I needed to mail a package and so I took a lunch break to take care of it. My visit was short and sweet. There was only 1 window staff person working the lunch coverage and she was VERY Efficient, and very customer oriented. Her name was Aileen and she is EXCELLENT at her job. Came here to mail things and noticed a price increase on flat rate shipping again. The large boxes are now $21.10, medium are $15.05, small are $8.30. A big jump from the previous large rate of $18. A replacement letter carrier picked up all my monthly bills from my house on June 2. All four checks were lost or sold. The personnel at the post office (who are usually quite helpful) could not even offer me a form to report the lost mail. Not the Post Office's problem, apparently. Despite using first class stamps and return address stickers, all four pieces of mail just disappeared. I had to stop payment on four checks ($20 fee for each), change my checking account number and order new checks. DMV is charging a late fee and so are my credit card companies. Thanks a lot USPS. I never ship things and i mean never, but on this day I had to ship a ton of books. So when I went in I knew nothing at all and the lady up at the front was so kind, sweet and most importantly patient even though there was customers behind me and I know those situations can be stressful. She walked me through the process and I got the books all shipped out. Another man even came out from the back room to help me with the labeling overall great experience. Truly deserving of the 5 stars amazing customer service. I just wish got the names of the two people that helped me. - A little good samaritan side note- A customer saw me struggling with the cheap tape I had and lent me some of his. Got an email that my package was delivered and didn't receive it, so I called customer service and instructed me to file a claim. Instead I went to visit this specific p.o because they're in charge of my zip code. The lady at the front was really nice and tried to help me. Terrible Mail delivery. Our mail carrier mis delivers mail almost everyday. Mail carrier needs to be removed from route.

This specific location is base to the carrier route for my address. Our regular carrier is awesome, but when she isn't working all hell breaks loose. I had a package scheduled for delivery and it was tracked that it was delivered but in fact not. I called the office directly but they were closed. Typically when I would call in the past with similar issues, they are pretty helpful. But this time they were closed, so I decided to visit the office and try to flag down carriers as they wrapped up their day. Spoke to one guy in the lot who was able to identify my address and who the carrier was (not our regular carrier). The carrier wasn't there and another carrier suggested would be pulling up shortly. It was raining pretty bad, but I hung out. Asked another carrier in the lot as more pulled in and she asked for my tracking number which I gave. The supervisor finally came out who confirmed that the package was labeled as delivered but obviously didn't make it to my address (duh). He said the carrier still hadn't arrived and there wasn't anything they could do until the next day. I asked if he could get in touch with the carrier to find out his eta or what happened to my package. He responded demeaningly towards me saying, "Let's go through this again," and proceeded to tell me the same thing as if I didn't understand English. It really pisses me off to be spoken to that way while I spend my profession trying my absolute best to take care of clients with the expectation that I'll be given the same level of service and respect when it comes my turn to be in the other end of things. I'm surprised that this fool is in his position and yet can have more than halfway decent customer service workers actually at this facility. Hopefully it doesn't end up floating downstream. But because of this a-hole results in the poor rating. read more

I have not received some mail for the past 7 years because the Carrier consistently does not deliver my mail to my home. I know, because I (at least once/month) receive other neighbors mail in my mailbox. I at least I have the courtesy to deliver neighbors mail. It becomes a serious problem when a bill is not delivered, and I have to go through numerous hassles to correct the situation to keep my credit score above 800. Last year, we purchased a home on the same street 5 doors down, and the problem exists there also. Because this happens to us, I remain certain it must be happening with our neighbors as well. Recently, some neighbors have corroborated that they too have this problem from USPS Paradise Hills Delivery. I suspect it is not only a problem with USPS Paradise Hills, but is a problem with USPS in general. I wish USPS would address this problem, instead of only offering apologies and doing nothing about it. 7 years ago, USPS suggested we obtain a POB, supposedly more reliable, which we did. However, even the POB has a few instances of misplaced mail in our Box, although generally, we do mostly get our mail in POB, but have to pay $80.+/Year to more reliably get our mail. I have complained to the Manager several times/year to no avail. The problem continues year after year. I even contacted the Postmaster General about 4 X's past 7 years, I received 1 letter of apology, but problem still persists. There is no Authority above USPS to complain to, so this problem remains unsolved. Otherwise, the people who work there are polite and gracious and the service is good despite sometimes, very long lines. Problem #2: This past month, I put in a Vacation Stop for both our home address and our POB. We returned from vacation to find mail in our box for all to see that we did not pick up mail, and POB was stuffed to gills, Vacation Stop not recognized by USPS Staff. THIS IS A NEW PROBLEM! I have not been able to report it to the Manager, because he has not been in when I wait in line to request to speak with him! read more

This office is a joke! I never had a problem with my carrier in the 17 years in my neighborhood until my carrier retired about a year ago the they hired another carrier in April who is in competent. I've had four missed deliveries/non-deliveries in 7 months. Problems from the carrier not putting the parcel locker key in my mailbox to marking a package delivered that I never received. I even received a package 5 months after the website said it was delivered! I've spoken to the manager who said he was going to write up the carrier and put a note in my file to make sure my mail gets delivered properly. Why should a note be put in my file, isn't it the carrier's job to deliver everyone's mail accurately? And I still get mail for a neighbor about once a week. And don't get me started on their horrible hours if you need to pick up something, 10-4 M-F, don't they know some people work? And the staff is rude and unprofessional from the top down. USPS needs to close this location and send everything to Bonita where the staff is nice and respectful. The only reason for 1 star is because I have to. read more

I had a not so smooth experience at another postal office when trying to mail a package that ended up turning into a small mess. I wasn't able to track my package and was worried it had been lost. Melissa and Valerie are awesome!! Every time I come in they always have a smile and upbeat personality with them. It's always nice to have a quick lil chat with either one of them and they're so helpful with useful info to help save me money on postages. The place does get busy and is a smaller compared to most POs but it's the nearest and it gets the job done. They've accommodated additional parking space where their USPS vehicles are parked starting at 11am so that's helpful. read more

I always avoid having to come to this particular USPS office. The staff is not not friendly at all. I came here once to pick something up. I was not welcomed. It was like I was bothering them. Then, I called about a missing package. I ordered this item twice and never received it, even if tracking says it was delivered. I called so many times, but either got a busy tone or no one picked up. Finally, when I did get someone on the phone he was rude to me. I've only been here three times. I can never remember names but the first encounter I had was with the older black woman, the second time it was with the black man, and this last time it was with the heavier set Hispanic man with long hair. I've had very pleasant experiences up until this guy. Every time I got up there with my label they tape the box for me with their priority tape and are very kind. This guy refused to do it explained why (which I understand that wasn't the issue) and kept reiterating how he had been working there for 30 years. With every company there comes policies obviously but the delivery on explaining that to customers for this guy was extremely rude. I hope I don't have to deal with him again. Everyone else is amazing and I enjoy coming and working with them. I'd give them 5 stars if it weren't for him. read more

After receiving mail for about 1.5 yrs, the employee decided it was unsafe to deliver my mail, WITHOUT NOTICE. After several discussions, I was told (by manager), I would have to change my mail box location from the front door to the front yard, by the sidewalk, in order to receive mail. ("The person had become uncomfortable" delivering because of my dog, despite me having a security gate with 2 locks, a door with 2 locks and already delivering for said time.) Unhappy, I did so. (Who unfortunately are kind of rude), i would say that I will rather always mail at this Reo Drive branch where you are treated nicely. For several years we have had missing mail since the retirement of a long time carrier. I am now of the thought that at least one of the carriers is a thief. We now are missing "REBATE" debit cards from different company's rebate programs. The cards are valued from $10 to $25 each. We also had a checking account debit card never show. We do receive other people's mail on occasion. But I attempt to get it to the proper address. Now I find out some of my mail was in a trash bag on a curb. My association has sent a letter advising of a possible fine for this. PROBLEM IS, I shred any page that has my address, email, etc. and DO NOT put that into trash. SO, some carrier is again delivering my mail to an idiot that can not figure how to put their trash bags into a trash container. Have made complaints before. service improved for a few months, then crappy. Guess I will contact Postal Inspector and proceed with a criminal case! read more

I don't know where to begin with these clowns! I'm so ticked off with this post office. My wife ordered some printer ink, and it says it was delivered in our mailbox April 7 at 11am when in fact it was NOT!! This is the second time we were supposed to have a package delivered in our mailbox and last time it ended up being in the post office drivers truck still. We are also continually getting our mail put into the wrong mail boxes between our neighbors mailboxes and wherever else. Now my wife is worried to ever order anything to be delivered to our house again because our damn post man keeps screwing up! To make things worse, my wife called this post office and told them what happened, they said they would find out what's going on and call her back, NEVER HAPPENED, NO CALL BACK! I call the post office today, same garbage, I was told they would talk to this postman and find out where our package is, and took my number and said they would call right back, NEVER HAPPENED!!!! This is freaking ridiculous, I'm on the verge of filing a claim with these clowns and then I'm going to file a complaint on our postman and this post office, for one, continually losing our mail and two the post office not giving two dimes about customer service. Them not calling my wife then not calling me back is a huge slap in the face and I will not tolerate this garbage anymore. I will take action and make my concerns heard even if I have to call the corporate offices.
