I'm giving 3 stars strictly for the cleanliness and convenience of this store. The same woman is always there she is awful!! No greeting, no thank yous, not have a nice day. An irritated grabbing of my Amazon return and a receipt shoved back. I do use the self serve Amazon return kiosk except when it's overflowing. I have mentioned to staff when it's that full people can steal those packages. So overall I think based on others reviews this gal needs to go and you won't have any negative reviews I'm guessing!! read more

Just left here to do an Amazon return. WOW. The lack of customer service is extremely disappointing. The girl that helped me out had a face like she was just disgusted she had to do my return. No smile, no eye contact, nothing. Even her "here you go" when hanging me my receipt was in a whisper voice with no eye contact. I could feel her annoyance. I've encountered the same lady up at the counter several times. All the times I've been with her have been horrible. She always makes it feel like I am an inconvenience for having to return packages. She does not greet you, not even a simple hello. She does everything with an attitude and is very rude. Never in my life at any UPS store have I paid a "email fee" but today I did and when I questioned it the girl was like really we always have yet earlier in the day I came and I wasn't charged a fee. I said is there a manager I can speak with (not even trying to talk to the manager to get her in trouble but just to gain some understanding ) she quickly said she was the manager. Hello I am coming on here really quick to give a RAVING review on your employee Glory. I come in here all the time but one time I was having an issue with the shipping label. She was so patient with me and was very knowledgeable. Her supervisor tried to come in later without knowing all of the action steps we had already taken and he delayed it further- I wish he hadn't done that. She knew more than him. I've been a customer here since they 1st opened & they've had a ton of staff come & go but the quality & customer service is above & beyond. I come in at least 3x per week at all different times & at peak hours there's a bit of line as customers all have differing needs. I walked in and asked for a hand cart because I had 4 large items to bring in from the car. I asked the curly hair guy with glasses if I could borrow a hand cart. He replied, "no, I'm using them." So here I am carrying all of these large items in while other people are lining up. He asked me to place them against the wall, so I did. He took care of another guest and then got to me. He came over to scan the code on one of the boxes. Then he asked me to just hand him all of the paperwork. Not thinking, I did. Now the QR codes were out of order and I had to open the packing slip on every box to determine which went where. Very annoying. I've used this UPS store since literally the day they opened. I was very surprised to have had a bad experience because this guy doesn't understand customer service. read more

UPS opened my package without my permission and returned the package under my husband's name. So I paid $65.72 to air-ship to myself! And refuse to refund. Awful service! I tried to ship the immigration files to my parents overseas which was full of confidential information and files, including tax return files. The UPS lady gave me a quote around $140 for 1lb paperwork. I told her it's pricy and she gave me the other option to ship by USPS which was $65.72 through UPS. We finished packing in USPS envelope on Friday 7-9-2021. I received a package from UPS facility under my husband's name with NO USPS envelope inside 7-12-2021, which means UPS OPENED MY PACKAGE AND LOOKED INTO MY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AND NEXT AIR SHIPPED BACK TO ME. The UPS Store let me down in a big way. As indicated in a previous review, I have supported this store since it opened and had good experiences. My recent experience was just bad business plain and simple. Recently, I needed an important business letter mailed quickly to Manhattan Beach. I paid for two day delivery, which was about $24.00. The letter did not arrive until six or seven days later. I contacted the store throughout that week waiting period and was told by an employee UPS could not guarantee the two day delivery because of COVID. That would have been nice to know when I paid for the service. The employee never told me delivery could not be guaranteed at the time I made the purchase. I would have never spent $24.00 to mail a letter, if that was the case. Please note that I am reasonable and could have dealt with a day or two beyond what I paid for, but a week? I should have just mailed it. I basically got moded. I spoke to the owner, Robert. Rather than recognize the store's error and provide me with a refund or partial refund, he submitted a claim to UPS and said his manager, Sylvia, would contact me. Sylvia never contacted me, so I returned to the store and was told the claim was denied by UPS because again, UPS was not guaranting shipping dates. Thus, this store was reasonable because the employee never mentioned this disclaimer. A call to UPS itself resulted in no resolution as well. They blamed the store. By the way, Sylvia never followed up with me on this issue throughout a multiple week period. This store and UPS lost a loyal customer. read more

I made appointment for the notary service. They are telling me that they don't go by the appointment time on the website when i get there. And I asked what's the point that I made the appointment if they don't go by it. Ryan who is on duty just keep telling me that they don't go by the website or appointment. I made the appointment so we both can save sometime, instead of that, i need to drove to another place for notary. I know the manager is Robert, and you should mange your employees better. read more

What happened to customer service at this location? Went down the drain! The woman does not greet the customer but instead jumps at the new employee who was there only for an hour and starts with "what do you do when there's an issue with packages like this...yak..yak...". Turns to me " you're supposed to pack it like you got it from Amazon" to which i respond "that's how I got it!" She rudely responds "doesn't matter you have to put in a box or envelope" and points to the QR code..."see!" When I return she calls me with a wave of her hand, scans the QR code, hands me the label and that's it. No greeting.. no verbal communication...what a bi... day! read more

I always get friendly service here. They are usually busy, but the wait is never long. I regularly drop off my Amazon returns and other items for shipping and have never had a problem. It's sad to me to read that what others have said is different than my experience. Sometimes people only post when there is a problem and the ones like me who have only had good experiences take it for granted and don't post. I went here to get a notary done but had the weirdest experience with a worker named Jennings. I explained to the person what my document was for and the person asked to see the first page. I showed the person the first page and the person insisted that it was not the first page. I told Jennings that it was and he/she got infuriated. Jennings then refused notarizing my document. Jennings proceeded to throw my license in a fit of rage on the counter and left refusing to give his/her name. The other workers were kind and apologized profusely for Jennings behavior. And told me his/her name. Then I went to a UPS a few blocks down and had my normally good experience with UPS. Honestly, I don't even know how to feel about this situation. Initially, I was frustrated at Jennings arriving late and acting unprofessional but at the same time I feel bad this kid and hope he/she is in a better mental state now. read more

Forget trying to access internet here. No wifi that allows customers to connect with internet to get Amazon return email QR codes. Employee said to step outside and try my luck in and that they don't have guest wifi. read more

Don't offer fingerprint services if none of your employees are trained for it or willing to help. I just spent 20min doing my own fingerprints while the employee watched me struggle. The scanner doesn't work. Upgrade your fingerprint scanner and train your staff. It's ridiculous. read more

The store supervisor working close last Thursday, Flora, provided me with excellent customer service.  It was my 1st visit to that UPS store and I had difficulty finding the entrance.  With 5 minutes left before closing, I was frantically trying to get myself and the huge package through the front doors. I expected to receive a scowl from whoever was working the front desk because I was last-minute, but I was greeted with quite the opposite. Flora welcomed me with a huge smile, she was super friendly and knowledgeable.  Not only was the interaction exceptional, but Flora saved my day. read more

Laura from this UPS store is really rude and has a real bad attitude and horrible work ethics problem. I would drop off packages and she would have an attitude. Her colleagues says they are not sure why she is treating me this way. She would say I shouldn't drop off this many packages while the person behind us dropping off more packages and she doesn't say a thing to that person. Is she racist? She would order me to put sticker on side of box instead of top of boxes so that it's easier for her to scan so i did that. Next time I came back with stickers on side of box, she says I can't bring her these UPS boxes that she will only take a few boxes and asked me to take other ones back. We went to other UPS now and have no problems. I hope management will really look into her horrible behavior and work ethic problems. We've been using UPS for 10+ years and have not encounter someone as rude as she is. read more

Wish I had read the yelp review from a year ago! This location doesn't honor appointments made for notary services. I made an appointment as i have a two month old child, for 1PM, and the notary public doesn't work until 1:30pm. Poor customer service and total disrespect of a customers time. It's the night before a wedding, and the bridal party is rushing to get something done last minute. We visited earlier in the day to try UPS's new printing and cutting service, but the shop was busy. Thankfully, the store owner was happy enough to help us, provided we left him to the files, and later, as we raced from Pomona to make it before the store closed, we called to let him know we were on our way. We made it, but not until the shop closed. However, the store owner went above and beyond to help put together my brother's (the groom) seating arrangement display that could've taken much more time, and now we know that the wedding will go without much of a hitch.
