A bit of small town, with some Very fun big town items. Stopped by here en route to picking my mom up from NorCal and thought this place seemed like a nice hometown feeling place, and I was right. Super hospitable staff, very Americana guests (farmers, cowboy looking folk), and a nostalgia of Christianity sprinkled around. And it was very nice. The Waffle Spot, which is only open for breakfast and lunch, has your staple of items waffles (of course), sandwiches and chiliquilles this Spot has fancy takes on hometown staples. After a cup of what I would call the world's best cup of coffee, we dug into the lunch. After a filling meal I felt satisfied and marked my yelp to eat back here on the way back down to LA. If you're in the area and are looking for a great breakfast and a bit of Americana then stop by the Waffle Spot for a bit of fried goodness and something new for lunch. Enjoy!

First time here. I kind of expected better. I ordered a burger. It was good. I did not like the French fries. They weren't completely cooked. I don't like mushy fries. Hubby got a chili verde omelette. He said it was "ok". The waitress was not very attentive. Only have Coke products . I did like that they give you a carafe of coffee so you don't have to ask for refills all the time! I think it was probably a cute place at one time. Could use an overhaul. I'm willing to try again.

The best waffle I've ever had, but you'd expect it from a place called waffle spot. I had the waffle with fresh strawberries. I asked because the picture had the glazed type, which typically is too sweet. They did not include the glaze. The waffle had a nice flavor and bite to them. I know where to go next time I'm up in the area. Please bring waffle spot down to my town.

This place is amazing! The servers were all very kind and got us seated and served quickly even though they were busy. My wife loved the chicken wrap and the peanut butter banana waffles were a great recommendation. When you walk in it gives an old diner and grandmas kitchen combined vibe to make for a very homey atmosphere.

Our delicious breakfasts. Strawberry Waffle Combo, and Peanut Butter Banana Waffle Combo. YUM YUM YUM!

Bf and I wanted some breakfast. We've never been to this establishment before, so we decided to go. I had just gotten off a graveyard shift, so I was pretty much a zombie when I came in. That didn't stop me from devouring the amazing strawberry waffles that I had! The only drawback was that there was a bit too much strawberry syrup on the waffles. My bf however, didn't have any complaints. He loved his peanut butter banana waffles. He also loved that his fried egg was fried right. We both had the combos with our waffles, which includes eggs however you'd like, along with bacon or sausage for a meat. Overall, the food was delicious and tasty. The restaurant itself is cozy, it felt like I was dining in someone's cute kitchen/dining room with a homey set up. The service was also great-the waiter was fast and friendly. I didn't get her name, but she made the whole experience pleasant.

Friendly staff and good food. Great reward after running a 5k run. Waffles were delicious.

I have been to other brunch spots that use strawberry jam for the strawberry waffles but the fact these were fresh made the overall waffle soooo yummy. Waffle was also not dense or super crispy, which I really liked. The whipped cream also tasted home made, im not sure but it makes this place stand out. I enjoyed eating here and the service as well made this experience pleasurable.

The server was very nice and helpful, we were first timers. Food was fresh and hot. A classic style diner with some Latin fusion. We had Chilequiles and the no meat platter (potatoes, eggs, and waffle). The Chilequiles was not spicy to me. The flavors were really good.

Instead, I went with the Ribeye Plate cooked well done, and I have to say, the cook absolutely nailed it. Place had a fun farm theme, from the exterior red barn style architecture, to the barn doors between the dining area and booths, and the all American decor. It was very packed for a Friday morning but we were able to get seated within a few minutes and our server had great hospitality. And when I say... the portions here are GENEROUS - believe me! I couldn't believe how much food you get for your order, and the best part is, every bite hit. I decided to veer out of what I typically get for breakfast and did a lil sweet and savory moment and got the stuffed French toast with a sweet cream cheese filling and strawberry topping, and it came with 2 eggs of your choice, potato of choice, and either bacon or sausage. Bacon had the perfect amount of crisp, I asked for my hash browns extra crispy and they hit it on the nose. My partner got a bacon cheese burger. Bun was toasted, patty was flavorful, bacon was bussin, and he said they don't seem to skimp out at all on the fries! Price was very very reasonable for the portions, about $45 for this- my partner is from the Bay Area and so he's used to this quality of food and portions to be $$$$$$ and he even said this was such a deal! Family friendly place for sure, employees are super attentive, and left satisfied with the meal and service. If you're in town, or even passing through, this is the place to check out for breakfast.

I can think of 6 in the past 14 years since I've lived in the area that have come and gone... from classy Italian to authentic Peruvian, a small bar and an evening patio scene to a breakfast only place, the a couple waffle shops, and now... let's talk about Branch. Immediately I noticed how clean the place was. Simple, smelled nice and spotless! Hey this is a huge improvement already. The crowd was thick, we waited 20-30 minutes on a Saturday at 10:00am. That's a good thing. Once we sat down, we were asked what we wanted for drinks. And a minute later another waiter asked us if we would like to order drinks , then a 3rd... seconds before the drinks were brought out. Lol I ordered the breakfast sandwich, served with potatoes or hash browns and asked the waitress what she recommended... my daughter was getting hashbrowns with her meal already and the young lady suggested the potatoes and so I took her suggestion. Let me tell you this, that sandwich which is probably one of the most common things on a breakfast menu anywhere, came out so unique and interesting to me that I must highly recommend it. The toasted bread was like a spicy garlic sourdough that was strong and powerful. The spice was right for me and I even asked for the sriracha sauce on the side. The bacon was thick and plenty, the eggs perfectly scrambled, and the potatoes were delicious and so were my daughter's hashbrowns by the way. I loved my breakfast sandwich and also ate half my Mom's Reuben sandwich which was just loaded with corned beef!! So I asked the waitress who owned the restaurant wanting to know if local, and she smiles and says, "well, I am!" I complimented her and wished her my best and let her know that we would be back. I hope it catches on.

They randomly added sweet chili sauce to the sandwich. It wasn't listed on the description. It wasn't bad, I was just thrown off a bit--I wasn't looking for pizzazz. (3/5) Pb&J French toast: delicious! They really did their big one with this. The peanut butter was salty enough to balance all the sweetness this dish offered. No complaints (5/5) Jalapeño breakfast poppers: so good! This alone would have me back again. (5/5) Overall 4 stars. Will definitely come back to try again. Maybe I just got the wrong thing.

Courteous, friendly, and moving with the speed and precision of a NASCAR pit crew--yet every sandwich comes out looking like it's ready for its Instagram close-up.
