I dealt with this UPS store a year ago. I paid for overnight shipping. $60. My package was delivered late. The store manager Claudia referred me to corporate. Corporate kept me on hold for almost 90 minutes. I did not hang up so they had to talk to me. Corporate insisted they got their package on time and it wasn't their fault but the fault of the store. The store insisted they cannot control when their packages when packages are picked up. The manager Claudia insisted I need to deal with corporate. She didn't make it right by at least giving me a refund for my package getting to its destination in 2 days $30 vs $60 I paid. It was important my package get there overnight. UPS will give you the run around go to another shipping company. I dealt with them for months and still wasn't a satisfied customer. read more

If you're looking to print a document and you go to the UPS store can be expensive to print one page. The UPS store charges the customer for emailing the document to them so they can print it. Walgreens charges $.25 per page and the UPS Store charges $4-$5 to email document and then a per page charge. So it can turn out to be really expensive to print . If you only need one page or a few pages of printing can cost close to $6 bucks. Walgreens does not charge to upload document, they only charge for the print which is $0.25 cents which is comparable to printing at the library. read more

Bad customer service. I'm in the process of moving and it turned out I didn't need the 3 boxes I bought from UPS. When attempting to return it, the manager stated they don't do returns on supplies. The receipt has a section stating "Items Designated NR are NOT eligible for Returns, Refunds or Exchanges." The 3 boxes I bought don't show an NR but she claims it's policy and the employees know that. She said only same day returns can be done, which already contradicts what she was claiming. No one mentioned it upon purchasing otherwise I would've bought the supplies elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. The best she could do was "I will talk to the cashier who helped you." Have been coming here for awhile but I have had enough and will start using another UPS outlet. Women that helped me, I think she is manager, was extremely unhelpful and customer unfriendly. Had a return to Amazon that stated no box required, but she stated it needed to be boxed and offered to SELL me materials needed. Have also been here before and she is also late opening up the facility on numerous occasions. Another time I had to remove an item and asked if she could dispose of box and she refused. Came here Saturday 6/17/23 for passport photo service ($15) and the photo they took was not accepted by the passport office due to poor photo quality. Do not go here for passport photos unless you want to waste your time and risk your travel plans due to the incompetence of the staff and lack of proper training on passport photo requirements. Please UPS store stop offering this simple service if you cannot do it correctly. I understand they had issues but your workers were rude and incompetent, after providing the wrong number and not willing to help me find the correct phone number. Your worker kept hiding in the back and the other worker kept helping people in line. If I didn't say I was in a rush I would have been there forever. It's horrible customer service to blame me for being in a "rush". The worker kept telling me that was the only phone number she could give me. I don't think not being in a rush would have changed her mind. I ended up googling the phone number myself within seconds. Lazy workers you have! I stand with my review. My review: had a horrible experience with fingerprinting today. My QR code wouldn't work and they wouldn't help me. In response, I CONFIRMED that Military Retiree IDs ARE accepted and it is absolutely known and understood that all retirees over a certain age are given an "indefinite" expiration date. I also confirmed that in the State of California, my mother's ID is perfectly acceptable for notary service and was able to get her documents notarized elsewhere without issue. I can't help but wonder if a elderly retired military Caucasian man with an identical ID and expiration date would've been considered as giving someone "red flags" in confirming their identity? The laws and regulations are always up to the interpretation of the person who is trusted to enforce them. So at the trustees discretion one can be deemed as "suspicious" while another is seen as completely normal and understandable. In our case, the notary at this store thought my 87 year Japanese mother in a wheelchair and I were suspicious and gave what she described loud enough for the entire store to hear her "red flags." I wish I would've recorded the entire exchange on video. There was another customer in the store that heard it, made eye contact with me, shook her head and mouthed "I'm sorry" because she also saw how we were being treated. It was uncomfortable for everyone. People who do this stuff love to hide behind the rules as their reason. Again, I confirmed my mothers ID was completely valid legally in California AND had no issue with another licensed notary who served us with kindness and true professionalism. read more

I am so mad. I went specifically to the UPS store and got my package sent by USPS. Why would I even not told it was shipped by USPS. I was not expecting my package to be shipped by anybody else than UPS. It's very frustrating and disappointing. I was never offered UPS shipping and wished that would have been the first choice. Sorry but it's a very bad service and now my package won't arrive before a month or more because of this mistake. Make sure when you ship international you are told everything. read more

Respectfully, I arrived just at 5:00 p.m. and a bit of grace would have been appreciated by your staff.  They refused to acknowledge my knocking.  How long would it have really taken to open the door & scan 3 packages? After your employees continued to ignore me, I pulled at your door out of sheer frustration. I recall that the previous owner of your location was immensely more helpful and her employees were not as rigid and difficult to deal with as your present employees. I believe that employees reflect the company and their employer. I can only assume that you advised them that it just too bad if a customer arrives at 5:00 p.m. since that's your closing time.    The last day to return the large package that you saw me carrying was that day, Saturday, June 10th and I have missed my return window. I realize this is not your problem. If your employees had been more courteous, I would have gladly given your store a glowing review.  However, your business practice errs on the side of callousness.  That's not good customer service and I think you are well aware it but really just don't care. The ambivalence of your employees shows this.    By the time I returned to my car the time was 5:01 p.m.  In the future, more grace and less rigidity would be a better practice. I actually tried to take my review down but was unable to on my cell phone. I went here to ship an Amazon return. They get 1 extra star for being very friendly. I followed staff instructions to scan my return QR code and leave the box on the counter. Unfortunately they covered the return label on my box and then shipped it back to my house instead. Of course no one at the company gave a shit at all and didn't offer anything in the slightest to make up for their error even after I asked multiple times. Pick-up would have been nice since this was a large 80 pound box that's hard to move alone and fit into a car. As an added bonus they returned the box back to me damaged. On second thought I'll think I'll remove the extra star. read more

Ever since Lori retired this place has gone to hell. It started with price increases, ok, not a huge deal. That happens. But the service has declined. Things like NOT BEING TOLD that UPS isn't honoring their guaranteed overnight/ 2 day/ 3 day deliveries in advance and having to find out after the fact when I've already paid extra for the service. What the hell? Ok, so if you're not going to give me my money back if it's late, tell me that beforehand. Geez. And just a heads up, they won't OFFER you usps pricing unless you specifically ask for it. Because usps is cheaper, not because they don't offer that. read more

I dropped off a box and 1/2 of my return slip blew away when I got out of the car (my problem I'm aware). Once inside I was told that there was a $4.50 (absurd) charge to send them an email and $.25 (standard) to print said email. I know that businesses use fees to mitigate personal cost like the cost of printing something. I've emailed things to other locations and was never met with a charge to email them. Luckily this is not the normal location I use. The associates where pleasant but ridiculous padding tactics cost you more in the long run. read more
