This is my go to UPS store to drop off items and do Amazon returns because there's always plenty of parking in the shopping center. Typically the process goes smoothly with no issues. The only complaint is that during my visit sometimes the employees aren't super helpful and just look at you until you come up to the counter to ask for help instead of helping you to begin with. Employees are rude. I got to bubble wraps of different sizes. I returned within 15 minutes to exchange the bigger one with a small bubbles. The stupid cashier said there is no return or exchange. I asked her where is the sign stating that. She said it's somewhere on the receipt. There was absolutely nothing written there. I've been coming to this store for so long since I work really closed so I can send my gifts and returns. But never felt comfortable cuz workers at this UPS has a bad attitude like literally they're not happy with their life or they really hate working there. I had to have my friend ship my wallet to me with some money in it. Upon receiving the wallet the wallet was cleaned of any cash inside. I called the office and requested that this be reviewed in the beginning of november, he said it would take a week to send me footage of any activity that went down when the wallet was shipped. Never received any follow up weeks later so I called again and he said it would be a few more weeks due to the holidays. Come to the end of december and still no follow up or update im guessing the manager probably thought i forgot and would just let it go. The "store manager" Ricardo literally told me my prints were not priority as he continued to help others and left me on the side waiting when I had already waited in line. I expressed to him I had already waited and clearly my toddler was being impatient and crying. Instead of helping me out he proceeded with his attitude telling me I had to wait and that he wasn't going to argue with me. As if I went in thinking I wanted to receive such demeaning service and get into an argument with this incompetent manager. Girl was really rude, I went in to return an Amazon package, it was 2 items and Amazon gave me one code only, the girl said ohh they should of gave you 2. So I clearly showed her the picture where it stated it was one code for 2 items and she said I had to tape the items together so I had to drive back to work and tape the boxes then come back. I read the yelp reviews before coming here. I needed fingerprint clearance for work which can only be done at this location. I was a bit anxious because it's an hour drive and one review said that this location doesn't do fingerprint after 5pm. I called ahead of time to confirm and was told to be there by 6:15 since they close at 6:30. Upon arriving, I was immediately helped by ISH. He was outgoing, friendly, and helpful. I have a box here and have been for the last 7 years. Today I was a bit annoyed with the girl at the desk. I have been getting mail and packages here for YEARS and have not had an issue. I stopped getting packages to my home address because the USPS would either lose my packages or someone would steal them and USPS did little to help. For the last 7 years my mail and packages would RARELY have my box number on them because some places don't deliver to P.O. boxes, and besides, UPS advertises that you can use their address like a regular address (meaning without your personal box number). Also, I've never been told by anyone else there that I NEEDED to put my box number on my things so they wouldn't misplace them, until today. My first name isn't super common (especially the spelling) and my last name isn't super common. When combining my first AND last name together it's REALLY not common. Today around 12pmish I received notification from USPS and Etsy that my item was delivered to the front desk/receptionist. Usually by 2pmish I would receive email notification from UPS that my package was received, since I didn't receive notification I went there anyways and good thing I did. Now if you don't know UPS puts a slip in your box and I guess that's when your notified about your packages and then they hold them. I went to check my box first and no slip was in there so I waited in line. I told her I should have a package but I didn't get notification from them, she checked for my name and box number and found nothing. Then she tried to place blame on USPS (for those who never worked a customer service job, this is a technique that you use to brush off a customer and hope the customer take it and go) but today was not the day to brush me off because there was a custom piece in that package that I've been waiting 2 weeks for and have been tracking religiously. So since there was a line, I waited patiently for her to get through everyone and let her know that I know that someone has a box there too with my FIRST name and I received her mail in my box before. So she goes back into the system and states that I'm the only one with MY last name (of course) but there is someone else with my FIRST name (-_-) (I just said that right? Lol) anyways, she goes to check that other person's package and long behold it's my f*cking name on there, FIRST and LAST! Now, bare with me because this part p*issed me off, she tried to place the blame on me now! She stated that I should put my box number on my stuff. No apology for their mistake for placing someone else's box # sticker on my package even though the last names were different? This was the FIRST in 7 years that I experienced this mistake and still no apology that it was your fault for not paying attention? Then she goes on to say that "only Ricardo really knows the customers like that, so he knows which customer is which when they come in". Um, ok, but you've been here long enough to pay attention to box holders who have been going in to retrieve mail often, and there was a guy prior to you who knew who I was a few weeks after he started. Maybe your just not paying as close attention as you should be. I shouldn't have to depend on Ricardo to make sure my sh*t is getting to me. He can't hold your hand and make sure things are going smoothly when he's not even in the building. Next time pay attention to what y'all are doing. Ricardo seems to be busy everytime I see him anyways and I can't stop him and be like "I don't want her handling my stuff, can you do it instead?" Good thing I went into this place and stood my ground because someone else would have been walking around with my personalized item around their neck! We arrived about 10 minutes before closing on Saturday and there was a paper posted stating "BRB 10 min". Not sure how long that was posted but that's ridiculous. I had printed my document from my email and was charged $2.22 by the employee Lesley . But the print out was blurry and she didn't confirm with me before I left. I returned in 10 minutes because the company didn't accept the blurry print out. I asked Lesley to see if she could print a better picture and she replied that she couldn't do anything about. I asked for her expertise to see if there were any other methods to make a better picture and she couldn't advise anything. She was so unprofessional . Then I asked her if it would help if my daughter sent the document scanned? She reprinted and it was missing parts of the document. When she adjusted it, the print out was fine. Then she charged me again for $2.22 and I asked " are serious for charging me again?" She told me once I left the store, she had to charge me again. I think this is ridiculous , she should confirm with me if the document was ok if it was blurry in the first place before I left the store. There should also be a sign that says their policy will charge you again if you left the store. I ended up $4.44 for 1 black and white paper. This is the way they try to make money out of the customer. I will not return back to this store. read more
