The older guy is an absolute jerk. It's all automated and all the signs were not clear. I wasn't the only one confused. I asked if the package belonged on the counter and without any word he just pointed at the large bin as if I was suppose to know where the package went. He was an absolute joy to deal with. Try customer service next time, cranky ass old man. Response to whoever responded to this review: First of all, take another look at your signage and consider making it clearer. If your goal is to be passive-aggressive, you might as well be direct and say, "We don't even want to talk to you. Use the kiosk and if you dare to look confused, we will look at you like you're stupid" Also, judging by how quickly this review was responded to, along with the numerous similar complaints, your business should seriously reconsider its approach to customer feedback. Your responses come across as overly defensive, as if you're more concerned with proving you're right and the customer is wrong. won't be coming here again. they make returning packages from amazon very confusing and difficult and time consuming. they told me I had to buy a specific bag $2 from them in order to return the item. decided to just go to another UPS store and no bag was needed and they kindly did the return for me without having to use the new kiosk. not just once, but this has happened several times when returning a amazon package. I went there on a Saturday at noon. I had an appointment for a Livescan for a job. At the moment I walked in, there was only one person in front of me, but within a few minutes, there was a line out the door of people returning packages, shipping, notary requests. Sean and his assistant handled every customer quickly and efficiently. They were both very pleasant and friendly while they worked quickly. Today I went into the store to get a copy of my resume because I ran out of ink at home. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a friendly face. I emailed my resume to be printed and when I was getting ready to pay the gentleman ,which I believe was the owner, asked if I was going to an interview and I said yes. He smiled and said don't worry about it, it's on the house. I couldn't believe it, I was flustered because I thought I was not going to make it to the interview on time, but all that worry went away with the wonderful gesture. I have always experienced great service at this location with all my postage services, returns, and notary documents. I have used other locations for quick drops and most locations are fine but my experiences at this Foothill store the service has always been top notch. Yesterday, I dropped off an item for return. It is an expensive item I dropped off. I mistakenly took the return label and took it with me thinking it was my drop off confirmation. Sean, the owner, ended up tracking me down and informed me of my mistake. I was able to give him the return label and know that he is taking care of my return with service that is above and beyond my expectations. I came right before closing to send a package to japan for Father's Day! I accidentally brought my letter in a USPS package. The man at the desk was so kind in explaining to me different methods of envelopes and pricing according to express shipping etc. He was very welcoming in helping other customers as well although it was close to closing time. I've had poor experiences before at other post offices but this one was great and I did not feel rushed. Today was the first time I used the Self Service return kiosk. Even though Sean was there to assist, it was simple to use. Although I enjoy talking to Sean, the new machine frees the staff up to assist customers. Heard some people complaining that this machine will take away jobs. Please! If I could leave ZERO stars I would. The owner or manager whoever he is, is rude and does not know how to articulate anything to customers. He has made unnecessary comments about how you shouldn't use Amazon package bags when they are there to use. He also suggested someone coming in after 3 people waiting in line go ahead because he thinks he came earlier which was not true. They need to hire some more people as it seems too overwhelming for this guy to manage more than one customer in the store. Stay away from this place at all costs. His communication is NOT clear and is very off putting. He's given me a weird vibe just for asking for a drop off receipt and talks over everyone while helping someone. Like finish with one customer before jumping to conversation with others in line. Better yet hire some employees! He talks condescendingly and is confrontational with the customer. Very unprofessional. He has some fragile energy to be talking to women the way he does. Would happily drive a further distance instead of going there. This man is very misogynistic and miserable. But each time I come here I promised myself that it's going to be the last time that I do business here. The owner of this location is a very selfish prejudice person that there is no way that he he doesn't insult you with any conversation. I think UPS has to have a better filter to choose who is going to get the franchise. Beside of all the requirements they have to have a personality test and filtration.
