What a fun place; it's white table cloth nice yet a retro environment, and no one was dressed up fancy. It has a low key vibe with a nice atmosphere. Reservations are easy, they have their own (free) parking lot (entrance to the parking lot is right next to the front of the restaurant), the nearby views of downtown are cool, and the live music was fun. You can sit downstairs or upstairs which both have awesome yet different vibes (upstairs had the music when I was there and is the same level as the parking lot). Both floors have their own bar and private restrooms. The menu looks more like a lunch menu to me, but all food was delicious with ample flavor. I had the steak at $30 which was by far the most expensive meal. The steak, veggies, and mashed potatoes all had exquisite flavor. A MUST: The trio bruschetta. It's 4 pieces of three different types of bruschetta (some with mashed avocado). Two of us ate all 12 pieces easily! The Diablo drink was fun - a Moscow mule but with tequila! Tips: If you want a quiet dinner, or want to talk much at dinner, sit downstairs. We were told the upstairs live music would not be too loud, but upstairs is small, and my friend and I could not hear each other at all. I'm sorry but this place was just not that good. I wouldn't go back nor recommend it. I apologize for not having photos. The cocktail special was good. I got the steak frites. They did a good job with the steak, and the fries were good too, but the balsamic glaze and blue cheese on top were so lazy, almost like an afterthought. Then we got the carrot cake for dessert (24 Karat Cake). This was maybe the worst carrot cake I've had in years. Cake part was dense and not cakey at all. Frosting tasted like straight cream cheese, not like cream cheese frosting. Our waitress even tried it and agreed. My friends dishes did not seem any more appealing. Try somewhere else. read more

This is a favorite location for work meetings, as there is a private dining space cut off from the main seating area of the restaurant. The menu selections are vast, and appeasing to almost anyone. The quality of food and drinks are top notch; it's evident quality ingredients are utilized in the meal preparation. The service is usually always good, you may have to ask for refills.The parking can be tricky if it's your first time visiting; just be mindful to go up towards the second deck and you should be able to find ample parking spaces. The Vault like most places have done away with traditional straws, so if recycled straws aren't your thing bring your own preferred straw. We had heard good things about the Vault, but just hadn't made it there until last night. We were graciously greeted and seated promptly when we arrived. Drink service was efficient. We had one vegetarian in our party who had plenty of choices from the varied menu. Everyone else ordered different steak entrees. The quality of ingredients, creative flavors and lovely presentation of every dish was spot on! We shared a Key lime pie and the 24 karat cake for dessert and left very happy. AMAZING! I've gone for brunch and I've gotten dinner to go. Their brunch is great when it comes to the atmosphere and food. Their tofu scramble is great which is hard to do because tofu can get squishy and gross but this one has the texture of actual eggs. I was so surprised how good their food was even getting it to go. The Vault is one of my favorite restaurants/venues. The building was originally built to house a bank in the 50, so the atmosphere/space is super cool. It is also the host of one of my favorite fundraisers each year, the White Party! It's a pretty convenient location even for a small dinner party. The Tom Tom Room on the second floor is the coolest! It adds such an intimate and sophisticated feel to your event. You can even customize a menu for your guests. They don't charge a room rental fee, instead, they have a minimum amount that must be spent on food and beverages. If they haven't changed, for the Tom Tom Room it is $250 throughout the week if it's in the morning, $500 if it's during the evening and $1000-2,500 during the weekend, depending on duration. In terms of food, they use organic/all natural meats as well as fresh vegetables and fruit. Starting with their lunch menu, they have great $8 dollar options. The No2 is always a good choice- any 1/2 sandwich and a cup of soup or side salad with chips or apple slices. I like to get the Grilled Cheese with their Tomato Bisque Soup. The Buffalo Cauliflower Wrap is my favorite though! Vegetarian "wings", avocado, lettuce, local cherry tomatoes, vegan Green Goddess dressing in a spinach tortilla. From their dinner menu, my favorite is the Hearts of Palm Salad - red leaf lettuce, avocado, red onions, hearts of palm and parmesan cheese with coriander vinaigrette. If you want something more hearty, the Vault Pasta is a great choice - rotini, sausage or garbanzo beans, eggplant, spinach, local cherry tomatoes, lemon, garlic, Parmesan & pecans. In terms of drinks, I'm a Paloma kind of gal (tequila with grapefruit and lime juice) but their Fling (sparkling wine topped with syrup - pomegranate is yummy!) is also a favorite. They also have a great brunch over the weekend. If you want something sweet, the French Toast 3 ways is your choice. You get to try three small versions! The first one is the ciabatta with cream cheese frosting & strawberries. The second one is my favorite - sourdough with lemon curd & blueberries. The third one is made for cacao lovers - chocolate bread pudding, candied pecans & caramel sauce. If you want something savory, the Classic Benny is good - honey roasted ham, wilted spinach, poached cage-free eggs & herbed hollandaise on ciabatta with breakfast potatoes. Mimosas are a must, of course... If you're vegan, they have pretty good options for you. Also, if you need catering, they also have a great menu. read more

After exploring the art deco downtown, we had the best food ever in a cool mid century building with excellent service. We had the cauliflower wings for starters then the meatballs with coleslaw and a ham and cheese and pineapple sandwich. And to drink we had a bourbon and basil concoction. Amazing. I went looking online for a good brunch with vegan & vegetarian options and The Vault popped up. My daughter was driving up from Arkansas and I from OKC and we like to meet in Tulsa which is about hallway, depending upon which part of Tulsa we are meeting in. So I found The Vault and it was so good. Their pancake batter is vegan and so yummy. We got the strawberries and Cream but had the cream on the side (that way the non -vegan person could eat it. The pineapple- upside down pancakes were great, with the pineapple grilled. Another person got the sourdough avocado toast and it was stupendous. Honestly, I think I liked it best. One of our group ordered potatoes which were good, but I'm honestly not a potato person. Another person got the smoked zucchini and I could just eat that. They have good prices on mimosas. We recently moved here from California and we're desperately trying to find the good places to dine in Tulsa. I love the vibe of this restaurant, the history and the 50's decor, it reminds us of Palm Springs. Our server was very friendly and attentive she answered all of our questions and offered us the dinner menu as well since it was after 3 pm. We started with two Bloody Mary's and they were good and strong ha!! We ordered the Hearts of Palm and Spinach Dip with toast points. My husband enjoyed this dip but the dip consisted mostly of cream cheese and it needed seasoning. I had only a few bites, knowing the rich dish would upset my stomach. It needed another cheese like Parmesan to balance out the cream cheese and added salt needed. Then we had the Korean Meatballs and Potato Bacon Soup. The meatballs were dry but had good flavor and I absolutely loved the veggie slaw the meatballs came with. The soup was ok, it too needed some pepper, wasn't too flavorful and wasn't very hot. I have never in my life experienced something like what me and my friend experienced there we will NEVER be back. The managers are raciest and treated my friend terribly she didn't like something on the menus ( a salad) and wanted to order a steak instead she hadn't touched it she took a bite it wasn't good they refused to take it off her tab. And she was polite and said it was okay and still ordered the steak. But I can't help but to think it's because she was a women of color. They were just not nice to her it made me feel a certain level of ick I have never experienced in my life before. I'm so disappointed I use to go here all the time. Do you like pancakes, but you're vegan, and also too lazy to make them for yourself? Then have I got great news for you! You can go here and they will make vegan pancakes for you! And get this... you don't even have to bring your own vegan butter to put on those bad mammajammas, because they've got vegan butter right there! They just automatically bring you vegan butter for your delicious vegan pancakes, and maple syrup! A "short stack" of two very large pancakes is $4.99 and a tall stack of three is $6.99, and worth every penny. This is the best place to brunch. If you're a recovering alcoholic like me, while your friends enjoy their mimosas, you can ask any of their wonderful wait staff to whip you up a virgin one with half orange juice, half ginger ale, then just say all the rude things on your mind when your friends are drunk, and pretend you are, too, but with the safety of knowing you're definitely not getting a DUI when you leave! Slept too late for pancakes? That's okay. They have buffalo cauliflower wings that are out of this world. The perfect amount of tangy and spicy but not too spicy. Super crispy. You can get them by themselves or now they sell them prepared in a wrap, because you want to pretend to be healthy! Just drench it in enough sauce, and get some fries with it to make sure you're counteracting any good choices you were trying to make. We're all dying. If you're afraid of being in enclosed spaces with dirty, filthy strangers during these questionable times we're living in, asked to be seated upstairs, outside on the patio! I was in large party upstairs and apps were delivered to the table. The food runners lack communication skills and were completely mousey. Not sure how the sauce slipped off the plate behind me but a food runner spilled green sauce all down my back and didn't acknowledge it. They didn't seem concerned whatsoever. By the time I got up to have my friends look, the food runners fled the site. I was disappointed by the customer service. I saw that my ticket had a $5 discount but honestly that whole experience was mortifying and I wanted the server to get his tip. I honestly should not have had a ticket to take care of after the incident. I wouldn't recommend another outing to The Vault again. I emailed them before posting this without any response from them. It's a nice area but with all the glass surround, there's no place for the sound to go. Rachel didn't introduce herself but it was on the ticket. Very friendly and professional. She brought out a couple of waters. I got a 10 oz. Mimosa ($6.99) which I thought was orange juice but tasted a little off. My partner got a Strawberry Mojito ($10) which she loved. We each got the two egg breakfast ($10.99). I got bacon and she got avocado which we shared. I got the rye toast which was pretty hard to cut and eat. She got the biscuit and gravy which was also a little tough. It was a good meal and we'll definitely come back. The suggested tips on the tab were based on the total tab, including tip. My salmon was the perfect texture of crispy to sauce ratio - the filet looked even better cooked to perfection (medium rare) with along side some sautéed mushrooms.
