Tried it for the first time and ordered the "High Steaks." The pizza dough was tasteless and flat similar to frozen pizza dough. Ugh!

Ordered delivery from This Guy's for the first time. The Phoenix Pizza was okay. Toppings were generous. It's sprinkled with 'Magic dust' that was mostly salt. Crust was good. Mac & Cheese Bites are nothing to write home about, but came with a decent Ranch dip. My grandson ordered the Fried Pickle Burger and I asked for the 'Level Up sauce' on the side in case he didn't like it. They put it on the burger and - you guessed it - he didn't like it. So I paid $9 for him to eat fries. Some of the other pizzas sound pretty good so we might give it another try. But there are so many good pizza places in the area.... it might be a while. Update: i ordered again. The pizza is delicious. I was just mad about the deconstructed pesto last time. Defiantly will order again. Don't order the "deconstructed pesto" if you want pizza with pesto. It doesn't have pesto. When I called to ask if I got the wrong pizza the lady who answered acted like I was stupid for assuming off the title of the pizza and the pictures that there would be pesto. I also asked for an extra side of pesto. I'm sorry but that's deceiving and the attitude was unnecessary. My other pizza was good. I'd never get delivery again but I'd go in person- so I could ask a million questions because obviously the menu and photos are deceiving. read more

Ordered 2 small pizzas and 1 medium pizza. One small was over cooked, one was cooked ok, and the medium was under cooked and missing ordered toppings. Waited 1 hour and 20 mins for delivery. Horrible experience. Will never order again! read more

I visited this spot again because the wings got great reviews. I happened to order the "buff-a-que" wings because I wanted heat and sweet. The wings them selves were ehhh, I would say ok- A bit overcooked (probably fried for 2 minutes over). One thing I can say is the price, service and quantity were great! (I guess thats 3 things =). Order their fries as well, fantastic! Don't get me started on the blue-cheese, also great. The common theme here is the service, and the value. I bought the half off deal through yelp (I don't know how these folks make money because they also have 3$ lunch specials) but they still treated me like a king! "This guy" behind the counter was great and when I was done eating he even asked "how was it?" That to me means he actually cares about your experience un like other establishments. The only reason I give the update 4 stars instead of 5 (like the first time) is because again the wings were a tiny bit over cooked but otherwise everything else was perfect! I am a regular customer to this pizza place but I don't know what happened . I literally just bought my pizza couple of minutes ago and when I took a bite I instantly became upset . This time the pizza was undercooked and the sauce was sweet I do not like sweet sauce , and I was never served with a sweet sauce or undercooked pizza. I have been trying all these new pizza places, because of the Pizza passport I bought. After trying this third pizza joint in Johnston, I can say that I am not big fan of This guys' pizza....the cheese did not taste premium and the chicken was bland. The crust was done, but it had a bit of a chewy/gooey taste that I was not expecting. I guess in Johnston of all the pizza places I've tried ......I like Luigi's best. I live in Providence and I believe we have a much better selection and quality in downtown. read more

Two words - onion dippers. So crispy and worth all the fried calories. The sauce compliments them well and isn't overwhelming. First time ordering from here I ordered the high steak pizza . The pizza had roasted red peppers baby spinach garlic shaved steak and cheese with balsamic glaze. I used to get pizza from here all the time...but after today I won't be!...it took them an hour and a half to deliver a small cheese pizza....and when I finally got it was TERRIBLE!!...looked like they turned the box upside down, the cheese had slid off the pizza and was all in the corner of the box.....unacceptable!!! Omg!! This place!!! The pizza was very, very good IDK what to say but it was very hearty to me.. ohhh can't forget the onion dippers they are bomb!! You cannot eat just one. I was a little disappointed on the wings I thought it was the hottest, but it was just very mild.. But thats okay tho, that kids loves the wings. I work from home and This Guys is my favorite place to order lunch from! :) Order is always correct, food is always piping hot, and they never make me wait too long for my food! Fast delivery! Mac and cheese bites were creamy and the breading didn't taste like old oil which is always a plus with this kind of appetizer. I had the Frenchman's chicken sandwich with ham and Swiss. It was very good accept for the underside of the bun which was quite soggy unfortunately but that's take out for you. Baked potato pizza is insane. Bacon, French fries, and cheese served with cups of sour cream. So addictive. Good salads and sides too. Their regular pizzas are solid, and service has been good. As a local pizza spot they're hard to beat. read more

When I first moved to this area I figured that I'd give this place a try since it was local. The first time I ordered the pizza was 'decent' it wasn't horrible but it wasn't amazing either! The delivery also took quite a long time! Like this is Johnston it takes no longer than 15 minutes to drive from one side of the town to the other. Especially since they said 45 minutes! For some reason I decided to give them another try- but this time it was even worse. We asked for the pizza 'well done' and it somehow came out very under some!We also had ordered a couple appetizers. We got buffalo wings instead of fingers, and they forgot one of the appetizers that we ordered- they also forgot our soda. He said he was on our way to bring it back- but he never came. The pizza was ok- but the service was not too good so I probably won't be ordering from them anymore! read more

Hadn't ordered from here in years, but the hubby reported remembering the wings to be good. We ordered a medium pepperoni and 10 piece buffalo wings. Pizza was good. Old school, thick crust pizza. Buffalo wings were very crispy and hot sauce was very good. Only complaint is that I wish there was more sauce on the wings. Ladies and gentleman, customer service does in fact still exist! Tonight I placed an order on GrubHub for a pizza. What arrived was different than what was described on GrubHub. I gave them a call and it turns out it was mislabeled online. So they let me keep that pizza (which was delicious) and made me a fresh pizza of the one that I thought I ordered and delivered at no charge. This was an hour before the patriots championship game so they were super slammed. One of the guys who worked in the kitchen is who delivered it to me because they were so busy. Everybody was apologetic and very nice. The girl on the phone when I called was very nice and rectified it within seconds. I love these guys. Give them a call, their pizza rules! read more

It takes guts to open a pizza shop between 2 well established pizza places (Rosa Mia, D'Palmeiri's), but This Guys really sets themselves apart from the pack. I was astonished at how good the pizza was that I ordered. A large cheese/pepperoni for under 12 bucks, loaded with the toppings and plenty of sauce that was very delicious. I'm a little leary about trying different pizza places. I tend to stick with what I know. I'm so glad I tried This Guys! This will be my go-to place for good eats! read more

I will say that I only tried the pizza here, so perhaps my rating would be higher otherwise. I ordered a sausage, bacon, and mushroom pizza and ate in the store. It was mediocre -- certainly not terrible, but definitely nothing too impressive. The person at the counter was also cooking, which I found impressive. He was courteous and attentive, despite being a one man show. I'll give this place another chance, but probably won't make it a regular spot. read more

This is my favorite pizza shop. The friendly staff make you feel like family. From classic pepperoni to deluxe 2 Thumbs Up pizza like Crown Jewel (fresh mushrooms, onions, grilled chicken, cheese, feta, fresh basil all drizzled with a balsamic glaze) their pizza is the best! When I serve their pizza to family and friends, everyone wants to know where I got it. If you like appetizers, try their F.O.T.B pork wings, which are lean, tender, and tasty. Definitely worth checking out! We found a recommendation for their wings so that's what brought us in. We ordered several appetizers and just put together a variety of things to eat. Two big thumbs up for the wings. They were crispy and just saucy enough. We really enjoyed the wings! The mac & cheese bites were lack luster. They seemed previously frozen then deep-fried. I think the chef could probably make them homemade and do a better job. The wake up tater twists were delicious! Thick cut spiraled potatoes with bacon and drizzled with a dressing! Definitely a must have! They have a decent beer menu (I like craft beer). We finished off with dough girl bites. They were thin and crispy but I feel like they needed something to dip them in. Some kind of sauce needs to go with it because they were dry by themselves. Looking around the atmosphere is fun! They have several posters for activities and events that they hold on different nights of the week. Seems like it could be a good vibe if you catch them on and event night. Sasha was our waitress and we liked her. Answered questions, was attentive, not overbearing. Solid staff from what we could see. Checked in with Yelp and got 15% off our bill!
