Hi Everyone, I go into Post Master Plus quite often. This location is located on the corner of Foothill Blvd and Wheeler Ave in La Verne. In the same shopping center as CVS and Crunch Fitness but closer to the One West Bank building. It is a nice little store with a rather large variety of services available to customers. I have never really worked with the owner but I have worked with his wife, as well as the young girl who works with them, and have found everyone to be very nice and quite accommodating. To the point even I would say they mostly go out of their way to make sure all of my needs are met. As the name would indicate, they have private mailboxes for rent. They have special prices for longer rental periods, so be sure to inquire about this if you plan to keep you mailbox (Private PO Box) there for a while. They do a good job of getting the mail to the boxes (mail is delivered here by the post office) very soon after it comes in and they are very good about getting mail to your box if it comes in without your PO Box number. You can access you mail box 6 days a week during business hours. You can even access your box during off hours if you are willing to pay a little extra for a key to give you off hour access to your box. The store has the usual selection of "gifty" type items as well as a good selection of office supplies. I would say that aspect is typical of most PO Box stores of this type. They are an authorized shipper for UPS (they will help you with the packing and they have shipping supplies available for purchase) as well and a drop off location for FedEx. They do live-scan fingerprinting. This location advertises they are a rental location for U-Haul but I have never seen a trailer here. So I would suggest you call ahead on this point and find out if they keep trailers in stock of if they have to order them in. All in all, this is a nice little local mom and pop business. They have been in La Verne for 20+ years, so give them a shot if you are in the market for a PO Box or if you are in the need of shipping services. Regrades, Jim read more

I came in for both a Livescan and to mail a painting, which required a large box and some packing. The man working (assume it's the owner), was the absolute coolest you could possibly imagine, even took the time to cut and fold a box down to smaller size so my shipping fee wouldn't be extra. The Livescan was done quick and efficiently also. Definitely a pleasant experience and left me feeling very satisfied and positive. He also handled several "regulars" in between my transactions to not keep them waiting and who had simple requests - totally fine by me and actually great customer service since what I was requesting was pretty involved. Absolutely worst service I have ever experienced. Do not give your money to this business. The owner was extremely rude and dismissive. This place is listed as FedEx drop off location and I needed to return an item from Wayfair. I came in an hour before closing and told the owner I need to ship via FedEx. He right away told me that FedEx already picked up for the day. I said that was okay. He seemed disappointed that I still wanted to ship. I told him the box was long and without looking at the box he told me he didn't have room for it and I needed to ship it from somewhere else. I asked him to please look at the box before he automatically said no. He begrudgingly got up from his chair and looked at the box. He reluctantly decided to take it but told me I had to carry it to his back office. This owner did everything in his power to make me not want to drop off this box. Both myself and my girlfriend have been to this location and the family that runs it is pretty rude. The older lady who I assume is the mom did a livescan for me (they digitally fingerprint you) and she made at least 4 comments about the poor state of my nails and cuticles. I thought I had mistakenly walked into a nail salon to get judged about my personal appearance like that. My girlfriend went to get a livescan and an older man possibly the dad was prying into her private life and judging her career choice, while working at a copy shop. Seems like a very judgmental family and I wouldn't bring my business here again, to run the risk of having some stranger try to draw me into their misery. Alright, so I have been bad and did not take the time to finish all my reviews. Gosh, Yelp you need to send me more reminders. In any case, I needed to make some immigration photos but they had to be done to a specific measurement. I came here and was helped by a young lady who took the time to really get the dimensions right. I definitely appreciate her doing that for me as I could not even get professional photo places to do it. Only complaint, with only one girl there to help everyone, it was a bit tough for her. I found this gem a number of years back when I needed a quick Live Scan for an employer. I have always worked with the owner and he is fabulous! It is a busy place but the employees always do their best to manage multiple things. Because the business has a number of specialities, there can be a wait, but it is never very long. If I could leave a negative review I would, walked in and waited for the women to help me while she literally walked around with no customers doing nothing, after she was done I asked her some questions to her being irritated to answer and ROLLING HER EYES multiple times. Wow! If I could put negative stars I would. I was class profiled for not being the right customer from this jerk of an owner!! Here's my dilemma. I need a uhaul truck but currently have no drivers license. My good friend helping me today luckily does but I made the reservation with my credit card. Keep in mind I have a United States passport card as identification. Made a reservation with uhaul. They said go to this establishment to pick up. When I walked in the owner and his wife were happily, I mean happily talking with a customer. Customer looked like a nice middle aged white guy. The gentleman said his goodbye and the owner looked over to me and my friend and his jaw literally dropped. Like we're scum! With the most unenthusiastic look he asked if he could help us. I explained we had a VALID RESERVATION AND I.D. but he refused us service stating that I need a valid license also. Called Uhaul left a complaint and they agreed he could have and should have rented me the truck!!! THEY ALSO NOTED THAT IT WAS OK AS WE HAVE DONE THIS EXACT SAME THING( my cc his valid DL) IN THE PAST!!! We look young. We are skateboarders. We were dirty( we're working) and my buddy has a ton of tattoo's so he looks kinda scary I get that. BUT REALLY ????! Wasted a couple of hours on this day just trying to help a buddy move today. I came in for a fingerprinting service, I am a newly hired Special Education Teacher for a school in La Verne. I was next in line after a lady, and then an elderly lady followed behind me. The elderly lady was obviously a regular and well known to the owners. The female owner then asked me if she could help her first. I was about to say no, I was in a bit of a hurry, the nice elderly lady said for me to go ahead. As a result, the female owner seemed to be irritated by this. She was extremely friendly to obviously regular customers. Perhaps because she was not going to make any money on me, it was irritating to have to "deal" with me. I really don't know why. The owner then asked for me to write my social security number down, I have had several finger printing situations as I have been a teacher for years. I did not want to write it down (there are too many incidents of identity theft). I have always been able to tell the person as they input my info. She then told me that if I did not write it down, she would not do the service. Her tone was extremely rude, and her curtness continued through the process. She then made a copy, and left my personal information on the copy machine, where I'm sure the public is allowed to use. I will not ever use their services because of this experience, however I wanted to write this review so it is date stamped, if any of my personal information ends up in the wrong hands, I know where to start. read more

I have ask around our small town, and most know about AJ being rude. If funny, you act like your just someone posting, but, you can see it in your words, your the owner or owners wife. I don't even know how to explain my frustration through a yelp review. I went into this post master to get my fingerprints for work. I approached the lady while she was on the phone, she continued to talk to her "ever so important friend" and converse while she was going to help me. She was speaking a different language so I don't know what she was saying while she was dealing with my social security number, address and fingerprints.. I then continued to tell her that I needed to get my fingerprints, politely. She of course, stayed on the phone and whispered "wait". I waited patiently (she was still on the phone) and after about 8 minutes of her chatting and laughing with her friend, I followed her to the back. I had each hand and finger done, while listening to her conversation on the phone that I didn't understand. She charged me $78.00 for the fingerprinting, conversation with her friend and HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. I have never been so appalled. Also, $78.00 for that kind of service is a disgrace to this company. In the future, I wish that should would have respect for her customers and not her very important conversation.. read more
