Lychee love martini
Natasha H.

This is our new favorite neighborhood spot!! This is such a cute and chic ambiance with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We made a reservation on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. The outdoor area is covered, has TVs and fire places and cozy cushions to sit on. Our server recommended the crispy cauliflower which was my favorite thing by far, who knew crispy cauliflower could be SO good!! I also got the crispy rice which was pretty good. My lychee love martini was also delicious, it was perfectly sweet and tasty. I got the steak frites with truffle fries, the steak was pretty chewy unfortunately, but the fries were so yummy. We didn't have room for dessert but everything looked great we'll have to come back for more! Our server was also incredible unfortunately I don't remember her name but she was awesome! My fiancé got the chicken Parm, which was pretty good too.

I submitted an email to corporate on this and never heard back therefore they are ignoring the issue

Proper Hibiscus
Michael A.

We sat in the outside covered patio area and they had the misters on which was good. My wife got the Proper Hibiscus Soda. She also ordered the Crispy Calamari and Shrimp which was over cooked. I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos which were good but a little dry. The food tasted like it was made, then put back in the fryer to heat it up because the food came out super quick. Unfortunately we will not be going back to this eating establishment.

The Vig is such a vibe as far as the outdoor seating area, lighting, music, all the ambiance but in my experience the food is always super mid no matter which location. We got the fries as an app this time around and the goat cheese dipping sauce was super runny - it barely stayed on the fry. I also got the steak salad which is a more expensive menu item and it had basically no toppings! Like why is this $30 but is missing the majority of the ingredients that give it flavor? Also the drinks are fine but nothing that will knock your socks off. For a relatively decent menu on paper, I wish the food tasted better. I will say that our server was awesome! And again they have the cutest restaurants to meet friends and hang out at across the valley, just don't expect great food

Brussels Sprouts
Derek K.

The place is gorgeous, don't get me wrong. The service was quite friendly though ours was a little preoccupied. Our food was very good except the Brussels were salted like they came from the bottom of a nut container, meaning wayyyy too much. I'll go again and try something else but as my first experience I hoped for a bit better.

Happy hour!

I've been wanting to check out the Vig for a while now and finally made it there on Saturday for some apps and wine. I was going to try to go there the weekend before but it was raining pretty hard and I wasn't sure if they actually had an inside -- a friend had told me it was mainly an outdoor patio. Well I am happy to report they do have a small inside area for dining and a bar as well (mental note for the future!!) Since it was a gorgeous November day, we opted for the patio -- we were there during brunch but we just wanted apps and wine. Steve was our waiter and was very attentive and helpful! We wanted fries but couldn't decide between the regular or the sweet potato fries and he suggested half and half! Great idea -- plus we got the guac and chips and some delightful Rose. The patio is a total vibe and the brunch menu looked small but mighty! I even confirmed for a future visit that their buttermilk pancakes come with real maple syrup -- so I will definitely be back for that. They also had a really nice looking wine selection which is good to note as well! I will definitely be returning to try both dinner and their brunch!!

Mac & Cheese and burger on gluten free bun isn't

I'm a lover of The Vig - this was my first time at this location. It is maybe my favorite in terms of the design and layout, where the outside is absolutely beautiful, but it's still covered above so you're immune to some of the weather still. Yet we were seated inside sad! It was freezing. And it wasn't cold outside ... but it was freezing inside. We were at a booth so we could sit side by side which we love. My boyfriend got the chicken and mac and cheese and we were both shocked at how large it was! He loved it. I love how you can make substitutions - I got a burger but with a veggie burger on a gluten free bun, with guacamole and chipotle aioli, caramelized onions, candied jalepenos, and cheese. Very yummy! The gf bun isn't my absolute favorite, it's slightly crumbly and dry, but it's not half bad and I love the option of it. Lots of flavors in there, and filling! I had it with sweet potato fries and it came with a BBQ sauce that was so good! Good service, we hung out for a few hours

Gretchen! This review is for Gretchen and her phenomenal service! Best server experience I've ever had! She was warm, knowledgeable, gave AMAZING recommendations, and made sure our night flowed smoothly! I hadn't been to this location yet, but I am no stranger to the Vig chain of restaurants. I've spent many hours in my young adult life, enjoying hangs at various Vig locations, including my wedding reception almost 10 years ago. Deep, core memories have been had at the Vigs! I love that there's now one even closer to me! All the food was good! Those nachos were to die for! But the drinks! Thanks to Gretchen's expertise we were all introduced to orange with cinnamon to go along with the tequila and I will be doing this from now on. If you stop in and you have the luxury of Gretchen as your server, ask about her signature drink, you'll be happy you did.

I would not recommend this place. I waited over an hour for a table and was never seated. During that time, the staff were dismissive and didn't acknowledge me or my partner at all. To make matters worse, other guests who arrived after us were seated right away. The experience felt unfair and incredibly frustrating, and at times it even felt like we were being treated differently. Overall, it was a very negative experience. My partner and I simply wanted to enjoy a nice dinner, but we ended up leaving disappointed and unwelcome.

Chopped Chicken Salad

DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT!!! We were greeted and seated out in the patio dining area with no wait. The evening was very pleasant and the patio area made for a comfortable ambiance. Our Server Aleigha arrived with a friendly smile, took out drink order and made the experience over the top. She was friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu and genuinely a pleasure. We started off with the house made salsa and guacamole. The charred tomato salsa is crazy good. The depth of flavor was unmatched by any I've ever eaten. The guacamole was vibrant and very flavorful. For our entree we had the carne asada steak tacos, the chopped grilled chicken salad and the chipotle chicken rigatoni. Most definitely going to be regular guests going forward.

Ooooowee this happy hour deal was fire!! As you can see, we were quite hungry LOL. This location made for a great date outing. The adult happy meal was fire, first of all. Great espresso martini, the espresso was perfectly balanced! Classic delectable Caesar salad, and perfectly paired with addicting truffle fries!! My second favorite was the sliders, sooo flavorful!! Nachos were hella loaded and the pretzels sauces were paired great with it! Also got a dirty Tito's martini, it was cool! Overall service was great when we first arrived, not busy at all, but I think we might've gotten overlooked as we chose to sit in the corner booth big table and more guests came and when we were ready to go, it took a second to find our server for the check! Not too bad tho since we were having a chill day, and she was personable, but just makes us a tad hesitant on coming back when it's busier. Good deals though!!

Pineapple Sunrise

We had a great time at The Vig--fantastic drinks, solid food, and stellar service from Tiana, who was both our server and bartender. She was friendly, attentive, and made some excellent cocktails. We started out on the patio, which is a nice spot, but between the humidity and the misters not doing much, we ended up moving inside. Definitely the right move. DRINKS Daily Mule (mezcal, pomegranate liqueur, vanilla) - Super refreshing, well balanced, and lightly sweet. I loved it, but my husband (a traditional mule loyalist) wasn't a fan. Coug Cup (lemon vodka, elderflower, strawberry purée, prosecco) - Kind of like a floral strawberry lemonade. Pleasant, but a little underwhelming overall. Pineapple Sunrise (tequila, pineapple, hibiscus, lime) - Light and slightly sweet. The hibiscus really comes through. Comes with a Tajin rim, but I preferred it without. Blackberry Smash (bourbon, blackberry, lemon, mint) - As someone raised in Tennessee, this one felt like home. Smooth, fruity, and perfect for a southern summer night. This is the grown-up punch at the cookout. Hands down the best drink of the night. I rarely order a second of the same drink because I like to try new ones, but I got a second Blackberry Smash after our meal. FOOD Noble Pretzel - Slightly over baked and had a mild burnt taste to the exterior, but still good. Queso was tasty, but pretty plain. The house mustard was a whole experience--sharp, PUNGENT, slightly sweet. It has a serious kick, in the best way. Vig Burger - Smelled incredible, and I had high hopes, but it didn't quite live up to the aroma. It was juicy, seasoned and cooked well, but the guacamole made it messy, and the flavors didn't fully come together for me. The fries started off fine but got overly salty as we got further into them. Overall, the drinks, service, and ambiance were fantastic. Tiana took great care of us and clearly knows her way around a cocktail shaker. The food was a little underwhelming, but I'll definitely be back to try their brunch--especially if the drinks are anything like what we had at dinner.

Michaela was the best! Her hospitality was on point! She was checking in on us and served us great drinks ! Not to mention her Hugo spritz are 10 out of 10!!! i'd recommend this place just because of how amazing she was !

We sat on the patio which I love, they had misters on and it was fantastic. My only critique is that I hate the bathroom situation. The food options are great too. I ordered the fried chicken after hearing so many good things about it. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown for me. It was super crispy and juicy, but also really salty, which kind of overpowered the flavor. The mac & cheese was pretty basic, but the Matador and breakfast sandwich were both solid choices. And don't forget to check out the ice cream shop next door! They have some really good flavors. Overall, still a great spot for brunch, drinks, and an amazing deal.

We ordered the harissa shrimp and charred cabbage, which were both flavorful and unique. I love ordering things that I wouldn't normally make at home when dining out and both dishes were just that. The harissa shrimp was super flavorful and garlicky. Thankfully it was served with bread or else we would've been licking the plate for the sauce. The charred cabbage is wood roasted with yogurt masala, shallot, romesco and pistachio pesto. My husband was a little iffy about the mention of yogurt masala but was won over after the first bite because all the flavors complement each other so well. Ambiance is great with lots of natural light due to the wall of windows along the street. A train passed by on this rare rainy afternoon, making our experience feel extra cozy. Service was good and it's nice they have both indoor and outdoor seating with windows. Extra bonus is the changing hands bookstore is attached so you can shop your heart out afterwards. The outdoor patio is beautiful, with string lights, a brick fireplace, and surrounding trees that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's a fantastic setting for dinner, especially when the weather is nice. We had quite the spread, including the Chicken Nachitos, Green Chile Cornbread, LGO Short Rib Tacos, Ribeye Tacos, and Green Chile Burger. The nachitos were piled high with chicken, melted cheese, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, and jalapeños. Although they're no longer listed on the current menu, I wanted to include them because they were part of our experience. I actually appreciate how Chelsea's Kitchen changes its menu over time, giving guests something different to look forward to while keeping some familiar favorites. The Green Chile Burger was another standout in presentation, featuring roasted green chiles and melted cheddar, with macaroni and cheese on the side. The short ribs and grilled ribeye came with colorful accompaniments, including guacamole, pico de gallo, and a kale salad. The Green Chile Cornbread was also beautifully presented in a small skillet with a golden crust and butter on the side. We also tried the Brussels Sprout Salad with manchego, almonds, dried fruit, and bacon, which offered a nice contrast to the heartier dishes. The cocktails were thoughtfully presented, and we finished the evening with key lime pie and a refreshing sorbet. Beyond the food, the patio is what makes Chelsea's Kitchen particularly memorable. Between the fireplace, warm lighting, and lively but comfortable atmosphere, it's the kind of place where you can easily spend an entire evening catching up with friends or family. The service here is always amazing and feels like a concierge level service. Overall, Chelsea's Kitchen offers a wonderful combination of Southwestern-inspired dishes, generous portions, and a beautiful outdoor dining experience. I especially appreciate a restaurant that continues evolving its menu rather than keeping everything the same year after year. Definitely a place worth revisiting to see what's new!
