I was delivered to the store for pickup on December 18th My mother in law came on the same day. December 18th to pick it up. Kelly at first denied giving it to her because UPS covered my mother in laws name with their own label She also neglected to check the tracking to clearly see the delivery address that matched my mother in laws and also to check the delivery name that matched my mother in laws name. First, let me state that "I understand why this store has such a low rating". I had two items to ship, one UPS Ground and one USPS Parcel Post, so I checked the website to ensure I could accomplish both. The website plainly stated they handle Parcel Post for USPS. Here's the definition of Parcel Post "Noun" A postal service or department that handles and delivers packages. A postal service involving the shipping of parcels. Postal service that handles packages." However, they refused my Parcel Post package stating that they don't have room for packages. I have had my mailbox with this location for nearly 5 years. Never had an issue with service until now. Received a phone call about a package I was unaware of. I'm an ambassador for several brands and they randomly send items to me. Most of my packages are sent to my UPS address. I was notified that my package has been there for over a week. The package was delivered on the 12th. An email was sent on the 14th. The company did not inform me I was being sent something. As I did receive the email from UPS dated 2 days after. Life happens! Package was not picked up. Received a phone call on Saturday 10/19 that if the package was not picked up a $10 holding fee will be charged. As I do understand the fee. It shouldn't have applied! When I was notified 2 days after delivery. What if this was a gift? How would the recipient know?!! Unfortunately I was unavailable to pickup until Monday. 1 week after the email. So why am I being charged $10?? I have NEVER been late of picking up packages. Then again, store employees have also NEVER been late to notify. Even when it comes to something I have actually ordered! As a loyal customer. Even family having a mailbox with this location way longer than myself. No courtesy. No, please make sure this doesn't happen again. $10 is $10 and it was beyond absurd that I had to pay that. read more

I came to this UPS Store as I just came from Costco and it was conveniently close. Upon arriving, Brian (young Chinese guy) told me that my box needed to be taped. As I have done in other UPS Stores in Chino Hills (specifically the Los Serranos store in Albertsons), I requested if he had a tape I could borrow to seal my box. He said that he did but needed to charge me $1 for the small piece of tape. I said what??? Now as I looked at other Customer reviews, this store is a disgrace and needs to be shut down and not worthy of the customer service standards offered by other stores and UPS it self. He was very rude after the comment that I said that I'll just bring it to the other Chino Hills UPS store in Los Serranos which as you can see on the reviews are a LOT better than this one that "nickel and dimes" their customers. I have had positive experiences from this UPS store on several occasions. They have been friendly, helpful, and pretty much held my hand while filling out those tracking forms. Today, had to get copies of some forms, double-sided, and then delivered to one of three addresses based upon how mail was sent to and expenses. Mid week at about 2 o'clock they only had one person working. Took over 30 minutes to get inside, with the line going out the door the whole time I was there. Had to confirm with the guy working the counter that this is normal behavior. They intentionally understaff since we can just wait outside in the heat while all the packages are shipped and computers are explained to older people. Hard to go back to a place where they intentionally treat customers poorly for profit. read more

This location is horrible. Came in to get a medium po box as was mentioned over the phone. Brian or whatever the gentleman's name is states just come before 6:30 and it should be fine. Came at 6:15 and no medium po boxes were available. Seems like a lie as it didn't seem like he wanted to work. Then offers to sell me a virtual mailbox where my my mail will be kept under the desk in an envelope for the same price as a physical box.. with a promotion of 15% off. I had to drop off my usps package urgently at ups (because I know they take usps packages too, you just don't receive a receipt). However, this asian guy infront of 8-10 people, loudly tells me that they do not accept usps packages and that if ups accepted usps, they are not allowed to, that that is not their policy. I have been going to ups to drop off my usps packages for YEARS (because I live pretty far from usps). I also have gone to so many different ups to drop off my packages and all have accepted them. I believe he sounded pretty rude as well. It's also on google that you CAN drop them off at ups. If you're going to be rude about it and blame other ups workers for accepting usps package.. dude LOL. I came in to this Location after visiting the store at Schaefer and Euclid. The first location wasn't busy but I felt like I was inconvenience for walking in their store. I was rudely informed that they were not offering notary services and I could drive to Chino Hills. Now that's great and all but you can't tell me the address. Now if it were just me but I was with my 80 year old mom that has a difficult time walking. Well I located the address and proceed to the Chino Hills location. There I found a very busy location with a line extending out the door at least three deep. The employees greeted everyone with a friendly and polite demeanor. I had three items from Amazon to return. I had three codes in my phone. The first thing.Kelli asked me was, "is there a reason why these boxes are not taped up?" I told her that Amazon said UPS store will package and ship for free, but I was nice enough to put them back in the box and bring them in with original box. She then wanted me to show her where it said that. I could not look that up on my phone because I used my mother-in-law's Amazon to buy these items. She could not determine which box went with which code, so I went out to my car and got my glasses so I could figure that out, which I did. Then she said she was going to have to charge me a dollar a box to put tape on them. I told her I would take them somewhere else. According to Amazon, I didn't even need to put them back in a box, she had an attitude from the moment I walked in, and I wanted to say something, but I held it in. I ended up Leaving with two large boxes to take to another UPS store that would give me service. I thought about buying a roll of tape, but I didn't want to give them any of my money. This is the worst UPS store I have ever been to. I usually print in Chino or Ontario weekly for my events and at the most with a bunch of color the total was $2.50. Here at this location they tried to charge me a three dollar computer fee just for sending it to them and then printing it out. I haven't even printed as far as Huntington Beach with the UPS store and never have I encountered something like that. the employee was rude and even charged the poor old man in front of me that wasn't gonna pay anything for his package one dollar to put a small piece of tape on the top of the box. I went to the UPS store at: 13089 Peyton #C, Chino Hills, CA 91709 on 2/20/24. I provided the manager the fax number and she tried faxing it and it came back destination does not support IP-FAX, fax line not connected. I contacted the company that I was trying to fax my documents and confirmed their fax was working andcorrect phone number. I went back a second time the the above UPS store, same supervisor(mgr) tried faxing again and again it would not go through. Called the company again and asked if they were receiving their faxes and they were. The proble was: The manager at this particular store did not know that she had to dial a 9 before the phone number. I ended up going to fex ex to have my fax sent and it went through. This UPS store gave me grief and wasted my time due to a managers lack of training. read more

This place is more of a get in and get out type of store (if you are a returns junkie). I've been here many times and have only spent minutes each time. However today was different today. There was a line, with what seemed to be a hangup up front. Someone in front of me I did not know informed me that the line had not moved for a long time as I poked my head above the line. Just got back from trying to return an Amazon package and younger female employee with glasses INTERVENES after my product was scanned and the other young male gave me a receipt. She said she needed to see the QR code again. As it took a while to load I attempted to explain that and she RUDELY CUT ME OFF and repeated "QR code please." If your code says "customer packed," you MUST package it again. I am not wasting more time energy and money to do that then go back when everywhere else accepts the package or item as is. DO NOT bring your returns here they are Uber strict and mind you, they charge for basically breathing in there. I no longer will purchase anything from Amazon if I have to drop off here. I've never liked the energy, the people working there, they're like robots. No greets, no smiles and certainly not any emotions from all the employees that have been here. I've only been here a couple of times to drop off packages, but from what I've seen is that the workers here are nice and always ask me if there's anything more they could do for me.
