This is a professional office space, laid out in a way that an office space should be laid out. It is situated in a large building in the Canton office park, central location and there is easy access to all major routes. The office space has a mix of private offices as well as an open shared desk concept. The space is fully furnished and is tasteful and appealing to meet with clients and an office you will feel good about coming into daily. From the first meeting (when we'd told him that we were looking for properties in the $300-350k range, and he presented us with the option of buying a $800k property and splitting it with friends), to the day of the closing (when he proceeded to lose his temper on the phone --- on three separate calls --- to Joy, the seller and the lawyer representing the mortgage company), he was a king klutz who gave the impression that he'd never sold a house before, despite having 10 years of realtor experience. He was unable to answer basic questions that we, as first-time housebuyers, had. He seemed bamboozled by the process of filling out forms like the Offer and Purchase & Sales Agreement. During the home inspection, he appeared more concerned with downplaying defects to save his commission than actually making sure the house was something we wanted to buy. Talking to him made me wish that telephones came with some way to bitchslap the person at the other end of the line. Having to deal with Tom Bransten was the most stressful part of buying the house. Thankfully, we never have to speak to the man again. You are encouraged to avoid him too.

Work Local requires you to respect people around you and be quiet, like talking on your phone or being on a zoom call in the common areas. they have designated rooms for you to go in so you can talk on the phone or on zoom. The Duxbury place let people leave their doors open and talk on speakerphone and was 2-3x the price, so I never went back. I highly recommend checking out this place.

Actually, sometimes it's too quiet here. This is co-working space, not a library. Meanwhile, the place is huge and divided into areas, each with their own character. You come in, scope it out and decide where you're most comfortable to set up shop. I'm not referring here to the reviewer, but generally, if you can't find a quiet place here, then the voices you're hearing are in your head.

I was actually never a client of these guys but I wanted to relay an anecdote which shows you what…read moresolid people they are. I used to rent an apartment from a landlord who used Red Brick. He was represented by Marc Marsan. Marc came by the unit once to take a look at the unit for something when my lease was nearing renewal. I liked the unit, didn't love it, and was considering moving. I asked Marc if he had any units he'd recommend. Marc recommended that I stay in my current unit, because he thought I was getting a great deal. Think about that for a second, here's a guy, I've never paid before (he was my landlord's agent, I used someone else as my tenant agent), who owes me NOTHING, with an opportunity to make a fee from TWO transactions, both representing me as a tenant's agent AND getting paid to fill the unit I would have vacated representing my landlord, and he TURNED IT DOWN to give me his honest advice. I was frankly blown away by it all. I've since moved out of Beacon Hill, but I wish I had used Marc Marsan to start out with. The guy is just an honest stand up dude, which is IMO pretty rare in the real estate industry. I have forwarded all incoming new Bostonians to Marc ever since and never heard a bad review. Highly recommend.
