Loved this place. Got there at around 4:45 for Friday happy hour and it was already packed. It isn't huge and when full it can get hot. We didn't sit outside, although there is availability outside, due to the heat. Service was great and we had a big party. She separated all the bills and brought us drinks quickly. The food looked good. We didn't have any but I heard people say it was good. The dj was great and played GREAT music. A mix of everything. Thorn is a great addition to Westchester! Do you remember "The Westchester" pop-up at Lincoln's Beard Brewery? This is kind of it...but better. It's not really Westchester (the heart of) but it's located just east of Westchester. This place is located east of the Bird Road Arts District where Lincoln's Bear Brewery is located (that area). Thorn is in the new MiLime Miami Area. Thorn is beautiful and their food is awesome. The cocktails are one of a kind. This place is great for having cocktails and sharing a dish with friends and family. The service was perfect. Great service. Mia the hostess was wonderful (I think she's the hostess). The bathrooms are just outside and very clean. I really like the concept of having the restrooms outside and not inside the restaurant. Sometimes it's annoying to be seated near a restroom entrance, this won't be the case at Thorn. You need to pay for parking but I'm pretty sure the restaurant validated parking. Just please remember to ask. They have plenty of cocktail options and have a full open bar but their beer selection is pretty limited. Not many beer options. The wings were fire! Lemon Pepper wings were good and looking forward to going back and trying their other flavors. This please is new and clean. I will definitely go back and try other menu items. Firepit Hospitality hit another home run with this place. I have to say it's my absolute favorite. You can have some of their greatest brews, but this place offers a full bar with some pretty increíble cocktails. They're ALL delicious. The food is phenomenal and the service is excellent. I can't recommend the place enough and hesitate to even write this because I don't want it to get packed all the time, but it's absolutely worth the visit. You cannot go wrong here. New place that just opened up on bird road by my office. Came here with the lady and she absolutely loved it. There isn't a restaurant like this as far as the decor goes in Miami. I was just drinking all night trying to get to pound town. The food my girl ordered she really liked but I haven't got to try it yet. I did have the ice cream however, and it was really good. We came in on a Thursday afternoon for happy hour. It's not an easy place to find, not visible from Bird Road. The parking was a challenge, it was completely full at 5:30pm. There were just some spots at the post office. There were no tables available, or seats available at the bar, but the hostess sat us in the ice cream area. She was very friendly. We had the old fashioned, chardonnay, meatball and a dozen oysters. The drinks were good and the oysters were great, so we ordered another dozen as well as the chef fries. We got the second order of oysters and the fries, but were still waiting for the meatball which we originally ordered an hour ago. We had to extend our parking (another $8 for an hour) but finally got our meatball. It was delicious! The fries were very good, too. The guy who brought the food from the kitchen was very friendly. Atmosphere is nice and lively. I recommend going early, beware of parking! read more

Ok, so I came on a Friday and first of all, the music was on point (by on point I mean if you grew up in in Miami and ever went to Prive, you'd be like wait where am I again?) ... excellent repertoire of music. I give this spot a 4.5. My wife and I I came to celebrate with some of her coworkers happy hour. It was a nice place service was good. I sat at the bar with two friends. We ordered the Bulgogi fries and the white pizza along with a bottle of wine. Ambiance was good and we enjoyed the night but the service was terrible. The bartender with the colorful shaved head seems to hate her job and was bothered by us ordering anything. She asked for our food menus back as if we were hoarding them without even asking us what we would like to eat first. If you like your burger well done remind them because they didn't ask and I didn't tell and it was pretty rare but still super delicious and I didn't complain. The drinks were great. I had "they call me Lola" which was awesome but then I decided to venture out to a drink that has espresso and it was a mistake. I absolutely love this place! So grateful that we now have a beautiful cocktail bar in our area and don't have to drive far away anymore! Everything I have tried has been delicious but my favorites are the wedge salad and the meatballs! For drinks, Lola & Sunset Dreams are my go to! So good! I also LOVE their bread pudding dessert! Can't say I'm still a fan :(. Unfortunately, went by for a late lunch today and the only occupied space was the bar. We were offered only high top tables or a couch with a low table where it's a bit challenging to eat a big meal. They mentioned low tables are being reserved now for only big groups. This is not ideal for people that prefer lower tables or have difficulties with high tops/very low tables. I would strongly encourage a rethink on this policy! and make all height tables/ areas accessible to patrons or add more options...especially if they may have physical impairments they do not want to disclose. Beware of parking situation. I like this bar, good drinks and food and good service. However, and I realize this is beyond their control, feel like if you go over by a minute the parking people are waiting to give you a $55 ticket. Restaurant does validate for 3 hours, last time we were there we left when the restaurant closed. My parking expired at 12:32 and at 12:40 got a ticket.
