Here today! This UPSP Store is close to my hotel and close to Boston Logan Airport, I frequent here to return my Amazon packages. It's in a horrible location but the staff is nice. The location is horrible because it's always congested, you'd better be handling some quick, in-out business because parking is only 15 minutes per signage. Both times I've come, I've seen a wrecker truck hidden in plane site watching and timing. It's also difficult to get out because of the ridiculous traffic uuug, the way I've learned to handle the traffic here in Massachusetts is do unto others as I would have them do unto me AND simply be patient. What I mean by that statement is, when other motorists signal to get over/out etc render kindness to them. Be patient when needing to turn left or get over and others will do the same for you. I'll play a game with it, I'll say out loud "Who wants a blessing by allowing me to get over" sure as my name is Nikiba, someone will in fact hear me in their head and be so kind ask to let me pass, out etc. Here today! On the plus, they shipped my forgotten license at the TSA security check from a recent flight. After filling a billion forms for the agency, they exclusively ship with this UPS, and the store employee called me first thing Monday morning to confirm details. So, from an expediency standpoint, they get an A plus. But boy did they rake me over the coals for the associated costs - $11 shipping fee, $4 box fee, $3 packing materials fee. I asked if they could just pop it in a standard UPS envelope - it's a license after all. She said, "No because the envelopes are getting stuck in the machines right now" whatever that means, and the oversized box had no packing materials in it. It was just my license in a ziploc bag. Plus, I ship using UPS aplenty, especially over the last year, and ground rates within Boston proper for anything under 5lb is like $7, so I don't know where an 8oz box gets an $11 shipping rate. Jacking up prices because you know you're the only player in the game is pretty low. But again, they got the package off in record time. read more

Be careful!!! if you use the UPS at Neptune road East Boston.. ALWAYS.. ALWAYS make sure they give you a receipt. I went on 03/24 and 10/24 and drop off packages but they did not give a receipt. They never got delivered and disappeared. I tried to talk to the manager but he is never there and he did not contact me back even I left my info for him to do so. I finally opened a claim with UPS directly and they did not pay me because I didn't have the receipt. if you have the same problem contact this number 18007894623 and open a complaint against them. I've been to this particular UPS Store to drop off packages and some Amazon returns. I usually don't have to wait too long unless it's a Saturday morning. They're one of the few UPS stores in the area that are open on Sundays, which is a big plus. The staff are nice and friendly. Edward was awesome. I had about 30 returns that piled up over the month and he was very efficient.

The manager allegedly named Sandra is extremely unprofessional. I called and spoke to an employee for an item left at TSA whom they worked with. I told them what the item was and asked for a quote of price to get the item sent to me. I was advised it would be around $20ish. I proceeded to complete paperwork to process return of item. My husband then called and they charged him over $45. They had tacked on a pick up fee, service fee and packing materials. None of these fees were discussed when I called and spoke to employee prior to making the decision to have item picked up from TSA. When I called to get clarification, Sandra whom claimed to be the manager was unapologetic, unprofessional and began condescendingly calling me hun. Avoid business at this location. read more

On 9/23/21 I walked in with an open package and asked the girl for a box to send my package and she did help me package my $400 gucci scarf that I was sending to MI. That box never made it outside that store. Label was never scanned for 15 days and counting .. they claim that Usps take everything out twice a day and they are not liable so the package is vanished. The tracking number is frozen waiting to be scan for 2 weeks now. The manager said it's very common for packages to take that long which is uncommon for Usps to deliver a package after 2 weeks it wasn't even scanned it wasn't picked up from that ups location, IT WAS STOLEN and never left that store .. it doesn't take 2 weeks for Usps to scan a package.. . If I could give 0 starts I would. Let me start off by saying don't waste your time telling them it's your first time shipping with them because they won't explain step by step. They will rush you out. I went to ship motorcycle parts and asked for each piece to be individually wrapped. When the receiver received the package all the pieces were just thrown into a box not wrapped like I had requested to. I lost 1300 dollars because the guy did not explain to me to put the amount of how much the pieces were worth. The manager does not call back, the manager does not give a damn about your things. When I had called back to ask why my pieces weren't wrapped like I asked them to, the same employee who had checked me out told me "well I tried to but I didn't have time so I didn't" when I told the manager what his employee had said he kept saying how he didn't understand how that could happen. On April 11th 2022 between 10 and 11am, I took my deceased Little Nana's 120 year old rocking chair to the East Boston UPS STORE, NEVER thinking that this family heirloom would arrive to my home in California BROKEN and packaged MICKEY MOUSED!!!!!! I am SICK TO MY STOMACH!! I saw how ridiculous the girl made, yes FABRICATED the shipping box, so I asked my UPS delivery man to stand by while I opened this HIDEOUSLY HUGE box. (they ship appliances I don't understand this handmade cut huge box) This box was at least 2 feet TOO big for this small sized rocking chair. SO... as I opened the box I saw THE ROCKER leg was BROKEN!!!! MY HEART SUNK!! I paid over $600 to ship this but forget that a minute, THIS WAS MY LITTLE NANA'S BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ROCKING CHAIR!!!!!! these people packaged this like a 9 year old might package it!!!!!!! Huge huge box, not NEARLY enough bubble wrap that I also paid an acoustical Additional $60-$80 FOR!!!! THIS CHAIR IS BROKEN!!!!!!! I want MY MONEY BACK AND THE MONEY IT IS GOING TO COST ME FOR THE REPAIR!!!!!! I am TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY HEARTBROKEN.........I saw my little Nana in that chair my whole life, until she died. I made an appointment online for the notary service, when I got to the store the women at the front told me that the notary person wasn't there. I told her I had an appointment and a confirmation number, to which she stated they don't see and email confirmation for me. I then asked if I could make an appointment for a time that the person would be in, and she told me I had to call for an appointment. I was standing in the store, and she told me I had to essentially leave the store and call to schedule an appointment. She also told me to call and see when the notary person would be in, even thou if you make an appointment online it gives you the available times. I since returned for a second time as I really needed my documents notarized and the manger was extremely kind, and knew I had to go in a second time and did not charge me for the notary. read more

I came here almost every week during the pandemic for printing needs and had no issues. Deanna is super helpful. However, in the past couple of weeks my items have been lost, not ready on time, and the staff has been rude and unapologetic. They will blame EVERY issue on the customer. They even gave me print orders which were not mine and belonged to someone else. When I asked them why they gave them to me, they said they were "close to my order". This clearly shows they will give away your belongings to others and do not follow any sort of protocol. Highly disappointed, hopefully the current staff will be replaced with higher quality employees. read more

These workers are extremely rude. Especially the younger girl. Each and everyone I come in, she treats everybody like "how dare you come in" or "what do you want"! She give you a chance to speak and say what you need before she just starts spitting things out. I've been here many times and I dread it. For my amazon return... she was very impatient as I tried to get the return codes from the App. She was tapping her fingers, breathing heavy and staring me down... not to mention... there's hardly and cell reception in this location. I have used them for shipping items to our son who is serving in the military. They did pack and shipped items to Afghanistan for us and never had any issues when they say it will be there on Monday it's there. I've had them make outdoor Happy Birthday banner for my daughters social distancing party drive by the house and it was perfect. Then last but not least they have done business cards for me also. So if you need something shipped, need a quick banner or you finally realized you need those business card go see them. read more

I asked for a UPS box and the young lady behind the counter pointed to some boxes for sale behind me and said "look over there." Not finding what I needed I asked for a UPS box. She told me they "were in the basement." I asked if anyone could get them she said "no" and then said my items "probably wouldn't fit anyway." I again asked for a UPS box and she said "we are about to close." I told the young lady thank you and left. I will never come back to this location. read more

She helped me protect, pack, and ship it out. It was a lot less than what I anticipated I'd ship it for AND is guaranteed to get there by Wednesday. I was hesitant to venture into this UPS store after reading the awful reviews. I needed to print a large document and was considering going all the way downtown to get it done rather than walking the two blocks from my apartment to this UPS store for fear of being ripped off and thrown to the ground by the terrible, terrible owners of this UPS store. I'm glad I faced my fears today. Turns out, the ownership has changed and unfortunately for the new owners, the stigma has remained. I talked with the business owner as he was helping me with my printing job and he was open and honest with how he dealt with the nasty reviews from yesteryears. He is fair, honest, and believes in helping others get their needs met. Its too bad the internet saves everything. Not only was he able to help me with my particular printing job, but he went above and beyond in terms of making sure my document was printed, hole punched, and priced to my satisfaction. I watched him interact with other customers with as much graciousness as he did with me. Please don't read the previous reviews and be scared as I was. Face your fears. Don't take everything on yelp at face value. And remember that people (and businesses) can and do change. read more

Sent a package out over a week ago paid for expedited shipping 1-2 days. Has been over a week the tracker showed the package within 20 min of the delivery area 3 times. Called customer service the automated system doesn't help or get me to a agent. Put in the tracking number with the automated system says can't find the package check online it shows up on the system. I'm not able to talk to a actual person without the automated system getting my data first which it doesn't allow cause the system doesn't work properly. Missed my Christmas gifts and I leave in a few days back to base because my leave days end. I wouldn't recommend using USPS even paying the extra they are still late even when they are so close to the delivery location. Horrible experience so far would rather use any other postal service if you need things on time even without paying extra to get faster shipping. read more

Wow!!! Tried to rip me off big time!! I'm from NY and I don't get charged what this ups was charging me to ship and pack 2 items. The bill was 260.00 LOL I still can't believe it. He packed both items in separate XXL boxes filled them with peanuts. So now the bill is 260.00. Told the guy that couldn't be possible, he said it was and even if I put both items in one box it would still cost the same because it goes by weight. Well lucky me I asked for my money back and only paid for packing one box. 30 bucks or so for the box and peanuts lol. I was surprised the owner of the store messaged me right away after I posted my earlier review. After I emailed her my package details, she quickly looked into it, and acknowledged it was a mistake by the store staff member. She informed me that the staff member was retrained in reading the shipping labels, which gave a some confidence that I can do business with them again. I'm glad she didn't give me the run-around and was sincere in operating a legitimate business. Anyways, during the week, I went back to store and spoke to another staff member (Diana) on duty who refunded me for the accidental storage fee from the prior visit. Just a backstory and tip for any customers using any of the UPS Stores: I made an order with an online retailer and chose the option to ship to 'UPS Access Point'. Shipping charges was already covered by the retailer, so all I needed to do is when the package arrives, I would just go to this location, show the staff my ID, and they will hand me my package. That's it. However, on that day the staff member insisted that I would need to pay a storage fee. If this happens to you, refuse to pay the storage fee and take the initiative to speak to someone else in the store and have them recheck the shipping label. I left something at TSA Delta Logan Airport. They sent me the documents to fill out and send back to them and to this UPS store where is was being shipped from. From start to finish, the process was simple. The woman from the UPS store called me to confirm my information and could't be nicer.
