I especially want to give a shout-out to Gio, who was working there today. I needed to print a shipping label, but had to wait a few minutes for someone else to finish printing! I had no problem with this - you certainly can't expect the printing setup to be available every time you walk in. Even if I had been annoyed though, I think Gio's politeness would have calmed me down. He directed me where to wait and thanked me for my patience. Another customer came in who was frustrated about something and he didn't lose his cool. He also calmed the customer down and they left happy. Keep up the good work, guys!

I made a payment. I received acknowledgement from the USPS of the payment. The money was taken from my account. Tonight I received an email from the USPS I canceled my autopay and use of the P.O. Box effective tomirroe even though I'm paid up for the next three months. The screen for setting up payment took fifteen minutes to load at 230 Mbps. I'll consider myself screwed out of three months payment by the USPS. I'll go looking for a private mail box service tomorrow where they have less rude people and actual customer service.

I just received my last package a week ago...ALMOST THREE MONTHS LATER. I spent over $400 to ship my things across the country in a timely manner. I called at least 3-5 times every week trying to locate my packages because the original tracking numbers were bogus. The staff there didn't know where my packages were for weeks, until finally someone discovered them sitting at another facility. I spoke with Bill, the manager/owner and he never had answers for me. When I called and left messages or emails seeking new tracking numbers, my calls were never returned. Bill became annoyed and rude, at times, when I would call because he was "sick of dealing with this". Trust me dude, I was too. Now that I finally have all my belongings, I have inquired about a full refund as I certainly did not receive the service I paid for in the timely manner it was promised. Once again, I have yet to hear back from Bill. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. UPS is infinite in its ability to make up ridiculous rules and charges. And, it seems from what I have observed, they exploit their front-line counter staff. You cannot buy one of their boxes and package up your item in their store. You must give it to them so they can package it and change you $20. You cannot bring your box already packaged no matter how securely or nicely; they'll find a way to claim they must repackage it and charge you more. It's not really the $$ that bothers me; it is the principle of the thing. Every time I have to use UPS I leave feeling swindled.

I used Task Rabbit a bit, but hated that I was always getting someone different. With BPA, I have an on-going agreement, there's never a minimum and I just send an email when I need something, they invoice me at the end of the month. My job requires me to work unconventional hours and travel a fair bit and I've come to rely on BPA to help me escape the feeling that I'm constantly forgetting something. They helped me plan my sister's baby shower while I was on a business trip and thought of everything, from labeling all the finger foods for guests with dietary restrictions down to gift bags with truffles from Formaggio in the South End. They even cleaned up for me so that I could continue to socialize with my guests! I also had BPA obtain bids for my kitchen/bathroom/basement renovations and they oversaw the process every step of the way. My family was able to go on vacation knowing that we would come home to a brand new kitchen/bathroom/basement and I didn't have to worry about endless contractor phone calls I've asked them to do a million little things for me as well - mailing packages and delivering paperwork, waiting for Comcast to show up so that I don't have to take an entire day off of work, last-minute rescheduling of salon & doctor appointments, helping with thank-you notes after the wedding, housesitting while we took the family on vacation, finding housecleaners for us after our move, actually, they helpled us unpack our whole house.
