WARNING!!! I'm only giving one star so I can leave this review. We went tonight to celebrate the new year and left early due to an extremely horrible experience. We saw a server give a gentleman a few drinks and say "these drinks may have drugs in them but that's what you asked for!" After alerting the bouncer and management, nothing was done. We watched these drinks be given out and even warned the recipients of the contents. We confronted the server and were told to "Mind our business, this is what was ordered". We once again told management that the rufied drinks had been given out and no one seemed to care. How incredibly sad. This poor, young boy accepted a drink that was obviously drugged by a STAFF MEMBER and no one cared. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! The staff member didn't even try to deny it when we called him out on it. Just told us to mind our own business. Absolutely disgusting. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

We stumbled upon this bar while strolling to old town front Temecula. It was really nice!! Blues live band and this band rocked!!! One of my favorite song from muddy waters, "baby please don't go" they sang it!!! I've gone to numerous blues club and no one , I mean no one has ever sang that, they did!! They were awesome!! Old town Blues Club is a wine bar disguised as an Irish Pub. The area itself is small and is built around the stage which made it very difficult to maneuver on a Friday night. My party of two showed up around 7PM where we found a spot at the condensed bar. The idea that they are trying to present is good however realistically this "Club" is in the wrong town at the wrong place with not so great accommodations. I give them effort for trying though. Walking into the bar they had already set up a decent draft with the standard style of dark and light beers. What I did have an issue towards is that the liquor and wine menu consisted of cheaper brands complimented with Fireball Whiskey as their only choice in hard alcohol. The bartender explained it was to work well with the selection of wines however being a wine bar, they should have some decent alternatives for the people who don't drink wine frequently. It'd be nice to say they would upgraded their experience, lower their prices and widen their selection however it is a new development and I can understand the struggle, especially since the building was meant more for a bar crawl eatery instead of a low/upscale wine bar. read more

SCUMMIEST BAR IVE EVER BEEN!!! Don't go here unless you like to bar fight. Aggressive guys hang here. Almost got in a fight with a guy literally over a chair. Don't know if it's from all the steroids he takes but this guy was mad. Even after I gave over the chair, he was still threatening. Asked me to go outside and fight him two different times. Security pulled me aside and asked what happened but they we're scared to confront him. Either that, or his group are regulars so they just let it slide. Who knows. This bar doesn't actually care about your safety. About 10 mins later, what does security do? Tell US to leave. Like we were the problem. Didn't let us finish our beers. Started shoving us out. Turn my back and security chocked me out for about 2-3 mins. Almost to the point where I passed out of breath. My friends were also forced out in head lock. One a female. They think it's just ok to strangle the crap out of you no matter who you are. I'm sure everyone around us were getting bumped around too cause the place is tiny and cramped. I've seen closets bigger than this dump hole! I've been to many bars in old town and never had issues like this. Management here is horrible. I advise anyone to stay away from lucky pub or whatever the stupid place is called. Tell your friends too please. It's inevitable something bad will happen here. Besides, you wont want to waste your night here regardless of the circumstances. It's a crappy bar filled with scumbags. read more

We came here on a few occasions before but never stayed long do to utterly horrendous sound. Each time we went with the hope of hearing quality music we were disappointed, we hoped it would be better after the recent remodel. The OTBC has expanded but not "improved". To be fair it is larger, better laid out and the house speakers do not point down directly into the vocal microphones like they did before so you would think the sound would be better right?.. Wrong! We hoped for an evening of quality music, mixed properly performed by people with a modicum of professionalism and not the usual over-amplified (to often under-talented) Temecula cover band scene. The sound still sucks and the acts are still as amateur as they come. As the saying goes "you can hope in one hand and defecate in the other and guess which will get filled first". We've no more hope for this place. The owner obviously knows nothing (or just doesn't care) about sound management or music other than it is merely a loud marketing gimmick to drag folks in off the street for an overpriced beer. What makes a place an excellent choice to me: a. location (Old Town Temecula)...- Great b. music - best option for adult music anywhere around town. Usually two bands each day, mostly good blues and classics, including the Stones. c. venue/ambiance - now known as Old Town Blues Club, formally Lucky Stone is an intimate venue. What that means is you are up close with the musicians and it often feels like you are getting front row seats without the expensive fees - can't beat it. d. service/staff/ownership - nothing better than good service and a friendly welcome if you are a regular..or a newbie, after all, if you are going to give someone your business and hard earned money it's good to feel like they appreciate it. Always get that feeling at Old Town Blues Club. Staff and owner Andy and Aide will make you feel like you are old friends, introduce yourself and find out. e. fair pricing - options are beer and wine drinks no hard booze. While some folks complain about the $8 drink prices they probably have not considered they haven't paid a cover charge or fee for the live music and these aren't garage bands. Sure I expect to pay slightly more if I'm not asked to contribute a door charge for music. All the above defines Old Town Blues Club (Lucky Stone) I find it's a unique subset of music lovers that truly enjoy blues and fine music and from my experience they are friendly folks, not loud and boisterous and unruly like a sports bar place. My wife and I are in our 60's and have never had a problem with drunks or unruly types as most blues lovers aren't into that anyway and security is very efficient at Old Town Blues Club (Lucky Stone) . Strangers you meet there will soon be friends if you are friendly...come on out Blues lovers. read more

The place has been nicely remodeled. Has a better stage area for the artists and a good dance space. Only complaint is that they don't serve any food or snacks whatsoever. Suggest they go to Costco and buy large bags of nuts, chips, pretzels and sell by the bowlful or whatever. Otherwise, a nice establishment. read more

Intimate venue with awesome live bands every night! I used to look at the schedule and listen to online demos for the bands I never heard of. Frankly some of the demos were not too good and I almost did not go. But I have learned. Andy, the owner has never booked anything but top notch bands. I can't tell you how many times I have sat there in awe that I am 10 feet away from an extremely talented band while the dance floor is rockin it. This is about customer service. Not about the food, which was pretty tasty. Because of COVID, we didn't get a receipt and we didn't notice they charged us for an item we didn't order until we got home. That happens. No worries. Called they about it. They said they'd take care of it. Nothing. Okay... they forgot. Called once again. Nothing. We were in the area, so stopped by and they said the owner wasn't in yet and they couldn't refund the money without his sign off. ??? Man, it was $10 bucks! She took our number and said it would be taken care of that day. Yeah, right. Zippo. It's not about the money at this point. Not worth anymore effort. It's just $10. They can keep it. Guess they need it more than me. LOL It's just the principle in charging us for something we didn't order and totally blowing us off. Just beware. Get them to show you the totals on those IPads they use. We'll never go back. Service is half the experience, and for us, it was pretty bad. I guess that's why they call it the blues... read more

The music and atmosphere here get 4 or 5 stars. The bar owner on the other hand ruins the atmosphere. Be prepared to visit this bar, start enjoying your night, only to have the overbearing bar owner parent tell you to be careful with your drink while enjoying the music. My mom and I had a girl's night out, and randomly stumbled across Lucky Stone Irish Pub. The location is rather small, which made it loud. However, it was a lot of fun. They offer several beers and wines, and there was a live band, and lots of dancing. From what I experienced (Saturday night) is that it is an older crowd, which was actually refreshing.
