I was really nervous in that moment because these are for my wedding and I wanted everything to be perfect. He took his time, paid attention to detail, and really made me feel confident that they would come out exactly right. I never felt rushed, which meant a lot to me. Also, if it wasn't for Ralph helping out at the front with all the customers coming in, Julian wouldn't have been able to focus and execute everything so perfectly. I went to have a large amount of shredding done and the young man I spoke with on the phone was very kind to carry it in for me. I went to this location because a 25% off coupon was offered specifically for shredding services, however the manager refused to honor the coupon. I was on my way to pick up my Mom for our Saturday run to San Gabriel Valley area. I needed to drop off an Amazon return package to a UPS Store. I didn't even know there was one in downtown Claremont. I drive by it all the time on Indian Hill Blvd. Sometimes when we're not looking for a particular business, we just don't see them. Anyway, glad to know they are here for my future visits. This location has two entrances; one from the main street on Indian Hill Blvd and another from the back near the parking lot. I entered through the back door since I parked in the back parking lot. Parking is limited and space is tight... please have patience and be careful when backing up. It was the quickest UPS Store visit that I have ever experienced. I had put down the package on the counter, the nice young lady scanned it, and then provided me a receipt afterwards. Transaction was done! It was that fast! Thank you! I wish every UPS Store visit could be this quick. Of course, I made my visit a tad longer because I was taking pictures of the place for my Yelp review LOL. Soon after, I exited through the front entrance to take more pictures LOL. I had to walk around the building to get back to my car. It's all good. I don't mind the walk... it's good for me. This will be my go-to UPS Store when I'm in the Claremont area. That's for sure. Horrible customer service. Came in to ship a number of fragile items and the rep was snappy and unwelcoming. She told me it would be cheapest to ship all the items in one large oversized box which was quoted to be over $200. I ran the quotes myself on the website and it was actually cheaper to ship the items separately, but she would not help in matching the quote or help with separating the items. Saying that if I wanted to use the online quotes I had to print the labels myself and package the items away from the store. Felt like I was being ripped off. read more

The convenience of this location is the only positive. The customer service is consistently poor, and the atmosphere feels uncomfortable and unwelcoming. When the Amazon kiosk line becomes extremely long, employees do not offer assistance or step in to help manage it, even when the rest of the store is empty. As a customer, you never know what to expect--whether the line will be long or short, or whether anyone will help at all. I've interacted with multiple employees here, and none have been friendly, proactive, or willing to go beyond the bare minimum. First and foremost Silvia the store manager always greets me with a smile as soon as I walk in the door.THIS CHICK ROCKS ILL NEVER USE ANOTHER UPS STORE!! Customer service is on point as well as her skills. Always make sure I get the value for my money. I had a custom box made for an item for work that's wasn't ready to be shipped yet. Asked me to bring it in and it was done within an hour. As I was waiting in line the other employees seemed polite and skilled and got customers in and out pretty quickly. This is a great UPS Store location with friendly employees, lots of services offered, and cleanliness. I popped in yesterday to drop off some Amazon returns - so easy! The only bummer is the parking situation. Parking is not available in front and the lot behind is small, compact, and shared with several other businesses. I received a notice that I needed to pick up a package at this UPS location. I came in the next day, and was brushed off by an employee. She was on the phone with someone else while talking to me, implied that the package was probably being re-delivered already anyway, and after asking me to "stick around" (I assumed to wait until she got off the phone) she called for the next customer and completely ignored me. After 24 hours my package was still not delivered, so I filed a package re-delivery request on the UPS website as directed. It is now over a week later and I have received no updates or information about my package. I have called UPS four times, visited my local UPS store twice, and attempted to contact the original shipper all with no luck. I've been told I need to pick up a package, was ignored when I tried to do so, and followed the directions on UPS to have my package delivered, only to learn that even without notifying me my package is now considered "lost." I am unable to file a claim online, over the phone, or in person. This feels like a system designed perfectly for UPS to steal packages with absolutely no consequences. At this point I don't even care if I get my package or not, if a refund is all I can get thats fine. But I will not let this go and I will not be easy to steal from. UPS, if I am not given an opportunity to file a claim with your company in the next month, I will pursue legal action. read more

My husband and I came in a week ago to ship out 5 packages. The young man working was very helpful and helped us pick out boxes and gave us our receipt. He then told us to have a good day without the boxes being sealed. I felt weird about this and against my better judgment we left. 4 out of the 5 boxes made it to their destination- and conveniently the most expensive item never left the store. We will need to file a claim with UPS and I know that will be a tedious process. I wish there were still honest people in this world. It's very disheartening. read more

This review is for constructive criticism; if there is no one in the store taking up your time please don't force us to use the self Amazon scan return machine. It uses a lot of plastic and paper; and honestly wastes a lot of time for the customer. This store has rude workers, especially their manager. She is beyond rude for no reason. Even though this store is closer, I would rather drive to the UPS store in La Verne or Postal Annex. This place has inconsistent prices for their service. But it's not about the cost so much, but about how they treat their customers. The notary was pretty friendly and this location is usually pretty quick, and there doesn't seem to be much of a wait or a line on the weekends when I've been. Go here for Passport Pictures, this UPS store offers 3 pictures so you the customer can pick the best. Phillip was very professional. I was in need to get my PP pic and had a horrible experience at The Village Postmark. A waste of $16.50 . The women who took the photo offered only one and it was washed out, blurry picture that would have been rejected bc I was wearing a white top. I should have left when she said "I TAKE GREAT MUG SHOTS". She should go work at a prison, she has the perfect personality for one. And she doesn't know the rules for taking PP pictures. read more

This review is to help forewarn anyone that may set this place as an "Accesspoint" to pick up orders purchased online, or any kind of order honestly. If the customer service at this location was at least sufficient/adequate I wouldn't hesitate to return here for other services. I work in the surgical pathology department at a hospital providing patient care everyday, working easily 10+ hours 5 (sometimes 6) days a week, and their customer service is NOT something you would want to deal with after a long day of work where it is stessful already. I would not recommend this location and would truly believe all the other bad customer service related reviews on here. On Wednesday I received an email notification from Urban Outfitters and UPS stating my package had arrived at this location at 1:10 PM. After getting off work I arrived at UPS and asked the only employee there that I was there to pick up a package. She took my name, looked it up in on the system, and told me that the package was not there because my name was not on their "pickup list". I took out my phone to double check the tracking info, and during that time she seemed overall uninvolved/inattentive to the situation even though I was the only customer there. Made me think why she wouldn't just take a quick moment to check the back even just to make sure. I proceeded to show her the 1:10 PM arrival stamp on the tracking. The employee then told me that sometimes the tracking updates the delivery as such and the package usually arrives a day or two later. To me, that didn't make any sense, unless the driver intentionally scanned to forge some kind of package delivery turn around time, or it was lost/stolen. It was my mistake for even giving her the benefit o the doubt and agreeing to check back the next day. The following day I observed the UPS tracking info once more to see is I can find any details before making the phone call. I noticed that on the tracking it said that the package WAS RECEIVED on the Wednesday at 1:10pm by SANDRA. I called UPS after work to verify the my package at this location. This time a different employee answered, and as I explained my inquiry over the phone she responded "So what do you want?" in a less than satisfactory customer service tone. Once she understood my message she asked for my name and address. After giving her the information, in a rude tone asks me "Is that the name on the package?" and I was just trying to hide my frustration at this point. Once the employee looked up my information she tell me the exact same thing the girl from the day before mentioned which was that my name is not on the Pickup List so my package is not there. The moment I tell her that the package was received by SANDRA the prior day on the tracking I here an "Oh..." and lo and behold she finds my package in the back. I arrive at the location after a 40 minute commute back from work and see two employees. When one of them finally calls me over I mentioned that I was, once again, there to pick up a package. After asking for my full name this time, the employee (which I'm assuming was the one I spoke to over the phone) told me that my package was no there since I was not on their Pickup List. The moment I tell her that I was the one who called in to ask about my package picked up by SANDRA, she immediately runs to the back to grab my package which indicates she knew who I was. The rest seemed simple, I sign for the package and leave. I got on my car and started driving home...When I get a phone call from this UPS location on the road. When I picked up the girl tells me that I had to pay $5 for setting this UPS location as the Accesspoint for picking up a package. I was confused since it didn't mention anywhere about additional fees I would have to pay on site on the UPS tracking or when I was purchasing my item. As I was driving trying to think how this is possible the employee asks "So are you going to pay over phone, or are you coming back?" No apologies as far as even her making the mishap of not being able to fulfill the task and causing such an inconvenience. I decided that if I was going to write this review I wanted to at least do my due diligence so I have every right to complain about how terrible this place really is. Their staff could have all just taken a small extra step to make a trip to the back and check to remedy the situation, but they failed to do so. I called UPS customer service afterwards to ask about the location and was informed that this is a family owned location so it is not contracted under the actual UPS. Hence the $5 "Package Receiving Fee" for setting this location as an Accesspoint and the employees that seem like they lack overall training. Other UPS owned locations will not charge you the $5. During these challenging times I am all for helping family owned businesses, all the way, but I will be one of the customers that will never return here. read more

This place is trash. Had to make a Amazon return and the woman helping me with the dead eyes said I needed to pay a fee to tape and ship it? I wasn't going to pay $1.50 for a strip of tape. I've gone here a few times now and I've never had a good experience. Parking is usually a pain. My biggest issue however, is the staff that I've encountered. They have been unhelpful and rude. Always have tried to charge me for anything little thing they can find. I had an Amazon box return that needed 1 extra strip of tape to the side and they charged me $3!
