I have been using Village Postmark for both my business and personal needs for years. I can always rely on this company and they are always really helpful even when I have tons of packages to pick up. For all the bad reviews that I've read on this, they all take things too personal. People complaining about a passport picture and being lectured about their employer in the previous reviews are probably miserable or don't have a sense of humor. read more

My husband and I went to get a passport picture at Village Postmark, BIG MISTAKE AND WASTE OF MONEY. I should have walked out when the long hair old women said "I take GREAT mug shots" yikes the picture was completely washed out and blurry. I took one look at it and said WOW you weren't kidding about great mug shots. She should work at a prison, she has the perfect personality for one. She missed her calling. Needing a PP pic today l, we went to The UPS Store Claremont, they offered 3 different photos to chose from and it was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend them. Thank you Phillip at UPS. And Phillip also said the photo she took would have been rejected bc I was wearing white. read more

I agree with the other reviewers who said the owner here is unhelpful, rude, and condescending. I had to get forms notarized for my remote job, and she didn't want to notarize them because she felt it was outside what a California state notary is authorized to do, which is fine. If she'd just said she didn't feel like she could do that, apologized, and let me go, I wouldn't be writing this review. However, she insisted on lecturing me about how my employer was probably not legitimate and said I had just asked her to do something illegal. She told me to "keep my eyes open" and that my employer would get shut down if they were ever audited. My employer that I've already worked at for a year isn't even headquartered in California, so they're in a different jurisdiction and just recently went fully remote, which she might have found out if she'd bothered to ask instead of subjecting me to a five-minute lecture before letting me leave. I think she assumed I was a 19-year-old kid from The Claremont Colleges because I'm petite, but I'm actually a 32-year-old woman who can take care of herself without being talked down to by someone who runs on assumptions. I ended up going to the UPS down the street and they notarized the documents for me. Just save yourself the trouble and go there for your shipping and notary needs. read more

The Village Postmark lost a package for our company that was valued at $2,225.00! After researching the package location with FedEx it was determined that this location is not a rergular pick spot for FedEx so Village Postmark walks the FedEx packages down the street to the US Post Office, FedEx drop box. Needless to say our parcel was misplaced, stolen or whatever. My fault I didn't insure the package but I had used them for years and felt confident all would be good. They have been completey uncooperative, and lost my business as well as others. Shame on them. Here I come UPS store..... read more

I honestly don't know how this place makes it, but it is such a hidden gem. I HATE having to deal with the UPS Store and the Post Office. If you have a prepaid label, you can simply drop off your package here with no wait or crowds! The man working here is always friendly and helped me ship an important package back east to my uncle. I wish I could support this place more often. read more

I came in to wire money with Western Union the owner was trying to assist me however she was very rude and condescending. I called the company that I was sending money to in order to assist her with her challenges. she was incompetent even after the information I provided and I had to leave to go to another Western Union for prompt service. the other Western Union was able to assist me within five minutes of the same document that was provided to this company. her excuse is she has an outdated Western Union system; and if she was not able to assist me no one else would be able to assist me because she has had 15 years of experience. I wanted to call and complain to the owner unfortunately she was the owner. In addition to her speaking to me with a condescending tone she was so rude that I could not get one word in edgewise. read more

The absolute lamest packing job I have ever seen! Whomever packed the two boxes clearly knew nothing about how to pack for shipping. By all means if you use them to pack and ship, first make sure you are not too attached to the item/s and make sure you insure your items! The two boxes arrived with the contents in many, many pieces. read more
