful pesto sauce perfectly, which was tossed with fresh spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and tender chicken, all finished with a generous dusting of parmesan. It was savory, comforting, and packed with bright, fresh flavor. Between the flawless, attentive service and the phenomenal quality of the kitchen, they made this Father's Day incredibly memorable. We will absolutely be back!

Vida Verde Kitchen -- A Hidden Gem That's Worth Finding…read more Austin is overflowing with trendy restaurants where the food is decent, the lighting is aggressive, and the wait time requires a light snack and a personality shift. I tend to avoid those places. Vida Verde Kitchen, thankfully, is not that. Tucked into a great area but slightly hidden (the kind of spot you feel proud to "discover"), Vida Verde feels like a restaurant that exists for people who actually want to eat, not just post. The menu is a thoughtful fusion of Tex-Mex, fresh flavors, and Americana--familiar enough to be comforting, but creative enough to keep things interesting. Yes, it's a bit overpriced, but the food earns its confidence. The guacamole is an absolute must, and anything leaning Tex-Mex is consistently solid. I can vouch. The wait staff deserves real credit here--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in the food and experience, which goes a long way these days. The atmosphere hits that Austin sweet spot: industrial touches softened by lush green foliage. It's stylish without trying too hard, which is rare and appreciated. If I had one note? This place needs a happy hour and a few more solid specials. Do that, and Vida Verde becomes dangerous--in the best way. Overall: a unique, thoughtful restaurant that avoids the hype trap and delivers where it matters. Definitely worth your time (and thankfully, not hours of it).

We were seated in the back and were given a chance to order drinks immediately. Sadly, the service after that point was unusually slow for our table. The rest of the people around us were getting served appetizers and their meals before our waitress even came back to take our order. The prices are a little higher than the best Mexican spots in Austin, so I'm glad that I wasn't paying for this meal. Once we were given a chance to order, I grabbed their Quesabirria tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were great. Super crispy and the meat was flavorful. The consomé was excellent to dip the tacos in. The beans were pretty good and the rice was decent Mexican rice, though not exceptional. I would maybe give it another chance if I was nearby, but after having to wait so long to order, I'm a little deterred from coming back, even if I thought the food was pretty good.
