I have been in full swing beginning of the new year with getting things prepared for tradeshows season at work. And with going to different states with tablecloths, suit jackets, work clothes. I knew we had to find a dry cleaning service In between shows. I found Lapels and they are fast reliable and send text when clothes are ready! We will continue to use them for work and personal needs! read more

Lapels has outstanding customer service. Pickup and drop off is simple and quick. I've been using them regularly for a few years now and I love their VIP service. They're open until 7pm (as of 5/27/2022) and even on Saturdays, and it's such a convenient location. read more

Lan's Lapels Dry Cleaning - Lan's Lapels dry cleaning - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Wilmington, Massachusetts

I don't want to take my cleaning anywhere else! My family has been longtime regulars at Anton's Cleaners, but the past few years our experiences haven't been great, regardless of location. Clothing was coming back dusted with lint, sweaters and skirts had creases and looked like they were never cleaned in the first place. The Cleaner Spot is *immaculate* - everything I've taken here from heavy-duty winter coats to dainty, delicate dresses comes back looking top-notch. Service is dependable and fast, the prices are fair. On a separate note, I'm also smitten with their tailoring services. The on-site tailor is spectacular, and she does the tidiest job I've seen. I've had my clothes tailored at several other locations in Tewksbury and Andover, and the work can't hold a candle to the tailoring I had done here. Even more complicated alterations came back looking flawless. I'd never ever have known it didn't come off the clothing rack like that. I personally haven't experienced any issues with customer service. Maybe I'm going at less busy times of the day? The staff has been friendly and professional each time. I had a skirt that was accidentally sent off to get pressed and unfortunately the colors ran. I received a personal phone call letting me know about the accident and to discuss reimbursement. I've had clothing damaged at Anton's but it was never treated that professionally. By the way, the interior is a real treat. How many dry cleaners have cozy seats and little coffee machines? I've never been in such a welcoming dry cleaners. Usually they're stuffy and gross - you just want to drop off your stuff and leave, so this was a pleasant surprise. read more

I agree with many points in Deb O's review- Carmen the owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. However it seems his staff turnover is high and hence the long lines. I understand that's common problem for any business, but not getting your clothes on time has been extremely frustrating. Their promises of same day or next day pick up has fallen through on multiple occasions. I've also noticed that my clothes have shrunk-and I am not talking about a new items, this was a blazer which I've had for years and always dry cleaned. The shop does have a tailor on site. Another perk is that The Cleaner Spot does offer Loyalty points- $5 off coupon with every $50 that you spend (I think it's $50). read more

We work in a building serviced by Cindy Wurdeman. She's the best; always prompt and pleasant to deal with. Clothing is dropped off within a couple of days after pick-up. I spent decades cleaning and ironing my own shirts - never again! read more

This is not the place it used to be. It is under new ownership and staff has turned over - not as friendly and customer service is much different now. I have had to wait multiple times at the drive thru (they say they did not hear the bell - I don't believe it .. never had that problem all the years it was The Cleaner Spot) on the hunt for a new cleaner - will be checking out yelp reviews! read more

This place ruined at least six pairs of my work pants. I don't know what they did. How they dry cleaned them. But they stretched out all of my pants so that they are now two sizes too big. I tried to discuss it with them and they never fixed it or gave me an explanation that made any sense. I've been dry cleaning my clothes for over 20 years and I've never experienced this before. I ended up switching to a more local drycleaner and I explained to them what happened and they said they totally understood what kind of equipment the other dry cleaner with using and that it was inappropriate for them to use certain types of machines on women's work pants. Since switching dry cleaners I have not had one issue. So I lost about $1000 worth of very expensive work pants. I would not recommend this place. On top of that, they are terrible at returning phone calls. read more

This is by far one of the best dry cleaners in the area! First of all, the level of customer service is beyond 5 star! I use the Cleaner Spot Valet service at my office in Woburn and as a professional with a very busy schedule I could not be happier with the attention to detail and the convenience. Their tailor even comes to my office when I'm too busy to go to them! Service is this company's middle name. read more

Since they've opened, my husband and I have been going to The Cleaner Spot. I agree that Carmen is nice. We've used them numerous times, including preserving my wedding dress. We use them so much, I really don't keep track of all the clothes we drop off and pick up. I've never had an issue with picking items up until recently. They had given us a laundry bag for convenience of dropping off. I noticed the laundry bag was missing, and my husband went to pick up the bag and clothes that must be waiting for pickup. He also dropped off some clothes at this time. He came back, stating that the bag wasn't there. I thoroughly searched our house and couldn't find it. Days later, he went to pick up his clothes that he had dropped off earlier and in addition he also received the laundry bag and a dress I had dropped off approximately 2 months ago. This was aggravating. Then I found that a button had fallen off of the sleeve during cleaning, and they pinned it to the front of the silk dress, putting a hole in it! Why would someone pin a silk dress, never mind the front of it! I would expect a phone call stating the button had fallen off, or at least to be notified during pickup. I'm sad to say that from now on, we'll be going across the street to Anton's. read more

Superior service and love the drive through! It has been an excellent experience since the day they opened their doors!

I came here to get my dress for a wedding altered. I spent well over $100 dollars for the alteration(which i thought was ridiculous). When I had received the dress the alterations were not correct. The dress didn't fit correctly and the fabric was just tucked under instead of cut and re-sewed. This made the dress look very cheap. I was very upset and they were nice and understanding and said they would fix it. I came back the next day and nothing was changed. Not to mention that they cut the tags off of my dress that I left on there on purpose. The tags were thrown away and could not be retrieved. Safe to say I will never be using the cleaning spot again. read more

I wear dress shirts everyday for work and have been getting them dry cleaned for decades now. I've been going to Lapels for about 9 months now and just recently I received my Kenneth Cole Reaction shirt back with multiple rips up the sleeve. When I brought it back to show the damage the woman immediately shook her head and insisted she wouldn't do anything to help resolve the situation. She said, "It's an old shirt" and while it is a few years old, it was by no means "past it's prime" and that type of service is unacceptable. DO NOT DRY CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES HERE! If you do, you do so at your own risk because the owners will not even grant you the dignity of being respectful while they out right refuse to work out a plan to fix the $60 shirt they ruined. She couldn't care less when I said she'd be losing a lifetime customer who would end up spending hundreds of dollars. Hopefully I can save others hundreds of dollars by avoiding this place! read more

Unfortunately the customer service is no longer what it used to be. I took an expensive curtain panel to get a stain out. The stain came out but it came back with several holes in it! I wasn't told about the holes...it was put on a hanger so you couldn't see them and was charged for the cleaning. When I got it home I saw that the curtain was destroyed. Brought it back assuming they would replace it. Instead the manager Cindy was extremely rude and told me that it was from sun damage and that they would not replace or reimburse me for it and suggested that I tailor it to cover the holes!! Never was I told that this could happen if it had been exposed to sun...which is still doubtful because its a lined curtain. Regardless she took absolutely no responsibility. Its too bad. I actually went there because Carmen had such great customer service skills. This wasn't the first time my curtains were ruined (they shrunk last time) but it was a completely different experience in the past so I stayed a customer. I would suggest the owners look for a new management. read more

Completely disappointed with this place. I went in to get my dress hemmed for a wedding, nothing crazy as far as alterations. They tried to charge me $160 for a hem on a chiffon dress with two layers and a press!! The tailor proceeded to tell me "Oh ok, I can take 20% off then". But STILL!! Definitely going elsewhere to get my dress hemmed, dry cleaning services as well. I have been in several weddings with some dresses needing way more alterations and it didn't cost nearly as much. The tailor even took the pins out of my dress before I left!! What a rip off! read more

I give them 5 stars for cleanliness of store, finished work (on my down comforter - only item brought in), and half-way reasonable price. Minus one star because many of the rates are not posted on their website or inside the store. Minus another star because I went to pick up about 1.5 hours after the item's *promised* return time and was told it was "still in the shop". What the heck does that mean? I didn't send it to a shop, did I? The person at the desk seemed confused when I was actually expecting my comforter back, but then confirmed my phone number and promised to call me when it was ready for pick up. The next day I get the call, which is great - I won't have to call them daily to check to make sure they haven't lost my item. Phew. I go in around the same time as the previous day and pick up my item. I wasn't expecting to pay full price for an item that was not ready for me on time. There was no indication in the "terms" on my receipt that noted that late items would still pay full price. So, I was disappointed in wasting time and gas on three visits for one comforter. read more
