I'd read the reviews before and decided to try it tonight. I ordered a large pizza with extra red sauce, olives, mushrooms, and onions, a sandwich, and cinnamon/sugar dough girl dessert. Someone called me from the restaurant to clarify my order, and to tell me that the order might be a little later because of the weather. It was a really nice gesture, and I really appreciated it. I definitely give them 5 stars for service and friendliness. My order arrived on time despite the snowy weather and the guy was really nice. Unfortunately, my pizza had very little sauce and heavy cheese. I purposely ordered extra sauce, so I was particularly disappointed to find almost none. I was starving so I removed a lot of the cheese, but was left with plain crust. The veggies stuck to the thick layer of cheese and I couldn't separate them from it. I love the pizza. The cheese they use is great. Very flavorful. My only complaint is the delivery driver having my hot food mixed with my salad. Keep cold food separate. It should not be in with the hot moz sticks, nor in the hot delivery bag. Put the moz sticks in the bag with the pizza and the salad separate. Hot food hot, cold food cold. That being said. Have ordered a few times here before and was always very happy with it. Haven't ordered in a few months, decided to revisit tonight. I orders an extra large cheese pizza and a large steak and cheese sandwich. The steak and cheese sandwich was a heavy portion of steak which was nice, but the bread was so soggy it couldn't hold anything together. The pizza was the real disappointment tonight. The dough was not how I remembered it at all. I have had pizza nights at home using store bought premade dough and tonight's pizza tasted the exact same. My husband and I were looking for a new pizza place to try and decided to try this place out today ! Overall the food was pretty good. We ordered a large cheese & roni 1/2 black olives well done and surprisingly they actually cooked it well done! (Most places ignore us when we ask) the buffalo wings were your typical wing and the garlic cheesey bread was a win. I'd give it 5 stars but they wouldn't deliver to us and we only live 4 miles away in the same town which was kinda weird so we had to pick it up ourselves. read more

We just enjoyed a regular crust pizza topped with olives and onions. I would rate it very good. Just a little under cooked, but that is probably because I asked for extra sauce. That will also make it just right for reheating in the toaster oven, so it's all good. The buffalo wings were also very good. The mild sauce has just the right amount of zing for me. This place has great food, but for the life of me, I can't understand why they won't put the sauce on the chicken tenders. I state it in the description and order it with sauce on the chicken tenders. This drives me nuts, why can't they read the request and make the tenders the way the customer wants it. Updating my review: Not really sure what to think. Even though I've been ordering from this place for a while (see my other review which was itself after ordering from here a few times) they have never tried to overcharge me for anything. One of the reasons I like them so much is that they let you have up to SIX toppings on a pizza for 8.99. And I've got this same thing almost EVERY time I've ordered from them, for countless times at this point. Today, someone called me and told me that any extra toppings were going to charge me, and that my 8.99 pizza's charge went up by OVER FIVE DOLLARS. I don't know if this was someone hopelessly new, or that maybe they were trying something shady, but come on. Even if it was a mistake, your employee doesn't know your menu to the point where they nearly overcharge me more than FIVE dollars? Like that's not a tiny discrepancy in today's economy anymore! This Guy's Pizza? IT ROCKS! I ordered from these guys for the first time last night, and it definitely won't be my last. Their delivery service is awesome. Very friendly and they know how to make a newbie feel welcome for a first time taste test. I had heard about these guys from a couple friends and since it's near my house I thought I'd see what the buzz was about, and the buzz was loud and clear. They have a fairly good sized menu and they make their own dough and sauces, another plus. Free delivery?? Hell yeah! I ordered a medium cheese pizza, chicken wings, and an order of their dough boy crisps. The pizza was really good, the crust was crunchy and the dough wasn't bland at all, like most places these days and, most importantly, the cheese was nice and gooey just how I like it. The pizza earns an A. The wings...these babies need a standing ovation, and I'm serious about that. This Guy's Pizza has probably the most BOMB chicken wings I've ever had in this whole state so far. The wing itself was so crunchy and crispy, unlike most places where the wings are soggy, and the chicken was juicy and tender...oh man...I think I need a moment here....you've just gotta experience this for yourself, and may I suggest ordering a side of their specialty sauce, The Frenchman (NOTE: this sauce is NOT French dip, just because it says French it's not French! :P) which is a combination of honey mustard and garlic. So good! The wings get an A+++++++++++ x100! As for the dough boy crisps, those were great also. They asked if we wanted regular sugar or cinnamon, but the regular sugar is just fine. They're only $2.99 but don't let that price fool you because they give you PLENTY for that price. A half a brown bag full! Those babies get an A+++ for sure, they taste like real mini doughboys. I love this place. I spoke so highly of it on another site that I was accused of being affiliated with it! Well, I am not, I just really dig it. The owner is super nice, the place is clean, and the food definitely won me over here in Johnston. It took me awhile to find a go-to pizza spot and this is it. Free delivery too, can't beat that with a stick. I've only tried one of their pizzas, and even though I keep saying I'm going to try another one I just can't bring myself to miss out on the buff a que. (It inspired us to dip everything in our own BBQ/hot sauce mixture.. marinate chicken, throw on grill, lick your hands, but anyway..) The pizza is not greasy which is huge for me. Granted I love me a slice of greasy NY pizza every now and then but for a delivered pie, and especially when I'm watching my weight, I love the non-gross feeling after eating this. The cheese and crust are great, my only recommendation would be to put a little more sauce on it. The buffalo wings? Oh man. I don't know why they are so damn good but they are, I love that they are not soggy. My last order came with a bag of dough boy crisps, and we could not stop eating them! I've also ordered a cheesesteak sandwich from here and I inhaled it. The only thing we've gotten that wasn't so great were the fries, they came soggy but the owner said he is looking for a better way to transport them to avoid that from happening. They should also offer a grilled chicken and buffalo chicken salad. They will add some chicken if you ask but it's such a staple on any menu that I'm surprised it's not just on there! so after being a loyal customer for 2 years, I've reached my breaking point. Food WAS amazing when i first found this place, but the past 6 months have really put a damper on my feelings toward this place. Don't tell me my order will be here in 30mins and an hour goes by with no courtesy call. Now when the food arrives it is just terrible. Steak and cheese was cold, cheese was even more congealed than the cold mozz. sticks. Never mind the fact that the salad was missing half of the ingredients and came with no dressing. And the time before the salad came with pickles? Like i said I've been coming for the past two years! and not once did i ever have pickles in the salad before. It was disgusting to taste. Horrible experience. I called in for an order, paid and patiently waited for one and a half hours. When I called back I was told they don't deliver to my area (15 minutes away) and that they tried calling me back. I received absolutely no phone calles from them. They said they refunded me but will take up to 24 hours. If I don't get the refund I will be even more pissed at this company. read more

Love this restaurant but we ordered French Fries today among other things, the delivery driver did not bring the order (which is understandable during the busy lunch hour) so she told us she would bring them right back, we had a second tip ready for her return but she didn't show, when we called about the order they told us we did not order them (we did) so I replied that I would happily pay for them but now they are trying to beat us up for a $10 minimum, so I informed him that we already payed the $35 order and left a tip for the driver, Justin on the phone was not happy about this and said he did not care if we got the order or not and hung up the phone angrily. Again it's a great restaurant, family owned, just unclear as to why they would give such a hassle to paying customers. read more
