This location has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Always opens late and sometimes they just don't open up at all. Saturday there were 7 of us waiting for almost 1 hour and at least 6 other customers had come by and left in between. When the UPS employee finally opened the door, we were told by the employee that she 'didn't feel like opening the store today but when she checked the store's camera and saw how many people were waiting outside finally decided to open up'. What a pathetic and ignorant excuse for doing business with customers who rely on using their services. THIS IS AN EXCLUSIVE CUSTOMER-BASED BUSINESS-- what else does she think that store opens for...huh?? This has been going on for years, and UPS is well-aware of this but apparently doesn't care at all that this type of behavior continues to go on. These people freaking suck! Yeah that is about all you need to know about this store. They seem to specialize in crappy attitudes and horrible customer service. I used the one in Cambridge and Boston and next time I'm sticking with them. Last year I went in there to ship a package the details are fuzzy but the lady was rude to me, ignored me, than had the nerve to cop a major attitude. . I called about a package that was shipping to my Mom's house. In the past when they haven't been dropped off cause no one was home, I've gone and picked them up in the store other times they been return to the factory. So I called to find out if I could pick up the package, I'm pretty sure this was a different lady as she had an accent and the other one did not. I didn't even manage to ask my question before she interrupted to tell me she had nothing to do with things being shipped from other places, she was loud aggressive and rude from the first moment she picked up the phone. Another thing this isn't your personal cell phone lady, the basics of customer service should mean you pick up the phone identify yourself, store name, then ask how you can help, versus answering with a HELLO! I was confused and I had to ask is the UPS store, because I thought I dialed the wrong number. I finally had enough of this lady rambling on and screaming into my ear, so I said a quick goodbye and hung up. I can't deal with this level of incompetence. Just no, don't go, don't call, find another store that values it's customers and has employees that follow common sense and the very basics of customer service. It is not worth having to interact with this woman. Drive to Somerville or any other store. I was there for an Amazon return. I had the QR code on my cell phone she freaked out on me and told me not to use my phone. I was so confused by how angry she was that I assumed there must've been A misunderstanding. I decided to wait outside in line and try again. It took her 20 minutes to complete a transaction with the previous person in line and when she got to me she threatened to hit me if I entered her store with my cell phone. I really was confused until I saw on Yelp that everyone has had the same experience. She's the only one that works there and it seems everyone has had a negative interaction with her. Worst customer service I've ever experience. I went in to print a one sided black and white paper from my email. I had my phone out with my email pulled up to make the process quicker and the first words that came out of the woman's mouth were yelling at me to put my phone away!! And she's running around the store like a mad woman when I was the only customer there. She was extremely rude and then proceeded to charge me $3.30 for ONE SINGLE SIDED BLACK AND WHITE PAPER PRINT. I've relied on this UPS store for years and have personally never had any of the negative customer service experiences that I've read in some of the reviews. Some of the reviews seem pretty mean-spirited- like using the word voodoo mistress wow. I've always found the owner pleasant and can see how hard working she is as a small business owner. I would agree that sometimes the hours posted online arn't updated in real time, which can be frustrating, and sometimes the waits are long. But, there are plenty of other UPS stores that people can use. I've used Saugus, East Boston and Somerville as needed. read more

This store has an African American- tall woman working there most of the time. This woman is rude, poor customer Service kills. This morning, I walked to the store. After waiting for more than an hour, she came out to ask me what I want. By the time I was opening my mouth to tell her, her caught me off several times with an attitude, Rolling her eyes;she talked over me with an inappropriate tone of voice and not even here what kind of services I was requested. This is very frustrated to have a kind of person like that work in customer service. This is not the first time this happened, and Iam tired of it. I usually don't write reviews, but I am deeply offended. I usually go to pick up my packages at this UPS store. However, I will never do that again. I entered the store after waiting for someone to leave, following Covid guidelines. I had my phone out to look at my package email and the female staff member raised her voice at me, asking why I was looking at my phone. I had just entered and I didn't even begin to speak with her yet. She then asked for my id, looked through papers on a clipboard and said my package was not there. I told her it was and attempted to check my phone to confirm. She screamed at me and told me to call UPS. The way she spoke to me seemed like she didn't even want to help me nor did she like me. I looked at her colleague who was also staring at me, but she did not say anything about the situation. I left frustrated, called UPS, the person who answered said my package was there (which I knew), and I asked my package to shipped somewhere else. I do not ever what to enter that UPS store again; I felt verbally assaulted, and it was such a toxic environment. How could anyone work or go there? read more

The reviews are accurate when it comes to opening hours. Signs all say the store opens at 830. The problem is I have come by a few times and the doors are locked past 930. Very lazy and rude staff. Spend the extra time and go to a better reviewed UPS store. read more

I just went in to mail a package back to amazon. I was told there is a $2 charge. I explained that doesn't make sense since it's amazon they paid for the shipping (as my mailing label says). I also explained that I come here frequently and have never been charged. She said I'm the owner and we charge. So I explained that her employees don't charge. She then got in my face put her hand almost touching my face and skin and said "get the f*** out of my store". Mind you I am 9 months pregnant and had to step back so I wasn't hit. This behavior is so unacceptable and frankly disgusting. I was pretty much assaulted over a $2 charge at 9 months pregnant. What a rip-off. Here's what you need to know... UPS Stores like this one are franchises and charge more than going through UPS directly. How much more? I just learned that I was charged OVER 50% MORE than if I had created the label online versus in-store! To add insult to injury, they didn't deliver my package, didn't tell me I had to set up notifications myself on the tracking number (even though I gave them all of my info in person when I shipped the package) and didn't mention that UPS HQ cannot issue me a refund for failing to deliver the package because I used a UPS Store . Lesson learned, create labels online so they are linked to my account immediately and are way cheaper and just use UPS stores to drop off. P. S. Working for such a terrible company may be explain why the woman behind the counter was such a bee itch. read more

I've only had good experiences here. The last one was when I was going to drop off an Amazon return and the lady there was very nice. I showed up ten minutes before the store closed and actually the doors were closed. I knocked and the lady saw me and came to the door and I told her I was just dropping off so she said she would take it but I told her that I also needed one of those shipping bags from UPS and she said she would take care of everything. So I just gave her the return shipping label and the things and she took care of it all. I was really surprised. DO NOT COME HERE TO PRINT! RIP-OFF ahead! The printer was still able to print but I was told by the staff that it's not working so I assumed it must be something wrong with USB port. I was instructed to use the computer to plug in my USB to print. I scheduled a UPS package to be delivered here because it required a signature and I wasn't able to be home to receive it. The posted store hours for this location for a weekend are 9am-3pm. I went to the store at 10am on Saturday 1/24/2015 and it was dark and the heavy chain gate that protects the back of the store was down and the front door was locked,additionally, there was no sign on the door stating that they were going to be closed. Yes, it had snowed, but the roads and parking lots were completely clear. There was no reason the store should have been closed. I called on Monday 1/26/2015 to make sure the store was going to be open until 6:30pm, as posted on the UPS Store website and the woman I spoke to was very rude. I mentioned that I had attempted to pick up the package Saturday and the store was closed and she said "well, we close at 3pm". I replied that I had gone to the store at 10am and she lied to me and said "that's not true, I was there." She said that they might or might not be open until 6:00pm, depending on the weather. So, I have a package of picture frames coming for a gallery opening that I may or may not get in time for my artist hang on Wednesday night. Once I finally get my package, I will not be using this UPS Store again, for anything. I would rather drive somewhere further away that has the possibility for better customer service. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! I had a confirmed reservation for 11am to pick up a uhaul truck so i could move. After speaking with a woman who worked there to check in, i was told that i "didnt have a truck". ... EXCUSE ME? yes I did, hence the CON FIR MATION email. after politely showing the woman my reservation she shrugged and "well... i dont know" "all of my trucks are gone, and I never received this from uhaul... Okay, well in my mind, UHAUL is a major website, I am pretty damn sure that uhauls online reservation system is legit, especially after getting the confirm email. After about 10-15 mins, she found another location i was extremely unfamiliar with. the woman didnt even apologize to me for her mishap. I noticed on my new confirmation slip i had about 20 mins to get to the truck location to pick it up. after it was all said and done, I returned the truck on time with full gas and was OVER charged for milage, gas that i replaced, and I was charged a late check in fee?! are you f-n joking? I think uhaul is disgusting with customer service & the norwood street location in everett would be better off with monkeys running the store than that incompetent woman. read more

The lady working today took more then 3 minutes to put down her tablet, which she was watching a movie or something, to help out a customer. Nevermind the disgusting mess fo a store it was...also clearly the days drop off packages have not even been moved to the back of the store to be shipped..they were still all over the counter!! Then she asked me for $2 to put a string of tape no more then 6" on the top of my package! I have never been charged for tape use. The owner is rude. Plain and simple. Twice I've had packages shipped to that location, and twice there have been problems with the process. Admittedly the first time was not her fault, she did very little to help me. She refused to acknowledge that having a UPS sign on her building (UPS Store for that matter) means that she represents UPS. The most recent time, today, I received an e-mail stating my package had been delivered to the location as requested. When I arrived, she flat out told me it was not there. When I asked if I could give her the tracking number, she (no joke) said "no". Moments later after I was about to ask her again to look up the tracking number, she suddenly remembered a package without a name (it had come off due to another sticker being placed on top of it and ripped off). No apology, nothing. Just a simple "$5 please". Five dollars to release the package that she was sure was not there in the first place. I had a UPS box here for a couple years, I finally ended it and here are the reasons why; 1st and foremost this place is never open when they are supposed to be, they love putting out signs that say be back in ten or they won't even put a sign up, and just not open on time. The place is an absolute mess, I myself am a clutter-bug as some would say, but even this place makes me cringe! The owner thinks every own is her best friend, which isn't bad until she starts telling you about very personal things about her ex and her new man etc etc look I don't need to hear that. Well today I found out a package had gone to the UPS Store despite my best efforts to stop it, I didn't renew my service which ended on Aug 31st, today being September 4 I assumed one of two things, A: Eve (the Owner) would've told FEDEX I was no longer a customer, or do the normal thing and call or get a hold of an old customer who not only was a good customer for years, but a customer that went out of his way to help out her son giving them both a great price on the service I provide. WELL THATS NOT TO BE EXPECTED! I recieved a phone call today from my gf who informed me Eve not only had my packages, but she said she was keeping them until I renewed for another 6 months. WOAH WHAT? To me this is outright theft, and not only should she be ashamed at the way she runs a business, UPS should immediately strip her of that franchise. She is a want to be thug, attempting to extort small business owners and regular people out of their hard earned money. I'm saddened I have to write this review but I don't think we as a community can allow business owners to act in this way. read more

For shipping packages I find this location to be great. The woman is very friendly and helpful, especially on international shipments. My son has started an ebay business so we have been using this location quite a bit and have been very satisfied. read more
