First timer. Uber friendly Service. I think I was sitting maybe 4 minutes. Shannon was the bomb. I had the Fish and chip , this thing was huge and crunchy. The fish was crunchy and hot fries are addicting. The fish taste I would rate a 8 it was savory and the cold slaw was yummy as well. Try the velvet chocolate cup cake ..

Food was excellent. Prime rib was tinder and delicious and veggies were cooked just right. I didn't hear one complaint from anyone about their food. Good service and food came our hot and in a timely manner.

Great service and food was good. We had an early dinner because we were at Thunder Valley for a show. When we finished eating there was a line to get in. We have eaten here a couple of times whenever we go to a show. All dishes we've ever ordered has always been good. It's a nice casual place to eat. The food no matter what we've ordered has always been good.

12/12/25- Checking out from the room and decided to grab a quick breakfast.. So many memories of when we would dine here with family.. Busy but service is attentive.. Went with the all American and the breakfast burrito.. Love all the baked goods..

Great brunch at Thunder Valley Cafe. Portions were huge and Ashtin was a friendly and attentive server. We got the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy and the steak and eggs (which came with 3 eggs and hash browns). Both were delicious and the medium rare steak was cooked perfectly. They even brought out ketchup and Tabasco sauce without us asking.

If we ever find ourselves hungry when we are visiting TV we usually enjoy a meal at Thunder Cafe. For being in the middle of a middle of a casino it is always a quiet relaxing atmosphere while dine. Service is always very friendly and quick. We haven't tried anything we haven't liked. We will definitely be back. What do you recommend?

While the service at Thunder Valley Cafe was attentive, the food quality was a major disappointment. We ordered three dishes, and out of the three, two missed the mark entirely. The Turkey Dinner was almost inedible--the turkey was tough, dry, and difficult to chew. Similarly, the chicken in the Chicken Pasta was so heavily over-seasoned it completely overwhelmed the dish. For the price point, the poor execution on these simple classics is unacceptable. Until the kitchen fixes its consistency, I can't recommend eating here.

In general, I thought the food was pretty good considering this cafe is located inside a casino. The price was also very reasonable. The fries were tasty and they seasoned - nice and crunchy. On the other hand, the fish was dried. The seafood linguine was meh - under seasoned and the seafood tasted bland and frozen.

Chinese salad no meat.

Food - Above average. Egg drop noodle soup with chicken was huge and warm spicy. Enough for 3. Chinese salad (I chose not to add chicken) was very good. Fantastic deserts, and you can buy all that at a counter outside, even a luscious piece of pumpkin pie. I was good and did not partake. Service was great, no rush. Ambiance- Noisy casino Cafe, once it filled up hard to have a conversation.

I have to say I really liked the clam chowder. Very tasty with lots of clam pieces. But the fish and chips were not so good. The menu said the fish is haddock but it was very dry. Crispy batter but dry. I would probably go back just for the chowder and try something else but avoid the "haddock"!!!!

Queen Nation main singer is like a Reincarnation of Freddie Mercury. He sounds just like him. Such a top notch singer on his own. Multi-instrumental and very talented. Masterful guitar performances that are spot on. Beautiful acoustic song Love of My Life. A real true honoring of Queen music. They did all the best hits too.

Good-sized, well made prime-rib dinner

I was surprisingly delighted with our meal here at the Thunder Cafe. Me and my wife had an hour before our concert at The Venue so we had a quick dinner here at Thunder Cafe. The restaurant feels very similar to any Vegas cafe/dinner. There was no wait and we were led to our booth immediately. The menu is typical American diner; I had their Prime Rib dinner and my wife had their Taco Salad. We also had an order of Calamari for appetizer. The calamari was okay. Nothing to rave about but pretty solid. Shortly, we had our main dishes. First of, my prime rib meal was very substantial. I was surprised how well proportioned my meat was with a proper amount of thickness. Flavor was also there; the prime rib has proper seasoning, so was the mash potatoes. The au jus compliments the beef well and the side vegies were not an afterthought. Overall, it was a very well made prime rib dinner. My wife's tacos salad was delicious as well. I had a quick taste and it was delicious was well, albeit may just a hair too salty. What really blew my mind was that with an appetizer, two main dishes, and a dessert. With tax and tip included was still south of a hundred dollars. I'm pretty sure it was hoovering around $80ish if I reckon. I'm like 'that's a pretty damn good deal!' I don't think I'd see that anywhere in the Bay Area. So concert go'ers or slot machine'ers I'd highly recommend Thunder Cafe for any of your food cravings.

While visiting Thunder Valley for an event last night, we decided to arrive early to grab dinner at the casino beforehand. We tried the steakhouse first, but found that no reservations were available - not surprising. So we decided on Thunder Cafe which had a small line, but it moved fast and we didn't have to wait for a table even though it was pretty busy. We were greeted immediately by our server Evonne who was very friendly and personable. We ordered coffee to start as we knew it was going to be a long night and also the Seafood Linguine and the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich. The Linguine came with garlic bread on the side and the Sandwich came with your choice of fruit or fries - my mom chose fruit. While the Linguine was clearly made with frozen shrimp and scallops, the vodka sauce had a good flavor and the noodles were cooked well - I ate my entire plate. My mom enjoyed her Portobello Sandwich even though she said it was a bit messy and ended up eating it with a fork and a knife. Thunder Cafe also offers a crazy array of desserts - they had multiple glass cases full of everything from breakfast pastries, to cheesecakes to even my personal favorite - Tiramisu. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and I would definitely check them out next time we visit Thunder Valley!

Bold flavors, expert preparation, pretty on the plate and generous portions. Bambie had the 1/2 chicken fried southern style. Crispy ouside, soft and moist inside. Side of mash potatoes, side of perfectly sauteed carrot slices. I had a cesar salad. Fresh, crisp, again a big portion. The dressing was a perfect blance of creamy, piquant and a tad peppery. The croutons were crisp and flavorful. Best Cesar salad that I've had in years. My main dish was the pork carnitas tacos. Topped with heaping mounds of shredded cabbage. Creamy sauce on the cabbage. A side of mild-ish chipotle salsa served on the side to pour on the carnitas. The tacos were so big that they were almost too unwieldly to hold. But I persevered and gobbled them like there is no tomorrow. Satisfying. A big hungry guy will be perfectly happy after polishing off the plate. Wine selection is small but has the usual good suspects in the reasonable price range. Mostly California wines. I live 2 miles from this place. Tonight was my first visit. Oh yeah I'll be a frequent return customer. Highly recommended.

Next we asked Franklin about special dishes and he suggested the southern fried Mary's chicken with bacon gravy , which my wife ordered. I ordered the bacon fig jam burger with Brie cheese. We knew that Fourk had undergone a change in ownership last year and that the prices have gone up…read moresince we first started coming a few years back. But we had a free night come up and had been saving to be able to try it out again. We were one of only four parties there on a Thursday evening and we sat at the bar. We always enjoyed doing that in the past and once again loved the experience because we got to chat with the host Vincent and the chef Charles throughout the evening. We also were glad to see that many of the old elements of the Fourk experience have been upheld despite the change in ownership. Now, to the good stuff- the food was absolutely delicious. You can tell Chef Charles nerds out on coming up with all the dishes, how they work together, how they work with the season and also how the wines will pair with them. We had the Classic wine pairing which gives you a nice 1/4 glass pour with each of the four dishes. Believe me, you will be satisfied with the amount of wine you receive. Our four courses included a delicious winter greens salad with sweet persimmons, creamy goat cheese and candied pecans, a creamy potato leek soup with complex layers of flavor including a Chantilly cream and chive oil, a pork roulade with a filling with garlic and herbs paired with the yummiest apricot/mustard pan sauce, truffle mashed potatoes (with real shaved truffles!) and a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Every single dish was scrumptious and we left feeling very full and satisfied. A five star experience from start to finish. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. We will be back after we save up for the next time

The salmon tasted great with a nice texture-pretty solid yet soft when bitten. For $54 tho, I was expecting it to come with a little side dish like steamed vegetables or rice pilaf, but it was just the salmon in the middle of a big plate. It's a good thing that we bought a side of broccolini. I can't really say much about the Filet Mignon. With a price tag of $78, it was not worth it. What made the Mother's Day experience memorable was the staff from the greeter to the person that sat us, and the waiter and server (Rachel and John I think) were all pleasant and welcoming and made us feel like they were doing their part to make our experience a memorable one.
