I had a FedEx return that I wanted to return sooner than later, but there were no FedEx Offices nearby. I looked online and through Yelp and found Express Ship Center, which was down the street from me. I called to ensure they do, in fact, provide drop-off receipts (VERY IMPORTANT) and that they were a FedEx Authorized ShipCenter. Very conveniently located near the Cal Poly Pomona campus, in a strip mall on Temple Ave., in-between Valley Blvd. and Pomona Blvd. Express Ship Center also provide a range of services, as noted on their Yelp page. I drove there during lunch and dropped off my package, and left with a drop-off receipt, of course! I was greeted promptly as I walked into the store. The only thing that I am wary off is, the packages may not feel "secure" when dropped off but I will only use them if I cannot get to a FedEx Office earlier than I need to. Plenty of parking in the plaza and great customer service! The FedEx truck driver picked up my package that afternoon and it was on its merry way for my return. I needed to ship a package to South Africa. I went to a couple of other shipping places before I went to Express Ship Center (ESC). The other places were not helpful. One said I could ship to South Africa. When I got to ESC Sonny was super helpful. One requirement was to put together an inventory list. Sonny took the time to write down everything that was in the package which took a long time as there were a lot of little items in the package. After I left I realize I wrote some of the information incorrectly so I called Sonny and he was able to grab the package from the DHL driver just as he was leaving and rewrote the label for me. Once the package was actually delivered we called me but I was not able to answer his call so he texted me to let me know the package was delivered. Great customer service! I went to express ship center because the location was convenient. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and value of service provided. The gentleman who helped me, Sonny, was attentive to detail, knowledgeable and provided me with the right options. In addition, as I had explained this was work related, they sent me regular text updates on the status of my packages (not the standard DHL texts, from Sonny himself). I walked into Express Ship Center and the owner quickly checked to see it he had a box on hand to fit a long golf club (which he did) and worked with me to print the necessary shipping documents. He even went out of his way to hold the FedEx truck which was parked at the front of his business to ensure that my package would be placed on it. The prices were astronomical what I can say is that the price was definitely affordable for my budget and the delivery time was excellent especially since my package was being delivered to France, I didn't expect next day cause I know I would have to deal with customs. I went here to drop off 2 DHL packages for international returns. I wasn't familiar with the labels. Sonny helped me with it and asked me to write down my phone number before I left, just in case I had the wrong paperwork. I was hoping that wasn't the case since I'm just visiting the area. The word TERRIBLE and HORRIBLE are an understatement!! If I could give no stars I would! The lady working here needs to check her attitude, and I do not care if she is the owner or not. Wow, just wow!! Let me begin with the fact I called before I went inside to make sure they are open to the public (Since we're in a pandemic), and her sarcastically rude reply was, "Didn't I just answer the phone? What do you want ma'am? I'm with a customer." Mind you, I was parked outside, but I couldn't see inside, so that is why I called. (If they weren't open, I wasn't going to risk and dirty myself during Covid-19 by touching the door.) Anyways... Complaint #1: She was rude on the phone, and lied about being with a customer, no one was in the store but her, and she wasn't on the phone either. So I'm inside now, and I tell her I need to print my labels and there are several packages, and she asked me how many different labels I need, I replied with 4. She proceeded to tell me each print is $0.50 (which is understandably so, even though the labels were already paid for), but she's also going to charge for EACH Label Email I send her at $4.50 each. I was confused, and I asked her again, "so you're going to charge me $4.50 for each email?" and her disgustingly unqualified customer service-self went on a rant about how that's how much she always charges, and I need to leave if I don't want it. I was still confused because I was told the labels were paid for, and I just needed he location I was dropping my packages off at to print out my PAID FOR labels. Which leads me to Complaint #2: This location is a crook of a location. This lady is stealing money from her customers by charging whatever amount she wants for no apparent reason, even if it is already paid for. Complaint #3: The lady working has poor customer service, she went on a rant and kicked me out before I could agree or disagree on paying for the labels. She also said that's her prices, and she's going to increase them soon. Increase the cost of a customer sending an emailed label to them? She also went to point out to me her food on the table and that I had interrupted her. Excuse me?! You had the opportunity to tell me on the phone that you're on a lunch break and that you'll be available at a certain time. Instead, you gave me a sarcastically rude commentary of you answering the phone. Complaint #4: Aside from the fact this place was a hot mess and disgusting especially during a pandemic where we need to be clean, there was a sleeping cot in the middle of the store with bed sheets and all including slippers for God knows what? I want to point out, I called FedEx customer service line, and the lady said that they are not allowed to charge us for forwarding our Label email, and this lady was wrong, and will be contacting corporate for me, so please don't let this lady fool you with her ridiculous and fraudulent charges. One thing I'm thankful for, the location of this place is near a University, which means her possible clientele are college students and they heavily rely on Yelp Reviews, and from what I've read in other Yelp Reviews about her and this location sums up the same experience I just received, so I hope the owner will reconsider this dreadful unequipped of a woman as an employee, and if she's the owner, FedEx needs to do something about her cause this location is a POOR representation of the company. read more

I was told that Fed-Ex was the only shipping option available, and when I declined to mail an 8x10" envelope containing a single sheet of paper for over $20, the man behind the counter offered to send my envelope via the regular USPS mail. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FED EX PACKAGES HERE!!! so i kinda felt weird about leaving my packages on the floor where they told me to leave my packages. i just felt maybe they wanted it contactless due to covid. but i should have insisted on getting a receipt or made them scan the barcode. anyway, my packages got stolen! if anyone knows how to report this issue to FedEx please let me know. they should not be an authorized dealer if they don't even scan your packages at drop off. i should have just taken my packages and left, but they said that people always leave it on the floor over there and the fedEx guys come to get them.. The lady was nice but when I asked if I could ship a couple documents with a check inside to Sacramento, (not rushed) through standard mail she said sure then charged me $32.00.... I was confused as to why it was so much but she told me they're all that expensive. Went home to find out that USPS does the same shipping with tracking number for $7-8. This place scammed me and when I called to ask if I could cancel the order 30 minutes after leaving, she told me we couldn't and that she explained the pricing to me which she hadn't. Moral of the story, it's my fault as a customer that I should have asked more diligently before paying, But this place will scam you and sell you the expensive option! We were assured that the packet would arrive in three days in Europe though DHL's conservative estimate was seven days. And the packet arrived within three days at the destination. I should have read the reviews first ......when my husband firsted walked in it was only the lady and she said it will only be 20 dollars to ship so my husband said yes but then come her fucking husband and saw him and said no its 50 (we wanted to ship a small package and a big card that only required postage) . And they were going to charge him 50 dollars! so my husband said no thank you i will go somewhere else then the guy said okay 38. But during that time the asshole mange aka her husband was taking calls ignoring him and the asshole of a lady didn't say anything to my husband and said she cant do nothing and made him wait for the asshole!
