This place. Is not. The. Same. Ever since Pedro, Chris, and the rest of the staff left... it is. Not the same. I know, I don't know why they all left around the same time... but when a major shifts happens, it's a sign that something happened with above/management/ownership. Since it was confirmed today that it's the same owner... I am baffled as to how my go to place, fell flat on its face... hard. Every time I went in, prior, was a wonderful experience. The last 3-4 times I went in, was nothing like before. Not to say it's a specific person or specific issue, it's everything ... even the energy of the place and pace changed. read more

Two stars because the waits aren't too bad and another star for handling typical package shipments. Do NOT take your Amazon returns here, though. They'll find something wrong with the way you packaged your return and then try to charge you for UPS' extremely expensive packing materials. Normally I wouldn't write a review, but most recently they rejected my return despite it being in the exact same box I received from Amazon. They then told me it would be almost $10 for a UPS box to put it in. Shame on you guys. read more

Chose to bring my package here as it is close to my work. Internet and door sign says they open at 8 AM. It is now 8:10 AM and there is no one inside. Back gates are still locked behind the counter and everything is dark. Could have gone to another location e n route to work but now I am left with no options. Very unreliable! read more

I would recommend using this shop for shipping and small printing jobs, etc... They are conveniently located in the downtown of LaGrange.

I have been a client to this location for almost 30 years. I started a few home businesses and used that address to get my mail. After a few years my business was growing and I was getting a high volume of mail and needed a bigger box. Since my business and clients had established that as my address, I did not want to change the # of the box. The owners at the time said they would just put my mail in that box and it would not be an issue. Flash forward to when the new owners took over. I explained my situation and they assured me that it would not be an issue. After 25 years mail has and business had been slowing down, so I only stop in to get mail every once every few months. At one point they put a bill in my mail box and I had not seen it for 2 months, so not only did they not allow me access to the box, they CANCELED my service and then sold that box to someone else. No phone call or anything. After 25 years being a client. So I had to pay some fees and re-establish ANOTHER box number and then asked yet aghain if putting my mail in the new box would be an issue. I was assured it would not. Apparently the rules have changed and they are no longer able to put my mail in the box any more. So I have to go back to every company I ever did business with and change my email address. I also have to submit paperwork, to legally change my business addresss. In the past 2 months I have received ZERO business mail because of this. Loosing thousands and thousands of dollars. I stopped by on Saturday to ask about it and that was I was told. Then I was told that my old box was open So I called today to just rent that box out, only to be told that it really want not available, that I had sid a different box. Not that he misunderstood, but I had told him the wrong one at the time. Horrible customer service. Now I have to cancel everything and re-establish my business at another address and then go back to every one I ever did business with and try to change my address and get my payments. I guess that is how you treat a client of 30 years...... If I could give it a lower star I would. read more

Go to this Store all the time but today after mask mandate was lifted and I still chose to wear my mask indoors, I was confronted by a caucasian employee wanting to argue the science behind mask wearing??? Really??? Since when do I have to justify and listen to this when paying to have my package shipped. I disagreed with him and stepped away after hearing him toss my package into some bin. Keep your comments to yourself...if I want to wear a mask that is not for you to challenge. read more

This is the best UPS store I have ever dealt with. The employees go above and beyond...especially Pedro. We are so grateful that we chose this store to have our mail delivered to. Apparently upline UPS was questioning paying but the employees at this store worked tirelessly to move this claim forward and ultimately get me paid . I trust them with all my mailing needs . I have been a customer of the La Grange UPS store for many years. My son was a Marine during 911, I sent many packages through the La Grange UPS store with no issues. I would drop items off at the UPS store for them to package and mail again I had no issues with the service. The service is excellent, very friendly, and professional. This place is a ripoff!!! They charge almost double of what other ups stores charge. I went to the store In Elk Grove village to pack some gym shoes I sold. They charged me $4.30 for the box and packing. I sold a second pair and this store was closer. I went and for the same weight and same style shoes. They charged me $7.80. read more

Great service at this location. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I love the new 'we'll pack it for you' campaign. But beware, they don't pack for free! I shipped a ceramic tea set that I sold on eBay. The supplies to pack it were $7.99, to have them pack it $18.99 and then 4-day shipment to Washington state $57, grand total including tax $86! 3 star rating for pricing. But if comparatively speaking this is the going rate, I'm happy to increase the rating. So, all in all, other than the sticker shock the service as great. read more

I had a tv ship from here, and my tv was damaged to the point, I was not able to watch it. I filed a claim, I called the store time after time to confirm if my claim was approved and also when will I received my insurance check and also my tv. Well UPS, only sent me a portion of the full balance and kept my 50inch tv. I'm so disappointed with them. read more

On my way to work I saw a UPS Store. So I figured to go ahead and stop in to drop off a package I've been meaning to ship unfortunately I forgot to take the top of the box. I never thought it would be an issue considering I was going to a packing store. The first thing the man said to me at the counter was, next time tape up the box. I did inform him that if I had paid I would have take the box then he proceeded to tell me to just buy tape next time this time he'll do it but next time he won't. On a recent business trip I forgot to pack some important handouts. My neighbor was kind enough to go into my home, found the package and went to the UPS store in LaGrange, IL to ship it to me overnight. It did not arrive..until after I left the conference. So, after $94 spent to ship it, I will not receive a refund. UPS in LaGrange claims it was weather related and therefore, it is not their fault. But wait...I checked and their own website was stating that weather issues could effect the package arrival. My 77 year old neighbor was not informed of the potential issue. Net, net, I contend they took my money knowing full well it would not arrive the next day. I did not receive the package, no refund, I just gave UPS $94 for no service. FedEx next time. If you must use UPS, avoid the LaGrange, IL store. read more

SUPER slooooooowwww! Called numerous times to arrange to have a package shipped, was told the first time they would get back with me that day and they never did. Called again and was put on hold for over 15 minutes. I don't appreciate my time being wasted. I thought that the ides of a ups store was to ship the items but not this location. I will never use this location again. If you have a manager than get your manager or owner to keep business, not chase it away. read more

DROP OFF FOR SHIPPING The customer service at this store was unsatisfactory. First of all the manger of the store is rude and UN professional. The manager is the first person that assisted me the 1st day that I dropped off my package. That first day he asked me to fill out the bottom portion of my shipping label. I was shipping a small crate that was 102 lbs. After doing so I handed the label back to him and HE stuck it in a plastic bag and stuck it on the crate. Then he said your good to go. He did not staple or tape it. I asked him if he could staple it and he replied that we do not have staple guns that can affix this to wood. Two days later the package was returned to my store with at tag that said missing or illegible shipping information. That tells me the manager never verified the written information or affixed it correctly to the package. when I brought the package back to the store he was very rude and UN professional. He also tried to tell me that I affixed the label to the package which I did NOT and he said to me that once the package is picked up from his store that its out of his hands on what happened to the label. I asked him if he could help me not get charged twice for trying to ship the package and he babbled on about it not being his responsibility and then said in a smart attitude, " Have a nice day". read more

I use Amazon nearly every day. I am doing my best to help the economy at this time. Many times, I have to return items (justifiably) and my nearest store is in LaGrange. I have *never* encountered a problem till today. I receive the Return Code for scanning, and leave it on my phone's 'face' if at all possible. It is a quick and painless scan. For some reason, my cell would not connect and reveal the Code. I have a brain injury from a wreck many years ago, therefore I sometimes require a little help with the simplest things. Most people go over and beyond to assist me in that store: Yes, even during these lovely Covid Days. The girl I've never seen before seemed to get visibly annoyed and snippy, telling me that they've never had wifi before (really? Because I've only returned about four hundred items since 2017 and never had a problem before today), and you'd think I had asked her the size of her bowel movement by her reaction. Look, I know everyone is losing their minds with Covid--I am not sure this little girl even had a mask, now that I'm thinking about it (I sure did so honestly, I don't notice anyone else)...however, if (Universal) you hate your job so much that you have to be rude to the people trying help keep YOU getting a paycheck, then move along and let the other phenomenal people who work there get on with it. read more
