On Tuesday night the wait was over an hour for a table- I was able to find a seat at the bar- started with the Cobb salad and it didn't seem as fresh as it should have been. They no longer have the ginger pineapple upside cake so I ordered the carrot cake. I visited twice. Food was excellent both times. I was disappointed the fact we couldn't be seated upstairs in the summer time we were there. It will be great if you could. Check with them before you go to see if they are opened upstairs for the day. I never expected this place, so I tell my co-workers about it. Many said the food are great! The vault could work harder to train employees notice when a customer is confused and attempt to fix it before it becomes an issue. If an employee orders something NOT the way it comes on the menu, it would be appreciated if the employee verifies with the customer that will have to pay more for the "special" request. I attempted to order from the $8 lunch menu where it seemed to me you could pick two of either a half sandwich, soup, mac'n'cheese, or a salad. I ordered a sandwich and a side of mac'n'cheese. I specifically stated I wanted the lunch portion. When my food came out it was a full sandwich and mac'n'cheese. Figuring there had been confusion I stated I wanted the lunch portion. He then told me to give him the other half and he would not charge me for it. He would not take the whole plate back and fix it. Instead he came out with another plate and told me to put my sandwich on it. He removed the sandwich. When I got my final ticket it was for $12 and not $8. I explained my confusion. He in a very round about way started talking about the cost of the food. I did not understand what he was stating, but after looking harder at the menu I saw that one of the sides needed to be a soup or salad. However, there were no other prices on the entire menu except for at the top it states $8 lunch. So ok, I was upcharged for getting mac'n'cheese instead of a salad/soup. That would have been fine if he hadn't taken away the other half of my sandwich. I just don't understand why you don't clarify with people if there is going to be an upcharge. I was clearly confused about the menu and he could have noticed and made sure I knew what I was ordering. Also, WHY was I still charged the full price of the sandwich if he took away my other half? I do not know. But I would not recommend this restaurant. I felt like they cared more about making that $4 than with my satisfaction with my meal or my experience. My mac'n'cheese was also tasteless, but the Veggie sandwich I ordered was good. Will not return. read more

We hosted a private event at The Vault on June 22nd, 2019 for a second wedding reception with dear friends and family. The Vault was the PERFECT venue for us and our guests. We had a large party, with kids, and the staff was excellent, patient, professional and accommodating. Kevin, Paul, Kiley and Kate took care of us from the moment we arrived. They were all so kind and welcoming, checking in on us and going above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect! We love the Vault, we love the staff and the food was phenomenal as always. Have wanted to try for a long time. Wish I hadn't waited so long. Excellent food in a cool, unique spot, and easy parking for downtown. We went for lunch and my party had the following -- Bbq chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese, Clipper Ship Chicken, soup du jour (Loaded baked potato), tomato bisque, and grilled cheese. All was very good and extremely fresh. Friendly service. Looking forward to going back for dinner and saving room for dessert. read more

We have utilized the TomTom room at the Vault four times now for private dining meetings. The service and food has been consistently excellent from every point of contact. Our "usual" server is Larkin, and he always takes great care of us and takes great care to not disturb the meeting while giving great service. The retro atmosphere and the food are outstanding. The Vault could become a unique Tulsa tradition. I know the Vault is under excellent ownership, having become a big fan of Elote. However the service we received today was a major disappointment. We were a group of 8 coworkers, out to enjoy a rare treat. Unfortunately our waiter acted bothered by us from the beginning. When a server accidentally poured water into my coworker's ginger-mint drink, the waiter wanted to charge us for a replacement. When we objected, he took the glass and brought back a partially-filled glass, no kidding. The same waiter rolled his eyes at another co-worker asked for two of the dressings on the side. We asked to see the manager about the drink, but he did not rectify the situation. My veggie sandwich was extraordinary, but I don't know if I will ever return. read more

Arrived at 8pm on Saturday night. Only four tables occupied yet extremely slow service. Food was average at best which was disappointing based on previous visits for lunch. Tomato bisque was a bowl of chunky marinara or tomato sauce. Previously had tomato bisque at lunch and tonight was totally different and unacceptable - would rather be told we are out than dumping can of chunky tomato sauce in bowl. Vault is in a state of decline. Will not go back anytime soon. read more
