They manage many complaints for things out of their control with patience and excellent professionalism. I'm at this location every week and they are incredible. Most bad reviews are so old. I shipped 5 packages from this store in Coronado on 12/13/25 and only 2 have shown up so far! That is an almost 3 week delay! Two are still sitting in their shop un shipped. One is lost in Ontario with no resolution from this store. Multiple emails with no status. Never pick up the phone in the store. It's horrible! I am escalating to UPS and contacting my credit card. Avoid this store. Witnessed the owner be so disrespectful to a customer over and over until the customer lost his temper and used profanity. The store owner told the customer he would not accept his shipments and he needed to go flag down a UPS driver and see if they will take his shipments. He told them that if they leave their shipments it will just sit on the floor of his establishment because he's not going to touch it. The most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced. Post Annex is a few blocks away. I will now be taking my business there from here on out. The UPS Store - "Be right back" Sign - Shipping Centers Near Me - Coronado, California

I HAD 2 PACKAGES STOLEN BY THE WORKER. I sent a box with a purse that I had sold as a second hand purse and in the original box. I covered the name of the brand with the label and the clerk noticed the brand name by just the yellow box and commented by asking if the contents were of the brand. I quickly replied NO. That box never made it to the recipient. I went in the next day to mail my daughter her CD wallet that she left at home and needed it at college. The clerk commented on how nice it was when I asked to buy a padded bag to put it in. That wallet had an airtag in it and we were tracking it. I called the main UPS store where the airtag said that it was at for a few days, they informed me that the package was damaged and that the contents had been discarded. I complained to UPS about the 2 packages and they put me in contact with the owner, who told me that he does not hire anybody that would do anything like this. I tried to get him to just check his workers bag and wallet for me, but he refused and did nothing. Not even an investigation. I do not ever mail from this location so this was about the 5th time I had used it in the 12 years I have lived here. Two out of five packages gone is not good odds. I feel that the owner should have at least offered to do an internal investigation and not just discarded what I had to say. I see below that another customer is complaining about a stolen Apple watch? The owner told me that he has not EVER had this problem. This is hard to believe. It has been over a month and my case is still not resolved. If I still do not hear anything from the owner or get any resolution, I will put my story on Coronado Happenings and any other venue I can to get the word out. The owner of this store is actually the worst employee. I was waiting in line and the owner was rolling his eyes at a lady who was going a few what appeared ti be Amazon returns and there was some confusion about what code went with what package. He was staring and rolling his eyes. The employee helping her was however nice. I was next in line and the owner told me my box wasn't acceptable. The box a company used to send my something that I was then using to return was not acceptable. I questioned this as this was the box the company used and I had ANOTHER return this same way a week ago ! He wanted to sell me a box. Lol. Pure comedy. One of the workers here stole my Apple Watch. Do not have your package left here. He even went out of his way to tell me I shouldn't have had my package left there and that was the reason it was empty. It was delivered directly from Apple by UPS and handled by nobody else. read more

This review is not about the UPS Store in Coronado, which is great, but for UPS DELIVERY in Coronado, which sucks. They make it impossible to file a complaint against them, so I hope the people in the store (who are great) will forward this. I ordered an expensive clothing item and it was delivered to the wrong address, even though I had my correct address in UPS Choice. Several long and distressing phone calls later, I find out that 1) I will never get my package as it is lost and 2) I am responsible for the charge. This summer, they left a box of meals delivered on my doorstep in 86 degree weather. Nobody rang the doorbell to let me know it was outside, while I was waiting inside. Finally, today I read that UPS keeps its membership in ALEC, one of the most extreme national lobby groups that even AT&T, Verizon, and Pfizer have abandoned. Good riddance UPS. I took my parents gifts to UPS store in Coronado. I packaged the gifts myself and had them shipped. But the person at the register after paying put my shipping label on someone else's packed and my parents received someone else's gifts which were clothes. This is based on my experience on November 8, 2022 at 530pm. The women working was on her phone when I got in line the guy was helping another customer. As I was waiting in line a man abruptly came in and asked basically everyone in the store if they'd seen his ballot. Everyone said no and he was gone as fast as he came in. The customer the other worker was helping kind of pointed me out to the woman as if to say "she's been waiting" and she looked it him like he had a horn on his head. She stood there doing nothing for about 2 min before letting me know she could help me on the other side. She took my Amazon return and then I asked her about the international paperwork that they're supposed to take from customers and put on the side of the box and she shrugged her shoulders SO HARD and said "I don't know I guess just tape it on the side of the box" like her body language was loud and clear "I DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING AND IM NOT LIFTING A FINGER IF I DONT HAVE TO" I proceeded to tell her that at other ups stores they put a plastic cover over the papers and put it in the box and she got defensive and said that's only if we do it in store but okay and pulled one out of the drawer. And then gave me my receipt and stood there.... I waited for her to do her job and she hesitated like she needed to get back to her phone but I said "I just want to make sure these papers get shipped with this package because this is going to Canada" and she totally shrugged me off in the most rude way possible as she slowly did her job like it was the worst possible inconvenience for her to have to do. I didn't get her name but I mentioned here the date and time she was working so hopefully management can figure it out... unless this woman was just having an off day, she should not be working here. I'm pretty sure she's newer because I had never seen her in this location before. read more

I go around 2pm and she still seems annoyed. Calls someone else to take the photo and they do a crappy job. That's what I get for not taking it myself and for trusting our local UPS to get the job done. She gave me the whole 4x6 photo print to cut myself and charged me $14. Never again. I needed some color prints done to serve as tickets for the Homecoming dance at CHS. I called in to see if they could do what I needed and the woman I spoke with was so kind. She said of course, had me email her the artwork to be copied and started right away. It was a bit of a rush job. Not only did the copies look awesome, they cut them and prepped them for me! I've been using the UPS Store for years, but didn't really know the owner/operator Derik until recently. Found myself in a rush jam for notary services. I contacted him via Facebook and he said to come right down. When we got there, he dropped the project he was working on and helped us immediately. This review below from Amy F. is complete nonsense. Derik doesn't ship Fed-Ex. It's a UPS store. You shouldn't need to get much further than that to know it's fake. Yelp needs to get it together and provide businesses with a way to dispute these fake reviews designed to damage businesses if they are to remain reputable. I showed up to the store 5 minutes before closing and it was already locked up. The woman working just looked at me like a deer in headlights and did not do anything to help me. When I got back into my car, I witnessed another customer also be unable to access the store prior to closing. To make matters worse, it's a Saturday and they are closed sundays. People! Gotta say that reading the other reviews is just a sad commentary on our times. We had awesome service at this UPS store! We needed notary services and the place was pretty much empty when we got there. Derik took advantage of the lull and took his lunch. Ezra was super quick and efficient at filling out the forms. Coming from a mortgage background, I knew she was conscientious by creating an additional jurat since she had notarized 2 signatures, not just one. The store quickly filled up with customers and she was unflappable, trying to answer questions as she was performing her task and trying to tend to the ringing phone while we were signing on the dotted line. Not many people can multitask that efficiently and keep a calm demeanor. I looked at the people waiting and hoped they weren't rude to her for having to wait. There is NO WAY she could have gone any faster. These things take time. Anyway, I'll always go back to that store for my business. Thanks Ezra (and Derik)! read more

Ezra always asks after my family, how is my day, what am I up to etc, etc. She is extremely personable, and if possible...... even more efficient. She is constantly juggling a multitude of issues as she keeps the line moving. She is one of the most organized, hard working employees in any business I frequent. A huge asset to UPS. In addition, Richill is quick, level headed who excels under pressure. She knows how to multi task and get customers promptly served and on their way.
