In 2021 I wasn't prepared but I was able to quickly fill everything out and I had my documents and everything was processed pretty quickly. Now it's like pulling teeth. You have to make sure you arrive early, like 10-14 minutes early. You need to make sure you have everything document wise you need to make sure everyone in your party is present. The guy that did it before was great. Now I don't know what happened with the staff, but they are short and rude to me. The other people when I came in today they acted nice to. By the way Saturdays are walk ins that you can try IF YOU ARE PREPARED. The trump administration has made getting a passport extremely difficult now and there is no clear communication with staff and customers. It is so annoying when you live 2 mins away and have to rush home to get something. They repeated to me 5x "I have another appointment scheduled you might have to come back". I come back have everything filled out and then it's not clear unless it's in SMALL fine print that everyone is supposed to be present so now, after wasting much of my time I can't get back I have to re-schedule yet AGAIN. I swear to god if I show up 1 minute late they hound me that "I'm not prepared". The value of the customer service here has significantly went down since Covid-19. I'm very extremely disappointed at how I've recently been treated when trying to get a passport. There should also be 2 people working only for passports NOT ONE PERSON. that is all. Disappointing.

If a line starts to form a second person comes out and opens another register. There is ample parking, two outdoor mailboxes for when they are closed, and they are accessible during the current road construction. This is part of a complex with a gas station/convenience store, but those businesses charge high metro Boston area prices. The post office is the jewel in the building.

I filled out the form and brought my drivers license to a large, heavy set white woman. I opened a pdf of my insurance on my phone- 2 required documents. She said she needed a paper form, so I left went to my car and retrieved the registration. She, then, said she wouldn't accept my valid US driver's license because the address was different. None of these requirements are on the actual form, but fine. I show her an employee id- no expiration date. She insists I go home and get a passport or my military id!!! After each new "requirement", she walks off to the back and pretends I'm not there anymore. I have had po boxes at several post offices including this location, for years- never had an issue actually opening the box with valid id. I did have issues with them losing mail, not being open as advertised, and never answering their phone. I'm filing a complaint, not that I expect much to come of it, but people like her is why this area has such a wonderful reputation. My only consolation is that she is probably a deeply miserable person, to feel the need treat people this way.

After that incident/complaint, all was well until March 2026 when someone in this post office stole my cosmetic and tampered with my cosmetic packages back to back. When I complained this time, they again led me to think that our mailmen were to blame. It's an awful feeling to wonder or think that your trusted mailmen are to blame. We are very good hardworking honest people. I myself have helped so many others in my life tirelessly with nothing to gain. I have never stolen from anyone or been dishonest causing harm to anyone. We don't deserve to be bullied/threatened, retaliated against, and stolen from. Since daring to complain and accuse them of stealing my cosmetics (sunscreen), my entire family has now been personally targeted where every important financial personal sensitive mail has gone missing for the past one month. We never had this level of scary problem before in our entire lives and we are very long time residents (my 2024 mail theft was 2 Lexisnexis letters, 4 Bath and Body coupons with monetary value, and one cosmetic package tampering but nothing worth stealing). We checked with our neighbors and it is only us that someone who is sorting mail inside this post office is doing to us. I know because important mail still goes missing when 2 different mailman deliver. We have security cameras and know every mailman delivering. To date, we are missing 11 pieces of important personal assets, property and tax bills, water bills, bank statements, etc for a month now since my first complaint of theft since March 31, 2026. Only all the most important mail goes missing immediately after I dared complained a month ago that my sunscreen was stolen. If I had known that vocally complaining about sunscreen theft would result in personal targeted retaliation of a much more disturbing frightening nature that all of our most important time urgent mail goes missing, I would have shut up and let myself be stolen from. Had he not done so, the package would not have been delivered on-time, and it was a time sensitive delivery.
