This place is very spacious. It had outdoor and indoor seating. The food is pretty good as well. I had the burger with fries and their ranch was pretty amazing. Service was good.. but i gotta say. We went at night and it does get packed. So when my husband wanted another drink, he had to wait in a long line and it took forever. His food was cold when he came back. There was only one person as cashier. I think when they're packed, they should have one line for food orders and one for just drinks. That'll be much faster and convenient for people already eating. Also, the games looked really dirty. Didn't want to touch any of it. read more

This place is definitely hidden a bit but I stumbled on this place randomly because they are next door to a pottery studio. Was I glad I found this place, the food is no joke. You can smell the rendered beef fat upon arrival and that already is a sign it's going to be good. We ordered one drink which I am told was very good as far as alcohol. The burger was a smash style burger so it's thinner and has more crispy edges. I personally love that style of burger and it's so good. It's very juicy still even though it's thin. The fries are good but the burger is the star. Would definitely come back to try their BBQ. I didn't love that the only soda options are the like cane sugar which is good but I do love a good coke a cola with my burger but other than that this place is tasty. It's not cheap and this burger will run you a little more than an average joint but it's definitely worth the splurge. They have lots of long tables and it looks like they do reservations. I also will say it's not vegetarian friendly if you plan on bringing someone who is. They cook I believe all the fried items even fries in beef tallow. Great spot and parking on site but it's not a large lot so beware for a busy night. Looks deceive you as you walk in with only one table inside. But they have an upstairs and back patio area. Awesome service as you first walk in. We had the American Burger and tots (they ran out of fries ) but both were delicious. I will be back to try the fries as well. The lager beer was really good as was the michelada. I reserved a few tables for my birthday celebration at Thompson Brewing. Working with Martha the reservations coordinator was great. She was very helpful and responsive. She was patient with me and answered all of my questions with pleasure. I requested for tables outside and requested to be next to heaters, which is exactly what I got. Upon arrival they offered to hold my cupcakes in the back until I was ready to distribute them. I ordered food from their catering menu which came out very quick. I was assisted by the social media manager (I believe this is her title) and she was very sweet and helpful. Overall my experience was great. read more

We have been coming here since their opening. The customer service is always superb! The menu has evolved a bit since their opening and let me tell you it has some of the best offerings around. We have come to the conclusion that if you like French fries this is the #1 best place for them. I will often order something different each visit and have nearly completed their menu and everything has been a hit. And I am not even a drinker but I am told from friends and family that you can't go wrong with their brews either. Came in just before closing. Last day of my Groupon. Every beer I had was warm. Their excuse was the weather is hot outside. For what you get for the price, the hamburgers are expensive. A small burger with brisket gravy and fries was over $20. That's what I was charged. Too many other places to choose from. Last week, we took our first trip to the Thompson Brewery with some friends. While the venue is a bit snug, the quality of their beer and food more than compensates for it. The service was good too. Great staff, extremely tried and very welcoming. They truly made our first visit a great experience! Food was really good and came out perfect and quickly. Drinks really knocked it out of the park. I had a lemon seltzer and it was better than what I can buy from a store. The ONLY thing I would say (and this is just because of my diet) I wish they'd offer fried foods in normal oil, and not beef. It didn't take long to formulate an understanding that this visit would be the first of many more to come. It's located in an unassuming building, looking more like Dunder Mifflin than a place to drink and eat. But when entered, its true identity is realized. The place is massive. Seating to the left, seating upstairs, seating in back by the brewery, and outside seating in the back back. Very well organized with walk-up service. Choose a brew, or a flight of brews from an extensive list of beers. I had a White Ale, and then another a few minutes later. It's served as you order. If you're so inclined, you can move on down the line to order food....which I highly recommend. Do I ever recommend it! Everything we ordered was a hit. The Brisket sandwich a hit, as was the Brisket Mac and Cheese. But the homerun was the little cup of bbq pork beans that was served with my Brisket sandwich. They were the absolute best beans that I have ever had. I've been on this earth for almost 65 years and never have I tasted such a delicacy. Judge for yourselves, and you'll see that I'm not exaggerating. Bring the family. There are numerous opportunities for the kids to explore and enjoy....grown up kids too! We were aroma the Tyler Mall area rubbing some errands and thought early lunch and we wanted to try out Thompson's Brewery. Location is not in a retail strip mall but rather an industrial building luckily it's not difficult to spot from the road. They're obviously known for their craft beers but their food menus have a lot of cool food items. You can get German style pretzels!!! My son ordered chicken fried steak, our two girls ordered the tater tot breakfast, wife got mozzarella sticks with the house ranch (I'm not a huge fan of ranch dressing but this is packed with spices and flavor). I ordered the Pub burger. My burger was encased in this gorgeous pretzel bun and the layers of flavor from the pickled onions to this creamy sauce made it for a four napkin meal. This burger was stacked pretty high i had to unhinge my jaw just to get a bite in. Staff is chill and friendly and you can from what i saw little tasters of their craft beers. If you're over by Tyler Mall and don't want mail food or corporate chain restaurants it's only a few minutes away and i guarantee you it'll be better than those places. read more

I came during brunch hours to try their chicken fried steak with gravy and was bummed to find out they were completely out of gravy and not offering the dish I came for. That's okay though, it just tells me that the gravy is so good it sold out and I'll have to come back another time for it. So, I had the award winning Pub Burger instead with American cheese, garlic aioli, dill pickles, tomato, lettuce, pickled red onion, and smoked bacon on a pretzel bun with fries. The burger stole the show and was the stand out dish from everything I ordered. The garlic aioli was so good and worked with everything on the burger while the meat and pretzel bun flavor combinations resonated in your mouth. Not only was the burger awesome, the fries were great as well. They were hot, fresh, crispy and absolutely fire when dipped in their ranch sauce. I would hands down come back just for this burger and fries. I can't say as much for the brisket sandwich with white onion, dill pickles and BBQ sauce or the Brisket Mac 'n Cheese. The brisket sandwich was small for $14.50. I can get an entire pound of brisket at Gram's BBQ for $15, so I was surprised at the very small portion. Not only was it small, it was extremely greasy/oily. When I picked the sandwich up and squeezed it to take a bite about six drops of grease dropped out of it and there was grease all over my fingers. The brisket mac 'n cheese was okay, but a little confused in my opinion. It was topped with BBQ sauce, green onion and sour cream. Why did it have BBQ sauce and sour cream? I'd expect green onion and sour cream on a potatoe dish, not mac 'n cheese. The sour cream wasn't bad, it just didn't add anything to the brisket or cheese flavor. To end on a high note, they had an excellent selection of craft beers and my friend highly recommended the tangerine beer. All in all, I'll be back another time to try the pulled pork sandwich and craft burger. read more
