If you are looking for some good Chinese food for a low price this is the place to go to . The service was definitely not the greatest they were pretty slow with everything. Next time I order I would take it to go.

Whenever I'm in town to visit my family I have to stop here and eat. The food is good and the service is slow but is good. We usually come here to eat the family meal and always get the bo bo platter. I was too hungry so forgot to take pictures of it but I did get pics of other food.

Like Columbus, I've discovered something that others have discovered before me. Yes, like the New World, Three Happiness is pretty awesome. I am always open to trying new places, especially if they happen to have Vietnamese food on the menu. I had passed this place bunches of times throughout my life on the Westbank and I always wondered about it. I finally decided to stop in. First of all, don't be intimidated that this place is located in a super sketchy strip mall. Yes, there was a weird guy lurking outside of the place when I went. No, he didn't bother me. Just walk with purpose and you'll be fiiiiiine. The atmosphere of this place is great. I love that it's wide open and you can even rent it out for parties! I went shortly after normal lunch hours, so it was empty when I got here. I seated myself and looked over the extensive menu. You should know that this place has a lot of choices- both Chinese and Vietnamese. They have everything from classic Chinese dishes such as lo mein to Vietnamese yums like pho, vermicelli and banh mi. I already knew that I wanted some cold spring rolls and pho with rare beef, so that's what I had. I love that the spring rolls come 4 to an order. It works out for sharing and guarantees that everyone gets their fill. The pho was great! I got the small bowl, which turned out to be perfect for lunch. The broth had a lot of flavor and there was a nice, generous serving of meat, which made it perfect. I loved this place and I will definitely be back. They are closed Mondays, so be aware of that. I like that they have a huge menu, so they are sure to have something good that everyone would like.

This little gem is hidden in a questionable shopping center. I have seen it countless times while driving by but never stopped in to check it out. It's been in business for the past couple of decades at least, so it must be doing something right. I decided to venture there yesterday with family, and we tried a few things off of their menu. We had our junk food fix with their "Bo Bo Tray." The portions was generous. All the fried things were cooked to crispy perfection. The shrimp toast could have had a thicker schmear of shrimp, but whatevs. We then had the salt and pepper lobster. It was quite tasty but was a tad too salty. The breading used made the lobster crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The house special hot pot was also wonderful. The broth was light and refreshing. It contains all kinds of goodies including shrimp, beef balls, seafood balls, imitation crab meat, Vietnamese ham, pork skin/rinds, and little quail eggs. We also had a plate of stir-fried greens which were good but not exactly worthy of any descriptions. Overall, I was pleased with the visit. Their menu is quite extensive, and we will definitely return!

My family have enjoyed this place for the past few years now even before Katrina. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. The menu is huge, so you can always find something to eat. I don't recommend going here an hour or so before they close, because the food is awful around that time. I understand people wanna hurry up and leave, but that shouldn't be the case. I just had to point that out in case someone want to visit that place around closing time. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 star. Try their ice tea it's great!

The Egg drop soup is delicious. Had the shrimp with lobster sauce and it was fantastic with the shrimp fried rice. Highly recommend!!

The food here is good, but a bit pricey. I mean, $65 for a large bowl of soup? Not worth it at all.

I remember when this place used to be called Christine's Empress of China. I believe Christine was…read morethe owner back then, and now it's simply Empress of China. The name may have shortened, but the experience is still just as memorable. From the outside, you're not really sure what you're about to walk into. You get a hint of the Asian aesthetic, but you don't realize how immersive it's going to feel. Then you open the door. Right at the entrance is a koi fish pond with a small bridge over it. No, you can't walk across the bridge, but the koi are real, and you walk right by them on your way to the dining room. It immediately sets the tone. The dining room itself feels like you've stepped straight into China. The decor, the lighting, the details, everything transports you. It matches the cuisine and elevates the entire dining experience. The waitresses are incredibly sweet, respectful, patient, and kind. They answered all of my questions about the menu without hesitation and made sure we felt comfortable. The service feels authentic and attentive without being rushed. I ordered the boneless chicken with vegetables, fried rice, and egg rolls. The homemade egg rolls are always my favorite. You can absolutely tell they're hand rolled and not pulled from a freezer. The boneless chicken is made with hand cut chicken breast, and the batter is soft and flaky. It almost melts in your mouth. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The portion sizes are generous. It's definitely a eat now, eat later, and maybe even share with a friend kind of place. If you've only ever ordered takeout from here, you are missing half the experience. Sit down inside and take it all in. It's one thing to eat Chinese food. It's another thing to feel like you've been transported while doing it. This place leaves an impression.

The restaurant looks like it's straight out of China, one of those spots where you already know the food is about to slap just from walking in. Food: We ordered the combination fried rice, sweet and sour fried fish, handmade egg rolls, and an order of Cho's, and everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The combination fried rice was packed with meat and shrimp, well-seasoned, and not greasy. The sweet and sour fried fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy sauce. The handmade egg rolls were a standout, crispy, flavorful, and clearly made in-house, not frozen. The Cho's were also delicious and added a nice variety to the meal. Portions were generous and very satisfying, making it a great lunch spot if you're hungry. Service: The waitress was attentive and friendly, checking on us regularly and making sure everything came out quickly and correctly. The service felt genuine and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Ambiance: The restaurant has a very authentic, no-frills Chinese restaurant feel. It's simple, clean, and comfortable. the kind of place you go for good food, not fancy décor. It felt relaxed and perfect for a casual lunch with no rush. Overall: This spot is a hidden gem for real Chinese food. Great portions, bold flavors, and friendly service made for a solid lunch experience. If you're looking for authentic-tasting Chinese food that hits the spot, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back to try more items off the menu.

It took a while for our servers to find us and when our orders were put in it took over an hour to deliver two dishes. We had to remind them and ask them multiple times when our meal would come. We were met with the response that the large event would take priority over our meals. This wasn't my fav response because it just seemed that if you have an event going on, there would be other staff to take care of their food. The wait time was really disappointing. The black pepper tofu was quite good and the lemongrass tofu was decent but would prob not get it again.
