I come here frequently. Usually it's always good. This time though, it was the complete opposite. I was greeted by a girl (I want to say her name was Rosa. She's was the young Hispanic girl) who had such a bad attitude. She acted as if any slight inconvenience was the worst thing ever. Ultimately I know the job must be difficult and I know we have our bad days, but you shouldn't take out your frustrations on customers. I'm not perfect and I may not have every document you need right away but I was really taken back when you were rolling your eyes and making such a big deal out of everything. I've been using this UPS Store because it's the closest to my house, but I'm honestly done with it. We used the UPS in Brea for over 10 years without a single issue, and the owner there was always fair and professional. Unfortunately, the ownership at this location is the complete opposite. The owner (Rita) --is extremely greedy and seems determined to squeeze every penny out of customers. You can even see it reflected in the reviews. The same complaints show up over and over again: excessive fees and shady add-ons. Even the employees look uncomfortable with the way things are run. You can tell they don't agree with her methods, but they have to follow orders or risk their jobs. Yesterday was the last straw for me. I came in to ship a small item and needed a small box. The woman at the counter, who clearly hates her job, rang me up for $14.01 for shipping, $3.00 for the box, and then an extra $6.95 for "packaging." I asked her what exactly the packaging fee was for. She hesitated, clearly hoping I wouldn't question it. Then she claimed it covered the box and them packing it. So I asked, "How much is just the box?" She said $4.95. Funny enough, $4.95 wasn't even on the screen. I asked again what the $6.95 fee was for, and then she said it was the charge for taping the box. Taping it. For almost seven dollars. At that point, I took my box and walked out. I might not be their biggest customer, but people notice when a business tries to take advantage. Slowly but surely, customers will go elsewhere, and the owner will feel the consequences of running a business this way. My next step is contacting UPS corporate to let them know how this franchise is operating. Who knows how many people have been overcharged like this over the years? To be clear, not all the employees are bad--some of them are actually great. The problem is the owner and the culture she's created. If she's reading this, I genuinely hope she changes her ways before the store's rating drops even further. read more

Not sure if its the same person that everyone is complaining about that was working there. But if it is they need to fire her. I had an Amazon package that I had sent for return with Uber in a box already. She told the driver they couldn't accept it because it needed a "special bag" that she needed to buy which of course wasnt paid for already by Uber OR Amazon (When Amazon specifically states that the only requirement is that it needs to be in a box and you have your QR code to show them) and that she wasn't even allowed to leave it on the premises. So the driver canceled my order and had to bring back my package. I WILL be complaining to corporate. read more

This place charged me over $400 to send a very small package to the Philippines. They didn't deliver it for two months and then they didn't call to let us know the status. They couldn't give us an update when we called to ask for a status and then before they agreed to finally deliver it after two months, you're required another $50 for the actual delivery. of course they didn't actually deliver it, but somebody in the Philippines actually had to go pick it up over two months later read more

Ive been here before but its been a longgg time ago & i told myself never to come back but my fiance had told i should start coming here instead since its so much closer (I like to go to Fedex store in Rowland) Of course i give ups store another shot & sure enough i get in to use the computer to print, but an employee is helping someone who got there before me. So im waiting patiently. Someone comes into the store behind me & gets assistance on the computer before ME. Mind u im standing by the computer waiting my turn, another employee looks at me doesnt say anything or ask me if i need help, sits down & assists the person who came after me. Again i wait patiently to use the computer. Yet, another person comes in & a different employee assists them & asks them if they need help. NO ONE ASKED ME FOR HELP. Yet im there waiting patiently for my turn to use the computer RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER. 3 different employees help out 2 customers who came in AFTER me. The other 2 customers were standing near me in front of the computer & they got assistance i was just a ghost apparently because they were just walking straight passed me not even a single word asking me if i needed assistance lol. Ridiculously Overpriced and Terrible Customer Service. I just had my first (and definitely last) experience at the UPS store in Diamond Bar. I went in to return an item to Amazon and needed to purchase a box and some bubble wrap. I was shocked when the cashier told me the total was $50 just for a small box and some packaging. When I asked what I was being charged for, she mentioned it included labor fees just to put the bubble wrap in the box. I politely declined and asked if I could tape the box myself using their tape. To my disbelief, they refused to let me use any tape unless I purchased my own roll for $12! It was frustrating enough to find out a simple box was another $12 on top of that. When I questioned the owner, Rita, she confirmed this is how they operate. They only offer packing services and don't allow customers to use any supplies unless they buy them at their inflated prices. It's absurd that a packaging store wouldn't let customers tape up their own items after buying a box from them. Absolutely embarrassing service and blatant price gouging. Save yourself the hassle and money--don't ever visit this UPS location in the Walmart shopping center. They've lost my business for good. read more

Just went in for Amazon returns. Amanda was amazing, friendly, beautiful smile, attentive and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to explain the various "rules" on different return items due to Amazon's individual seller rules for return, and even after pleasantly explaining everything, she went the extra mile to provide superior customer service and helped me prepare the package. TLDR: General mailing and parking okay, be cautious of printing and LiveScan with Rita, and definitely double check prices before leaving. Be aware there may be loud construction directly outside. I visited UPS out of necessity for a few quick prints and a Live Scan. Parking was nice since it was in a large plaza, but finding the location was difficult since there was construction directly outside. I thought a few prints and a Live Scan would take no more than 20 minutes, but I was wrong. The whole process took me nearly an hour! I brought a USB drive to print, and I was expecting a copier that could print quickly, similar to those found on college campuses. Instead, I had to pay a one-time $2 fee for 5 minutes of access to an antiquated computer for what really needed 30 seconds. Printing is also charged per sheet of PDF and not per page printed here. The Live Scan was a pretty quick process. The staff member Rita worked with me, and there were regular customers coming in that at one point, I had to do parts of it myself on the computer - definitely felt like a weird experience and unsure if it was the "legal" way of doing it. In addition, when it came to charges, Rita charged me for Live Scan and fingerprinting despite me never requesting or doing ink fingerprinting. ($30 each) There was an additional charge on top for paying with credit card... I wish I had discovered this earlier, because I don't feel quite right returning and mentioning through experience that I never did ink fingerprinting for a refund. A visit to the UPS store is often for easy returns and deliveries, but for printing and Live Scan, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for your needs. This was quite possibly the WORST experience that I've had at a UPS, and I will likely not be returning. The sounds of jackhammers directly outside additionally contributed to more annoyance and frustration. I would rate this a 0 if I could. read more

I have just recently been going to the Diamond Bar UPS store for notary, printing and mailing out of items, Everyone there has been super helpful and friendly ,especially Brian and Austin. Brian is a notary and assisted my husband and I twice on notarizing documents. Brian is super efficient and helpful. Austin was so kind and patient with me trying to figure out how to send to shipping label to the ups e mail so they could print out a label for me. Another employee I did not get her name but she is also a notary helped me recently when I was assisting a person return an item on Amazon. She was gracious, friendly and helpful. They are also open on Saturday and Sunday which is convenient. read more

This place is a hidden gem of UPS stores and really shines due to great management. They have a variety of services and the customer care here is unmatched. They are quick with receiving return packages and providing you with a receipt. They take the time to tell you to make sure you keep your receipts for returned cable products as evidence of return. They even help you track down what is going on with your international shipped package to help it along the way. This place really goes above and beyond the standard UPS experience. read more

never never come this location to take passport photo! It will be always has shadow on the picture. And the service is bad, they won't let you to check or choose photo on the computer before print. The guy who is tall and strong told me they are not allowed to let customer choose or check photo before print. and he also told me they are not print passport photo from digital one which they gave. Once they give the digital photo out ,they can't print from it. I should be told before i pay, but they didn't. And the extremely irrational is they suggested me use the unqualified picture to make an application first ,if it is refused then go back they will give me one more passport photo. Yes, you are not hear wrong, they let me take the risk by my self. The lady I talked with on the phone regarding a service that UPS offers on behalf of another company was completely unaware of what the details are required. Logistics and operations should be this company's expertise, but apparently they had no knowledge of what is entailed in the process and suggested I reach out to that specific company for more details. If this location wasn't so convenient, I'd probably avoid this place altogether just based on that level of customer service. The rating is for one specific worker, a middle-aged lady. She made my mother (who struggles with English) feel like an idiot. The worker was visibly frustrated and using phrases such as "we probably told you this but you don't remember" and "no you don't understand", to name a few. My mother is not argumentative or loud at all and was confused and hurt that she went in to ask questions but left feeling like it was her fault for not knowing the answer. The worker in question definitely needs work on customer service skills, particularly regarding making the customer feel valued, and not like an idiot. read more
