If you're needing a glass of of wine or a snack, there's a twenty minute intermission half way through the festival program. There's plenty of seating and there isn't a bad view in the house.

Last I posted, we regularly had specific instructors out to the venue. The budget for said instructors was cut and now they do not teach here anymore. (2) Food and drink are still mediocre. We usually eat elsewhere in old town if we do eat. (3) It's dirty. Hairballs roll by while dancing like tumbleweeds in the high desert. It is a dance floor and the floor should be taken care of. Instead, my husband and I are constantly kicking things off the floor so no one slips and falls. (Rhinestones, bandaids, fake nails) (4) Things are still broken. Electrical problems, plumbing issues, lockers, broken floor boards that have been broken for years and trip hazards in the cement. Stools and tables broken. The thing that keeps us coming back here are the people. We've seen a lot of turnover over the years but the ones who have stayed long enough (that we have gotten to know) are amazing. It would not be the same place without them. We adore them all and when someone leaves - whether to move on to another place or taking a LOA - we are always so sad to see them go. They make this place fun and inviting (and safe).

I was saddened and disturbed by the treatment we experienced at this establishment. The behavior of the bar staff felt discriminatory and, quite frankly, racist. As someone who has always supported and respected law enforcement, I was equally disappointed by the conduct of the approximately 6-8 Riverside County Sheriff's deputies who responded last night. I want to be very clear: My disappointment is not directed toward the entire Riverside County Sheriff's Department, but specifically toward the officers involved in last night's incident. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect, regardless of their background. We went out to celebrate someone we love, and instead left feeling deeply disappointed by the way the situation was handled. I sincerely hope the establishment and the officers involved reflect on their actions. Respect, fairness, and professionalism should never be optional. No star at all yelp is requesting I put a star as a ranking and if you read this it's - sadly the security staff was heavily responsible for the actions that started this. I always say it comes from the top the owners !
