I've been going there a long time to return Amazon items at. I had 3 documents I needed to have notarized. I went in to return an Amazon package and asked if they were a notary and was told yes. I stood there while the owner/manager and an employee managed a bunch of packages already in the store. After waiting a few minutes with no service, the phone rang and the employee answered and handed the phone to owner/manager who started helping the person on the other end. I asked the employee why I was not important to service standing right in front of them. She told me he'd get to me when he gets off the phone. I prefer to go to a business that wants to provide customer service for me right in front of them. So I went to Postal Depot (on El Camino Real) who values me as a customer. Very disappointed! This business is only 3 blocks from my house; instead I drive 1.5 miles to get to a business who cares about me. read more

I dropped off some Cox Cable equipment at this UPS store and had an issue with Cox refunding my deposit. I talked to Tony who spent the time to do research and assure me the mistake was not on his end but I persisted. Based on principle I did not want to give extra money to Cox so I told him how much they are charging me. He offered to pay what they said I owed them ($15), I accepted and the issue was resolved. This place is the slowest and most unfriendly UPS store I've ever stepped into. I came in to print 5 pages. They charge $1 per page unless you print 10 and then it's .50 cents a page. The manager kept printing the wrong part of the printouts I needed and basically said it was my problem because the attachments were showing up as pictures for him and printing out super tiny. The manager ended up yelling at me when I showed him the email I had sent him with the attachments. Unfortunate. I've never had such a bad experience at a UPS store before. :( read more

I was at the UPS store on coast highway and Encinitas this morning to return a package to Amazon and the lady there was, to say the least, rude I was having problems lifting the Box up I asked her could she give me a hand and she says you know I got a bad back she says I have a bad back and I said well it can at least help me keep it on the counter, so it's not going to fall off the counter it's a huge box, and she says no I don't want to have to have back surgery, so I told her she is awfully rude, and she said I called her rude because she has an accent and I said to her no it's because she is just rude and then she goes on to start calling me a racist because I don't have an accent and she does so anyway one star for this place that I've gone to loyally for 15 years, and I've never written a review ever she is just rude!!!; read more

I don't know if the girl working today (March 5, 2018) was in a bad mood but she made this errand a bad experience. My boyfriend and I had 2 things to do at the UPS store. She acted annoyed that we came in first off. My boyfriend went first with returning an amazon package and she did that quickly and said it was done and walked away. Left the box on the counter and didn't even ask us if we needed anything or a 'have a nice day'. Once she turned around I told her the other thing I needed. Again she acted annoyed and said I don't understand what you want. A man working there over heard and understood and took over while she rolled her eyes and walked away. Another customer came in and she seemed to struggle to help her as well. Again the man had to help her and she went back to us as he instructed. We paid but she never stamped our envelopes while we were there and our amazon package was still on the counter. I guess I'll know in a few days if she did it correctly. It was simply a big envelope with my address as the return with a small prestamped envelope inside addressed to me. This girl should not be in costumer service. If the man helping us was a manager then he's great but not great at making sure his employee is friendly and helpful. If he's just her coworker, then hats off to him because I'm sorry he has to work with her. And leaving packages where another customer could steal it is not professional. read more

I've been in here twice and had a great experience both times. I don't know what it is about any type of post office, but they all give me anxiety. This place is never really busy, and they have nice employees. The other day, I had to overnight something to New York. It cost like $40, but it got there safe and sound. Friendly helpful staff at this location. They have mailboxes as well which is convenient if you need an address in Encinitas that is not a PO Box. It is tucked in the corner of the shopping center closest to the highway. They will pack and ship your items for you but I have found this to be much pricier than packing myself and shipping with usps. read more

Shipping can be confusing with all the different options and carriers and they make it easy and if they can't help they explain why or give the next best suggestion. Well, if you want to do business between your posted hours, it is important to have the doors unlocked. This store says it is open at 8 a.m. and I stopped by at 9:30 and they were all locked up. I called around noon and asked if they were open because the doors had been locked earlier and the girl said, "Yes, but that they had a technical difficulty earlier." Okay, that is understandable. I return to the store around 2 p.m. and there's a sign on the door, "Will be back in 5 minutes." I waited around for over 20 minutes, saw a minimum of 5 people come to do business but they didn't want to wait around so they left which I eventually had to do too. I happened to drive down Encinitas Blvd. and by happenstance found another store that shipped UPS next to Mr. Peabody's and they were open and delighted to help me out without a wait. I won't ever bother to try going to THE UPS STORE in the Moonlight Plaza again. A waste of time. read more

Your response is completely unsatisfactory. I walked in and told the clerk that I needed to print an email that had two attachments, 35 pages in total. She said $1.00 per page. But regardless you use the same printer for printing as you do for copies. The paper is the same and toner is free for copy systems like yours. So you're willing to charge me $1.00 to copy a page? But only .16 cents to print? But hey, like I said, I won't come back to your store. I will go a few extra minutes down the road to Solana Beach UPS store. read more
