I've been coming here regularly and usually have a decent experience, but this visit was ridiculous. I walked in with 6-7 packages to scan and get a receipt. The employee (the guy, the lady is always nice) immediately shouted from behind the counter, "I cannot take your packages, I am by myself." I told him I was perfectly willing to wait until he finished helping everyone else. His response? Still no. He told me he had other packages to scan in the back and to "try the West Covina location." Seriously? I wasn't asking to skip the line--I was literally willing to wait my turn. Apparently even that was too much to ask. I ended up driving another 15 minutes and waiting another 20 minutes at a different location while my wife sat in the car with our crying, hungry baby. Being short-staffed is understandable. Flat-out refusing service to a patient customer because you don't want to deal with a few packages is not. Absolutely lazy and unacceptable customer service. read more

I've been here when it's fisted and I've been here when there's no line and the service has been consistent throughout all of the years. Sometimes it's really grudging and the customers can be giga buffoons, but I've had no issues myself. Workers are efficient and I can go in and out ASAP. They have PO boxes here and some outgoing mailboxes outside too. They also have stamps and other postal goods for sale too. I've mailed stuff from here, picked up items from here (though for international ones I've had to go further for some reason), I've returned items through them, all's good. Also just a word of the wise, I've seen and been in car accidents in front of this post office. People are trying to speed through the plaza or stupidly try to park in front of the post office to quickly drop something off and it's a busy shopping plaza, and they get scuffed. Unfortunately, the post office can't release any camera footage if you do get scuffed. read more

This is one of the better USPS around the area. For some reason, most of any US post offices have some workers with bad attitude or unprofessional demeanor, but here at this location, I've not had issues with any of the worker and I've been coming here for years. The only strange interactions I had were when the regulars are on vacation last year and they put couple of subs here, that were not the nicest or the most knowledgeable. But the regular workers here are always nice and professional. read more

Hopefully take care of change of address 3Th times that the big West Covina location again didn't do or failed to do or retaliate against me for reporting hassle experience. My brother accidentally dropped off a DHL package at this USPS location. Shortly after, I went to this post office in person the same day to retrieve it, as their phone number listed on USPS.com is not in service. TWO USPS employees I spoke with acknowledged they had seen the package, recognized it was for DHL, and chose to ship it anyway! Instead of simply setting it aside, returning it to me, or calling my phone number clearly printed on the label, they sent it off fully knowing that it was wrong. Now, the package has been in limbo for nearly two weeks, with no tracking updates or resolution. The items inside were worth nearly $300, and I may never get it back. read more

Was literally forced to accept a paper receipt as the clerk (07 on my receipt) wouldn't allow me to also type in my email. She stated there was one customer behind me (which there was and only one and just walked in and waited at most 30 seconds) and thus had to attend to them. What about me? I was only there a few minutes and it would have taken 10 seconds to type in my email. Lupe and another kind lady who works here are very fast and helpful. There was at least a line of 5 that went through very quickly. They were personable, friendly, professional, and just great at their work. I rarely send out mails, and she made the experience absolutely quick, painless, and for an affordable price. It's really amazing, genuine, and customer service that is pretty rare. I hope the wonderful employees are praised for their kindness and great quality and speedy work. There is plenty of parking in this plaza with a grocery store and a gym nearby. A few restaurants are here as well. It's very clean and organized inside their store. It's nice and cold to help us beat this heat outside. Lupe totally made my day. I'm very grateful to get her expertise to help me send something to a military base to my sister, brother in law (who is in the military), and nephews. I definitely want to come back here if I ever need to mail something out, I recommend this location to anyone who wants to go in and out of a post office pretty quickly and have the best, kindest, quality customer service! read more

I've been here many times and most of the time there's great service. Today, there wasn't a lot of people so it was pretty quick. I usually use first class mail for small packages, which is $3.50, but now it's $3.82. Turns out that the price just changed this Sunday. The staff is very friendly and efficient! read more

This post office took the burden of all the customers that used the West Covina branch that was at the West Covina Mall. I was one of those customers. I had rented a PO box there, which they moved to this location. And it now is a bit of a burden in itself because if you had a PO box at the old West Covina branch, you have to go during open hours to pick up your mail at the window of the PO box hallway. We used to have the freedom to pick up our mail at any time of the day when I had a physical box to go to. When you're working and their hours don't align with there's, it's hard to get your mail on a regular basis. At least they're able to have that separate window instead of falling in line for mailing services to get your mail. So, kudos for the separate window. The staff has been pretty good here. Keep in mind, the only encounters I have here the most is the PO box pick-up window. They're starting to filter out the mail that doesn't belong to me, which is nice. I don't have to pick through my mail before I leave to trash the junk mail that gets sent to me. What I see as a burden for the West Covina community is the long lines that appear. The line sometimes goes out the door and along the building, getting close to the Tokyo Central entry doors. It's a shame that they have only 3 windows to serve their customers (but what I've seen, there's been 2 windows with employees serving the customers). They get really busy and I feel bad for the postal workers there. They really need to expand, but there's no room to do so. The old West Covina branch had around 4-5 windows and automated services, which was really nice. You didn't have to wait in the long line by using the automated service. read more

Again, not dissapointed coming here! This is my choice of post office since its the closest to home, its next to my kids' extra curricular activity and have Tokyo Central within walking distance. Its always 2 staff that works here (Roger and the lady staff) and both of them always pleasant, greet you with a smile, and trying to solve your problem above and beyond! I came here after the rude staff Yolanda at Walnut Post Office refused to help me without even looking at my package label (she replied I needed to reprint my label since I told her I wasn't sure if the barcode will scanned). And over here, the staff who had a positive attitude and greet everyone with a smile, said I just need to write down the barcode number down and they can enter it manually. I did, and WOALLA! There you go! I got a receipt confirmation on the spot! Thank you so much! You just save my day! definitely will pass on compliment through USPS website! read more

This USPS location is pretty small. Just be a little patient because the newly opened supermarket was just opened and a lot more people have been coming to this plaza which sometimes takes a while to find parking during peak hours. Most of the time when I come here there are two workers working. And most of the time the line reaches the door as well. I mostly just go here to drop off packages that I've already paid labels. If you do have packages that have been paid. You can just cut the line and give the package to the worker and they'll take it and put it in the back. read more

This is not about this post office in which everyone working there are always very helpful. USPS as a company is in serious decline. I have sent 4 registered letters with 3 return receipts in the past 2+ years. I have received 0 return receipts, 2 lost checks, one letter with a check that was delivered more than 3 months after it was mailed, and of the 4, the tracking ended at the targeted post office but a delivered date was never noted on all 4 parcels. Given that I was harassed for not sending a check that I had tracking verification that I had sent it, when 1 out of 4 letters sent (unless you count the letter that took over 3 months to deliver) which would make 2 successful arrivals out of 4, but you would never know it based on the tracking information, is a dismal score. I was recently informed by a postal agent to never request return receipt as the likelihood of receiving that receipt which is attached to the mail, is 0 to none, why are they selling this feature if they have no intent on delivering on what you paid for? Thus, in my opinion use another service ie UPS or Fedex, as I personally attempt to avoid using the post office to send anything, because more often than not, it is either lost, delayed or tracking is apparently worthless. I always drop my packages at the counter since they usually have long lines but they never scan my "Media Mail" packages. I asked the guy at the counter and he claims he doesnt know why but nothing has been don't to address my concern. Since they don't get scanned, it appears to my Ebay customers as if I have not dropped off the packages for a good while because these packages are usually held there, or at another facility for weeks before they decide to scan it. I started going to the West Covina post office and I don't have this issue at all. This tells me that it's the people working there that are not following proper procedure so I will not set foot in here again. I also reported this issue to USPS headquarters. read more

I love that there is a post office hidden in the corner of this shopping area. I love that it's on the way to the freeway (unlike the Walnut branch). I also love that I don't have to drive all the way to the branch by the mall and deal with the horrible traffic. This is a store front and they don't have a drive up drop box. There is a drop box on the curb, but it's a walk up. I hate that people park illegally to run up and drop off their mail, causing an inconvenience for other drivers. This place can get busy, but the staff do their best to keep the line moving and customers happy. read more

Came here at 5 which is closing and that's fine, my bad. Went through the side door and was able to get in and was told it's closed which is fine. HOWEVER, all I did was say "can I just ask a question?" And right away a guy worker told me "Nope sorry maybe tomorrow" and following that the other person working there just laughed. The guy didn't even say it in a nice tone. By far the worst post office I have seen in a long time. Rude employees and she fought with me over processing my wedding invitations. I went to a post office near my parents house to mail my first set (zero problems) the next day came to this location to mail the rest. She wanted me to put two stamps on them. I asked for them to be hand processed. She condescendingly told me there was an added fee. I told her this was fine and to please have them hand processed. She then rudely announced they didn't have time today. I calmly said this was fine...I can return tomorrow to have them done. She started to tell me they couldn't do it tomorrow either! I took my envelopes and left. I went down the street to 24 anytime post office. Zero line, same price as the post office and a friendly man at the counter helped me and gave me his business card. I agree with Chris C. that this is a good post office branch with friendly and efficient workers. I've sent a lot of packages out of this location when I used to live in West Covina. It is smaller and there isn't normally a long line. There's also a 24 Hour Fitness in this shopping mall, so you can work out and mail your packages/letters in one shot. Xie Xie! read more

If you like to waste money, the rent a pob here. This is my experience from about 5 years ago. Some loser vandalized all the locked mailboxes on my street so I had to pick up my mail from the post office during work hours or get a pob. I spent money on the pob. Then 3 times between thanksgiving and Christmas, my eBay packages were marked as delivered but never made it to my pob. I asked usps staff and they were no help, even spoke to the supervisor who said they would find it. Nope! I tried to work it out with eBay but they used the usps lie that it was delivered so they could not help. I tried to work out wit PayPal and they used the usps lie as well. There are people at this West Covina office that either stole my items 3 times during the holidays, or they "lost" my packages 3 times. Not nice. read more

I arrived and one person was being serviced and one person was in front of me. The person being serviced must have already completed their transaction because I never saw money or items exchanged. I only heard Sonia (the person working the counter) talking about real estate and the fact that her daughter is getting married. Sonia really hopes to become a grandma by next year. (Insert eye roll). They were totally having a happy hour discussion as the line of people waiting began to grow. Luckily Roger came out. By this time the guy in front of me was being service by Sonia and I was next. I told Roger I was happy to see him because the other lady was having social hour. Roger said this is a one-man location. (I look side to side and see two cash registers but whatever I dropped it!) This place sucks almost each and every time I visit.
