    Upbeat music when I walked in at 815. Steven helped me quickly and efficiently to pick up my rerouted package! Inconvenient to have to come pick it up, but easy to park, walk in and pick up and leave!

    **Open and operating during Covid-19** I have extremely fond memories of this FedEx location. Back in High School I was trying to get some materials printed for one of the clubs I was in charge of, and the manager at the time, hearing that it was for educational purposes, he actually DONATED some prints for my club. What a nice guy!! Recently I had to send my boss a package to Sacramento and we have a corporate FedEx account so it was just easiest for me to stop by FedEx Office Print & Ship Center. This is a FedEx corporate owned location so staff is more helpful and better stocked than a franchised location. Due to covid, they have limited capacity, 6ft distancing and special hours to help those with special health issues or physical needs on Tuesdays/Thursdays 9-10am and Saturdays 10-11am. I came here after work on a Friday evening and Kevin was able to help me out. I had the item I needed to ship and I was able to use the shipping supplies from FedEx. Kevin was super friendly and helpful. He helped me package up my shipment as I rummaged my belongings for my corporate shipping account number. I showed him my CA Drivers License and Business Card to verify my association with the company. He was able to print out the shipping label for me and give me my shipping options in an efficient amount of time. I am really frugal with company money, so I said the cheap one, being the Express Saver. Kevin gave me an ETA and my Tracking Number was on the receipt. As I am working remote to ensure my corporation's safety values, I am sure I will be back here for my office shipping needs to get things around to my fellow colleagues. I can also see myself coming back here to ship my personal items as well.

    Great customer service every time I've been here. The staff checks in with you and makes sure to answer your questions right away. Faxing was expensive though! (I know, who even faxes anymore ). It's $1.89 for the first one and $1.69 for each additional page. They have signs outside for social distancing and places to wait in line, but this location does not seem to get crowded enough to need its use.

    Almost every printer was down when I went and all the staplers were missing. Times must be tough for them heh

    Wow, great print quality but why not get similar print quality elsewhere without being insulted by the staff? Don't bother with this place.

    FedEx is a disaster. Employees don't care. Use UPS. They either lie or can't read their own tracking information.

While I completely understand that she's not being paid extra to go above and beyond but really your job is to push buttons and scan a barcode at a place of business designed to ship and receive packages? I made a very simple and reasonable request: I asked if she could help me lift a small package. I had already brought the item into the store using a cart, and it was positioned directly in front of the counter. I wasn't asking her to carry it across the store or do any strenuous lifting...just a quick hand to place it on the scale. Her response was, "I can't lift it, we're under medical orders." This was surprising to hear from two visibly young, able-bodied employees. It felt more like an excuse than a genuine restriction, especially when the task was so minimal. What was most disheartening wasn't just the refusal to help--it was the attitude. I wasn't asking for special treatment because I'm a woman. I was simply hoping for basic human decency as someone clearly about to give birth. The general demeanor I encountered felt dismissive, almost like "I'm not getting paid to do more than the bare minimum." It's not the first time I've experienced this at this location either. Even walking in with a box, struggling with the door while pushing a cart, no one offers to assist or even acknowledges the effort. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that at a UPS shipping and packaging center, there would be someone available to assist with taking a package. That's the entire purpose of such a business. I didn't bring in something heavy, and I wasn't asking anyone to carry it across the store. I was literally already at the weighing scale and just needed help placing the item on it. The associate, Alejandra, said she couldn't help because she was under "medical orders" not to lift anything. While I can respect that some employees may have restrictions, it honestly begs the question: why would someone who can't lift even a light package or open a door for a customer be placed in a front-facing role at a shipping facility? If there are genuine limitations, shouldn't that be addressed through proper staffing or at least disclosed clearly? Maybe there should be a notice that says: If you need help lifting or handing off a package, please bring assistance. We're not permitted to touch any packages. That way, I could plan accordingly--because as someone who is 39 weeks pregnant, it's not safe or fair to assume I should do everything solo, especially at a location that advertises assistance with shipping and packaging. My expectations aren't outlandish. I expected basic, reasonable help in handing off a return. If that can't be provided, customers deserve to know up front so we can make alternate arrangements. This experience just doesn't align with what a "shipping service" should be.

On this particular visit, service was good as I just purchased a book of stamps and got an important letter that I mailed out for a rebate. It was lunch time so it took a while as their was only 1 employee helping at the service counter. Don't they realize not good to take their lunches during lunch hours when most people come in at this busy time? Also a manager or another employee a male would ask if anyone needs help, but did doesn't service the counter? I know this is an issue from a while back, but I wouldn't ever do express passport service here as I paid more money to get my passport quicker and it never came! I had to go all the way out to the Federal building in LA to get it and that was a fiasco as well. Do you think this post office would refund me any money for the express not happening as well as the mail service not delivering it? Heck no! I almost missed my planned trip back then. I try to stay away from here let alone any post office if at all possible. I don't like writing stuff like this, but facts. Sad.
