This place is awesome. The staff is super friendly, and they offer pretty much every service you could need. Yeah, it gets busy sometimes--but honestly, that's what happens when you're the only spot like this in Bonita. We've had a mailbox here for a while, and we also use them for shipping and notary. Never had any issues. The owner, Ray, is here every day helping out, and he's just as friendly as the rest of the crew. I came here to leave a positive review because they let me in quickly a minute after closing! I was surprised to see some people complaining about the staff. Like... really? Sure, it gets a little hectic during rushes, but let's be real--some customers can be straight-up Karens too. People need to slow down a little these days. Anyway, highly recommend this spot. I've been coming here for over 2 years since moving to Bonita, and have been a loyal customer, however after my recent unprofessional experience, their true colors surfaced, never again. 99% of the time I use them for various services and products, I use either my debit card or credit card as I don't usually carry cash, so this past Friday was the same issue. When I gave the woman my debit card, she stated there's a .50 fee. I asked why as I've never been before. NO explanation was given, and she was quite rude in her behavior! Since I had no cash I had no choice. Over the last 2 years I have never been charged this fee. I'm not a big fan of merchants that do. Anyway I sent a email directed toward the Owner inquiring about this, and as of Tuesday night, no response. I won't be returning ever again! I'll just go down the street and take my business to the Postal Annex by Ralph's. As I stated in my email, it's not about the .50 it was about not providing me an explanation, and the rudeness. I don't know if they changed staff or had a serious "Come to Jebus" conversation about their customer service but each time I have gone there to pick up my packages, they have been quite friendly and eager to help. They do get quite busy at times but that's never an issue because you can get through the line rather quickly. I went in a few minutes before closing to pick up a package and was greeted and helped quickly. They are straight forward about their pricing when you do need to mail anything. You can mail anything from wine to a couch almost anywhere you please and they will help you do so. read more

I came into this particular location instead of my usual official UPS store since it was closer to where I live. I won't be coming back. I got into the store on a Friday afternoon, and both representatives did not acknowledge myself or three other people who arrived after I entered. Both agents continually walked to the back, came back out and not once in the 15 minutes I waited to be seen did either stop and apologize for the wait. When it did come time to see me, the gentleman just stared at me and waited to see what I had to say, rather than ask what brought me in today, etc. The gentleman packaging my item seemed confused, picking the wrong size box -- and took another 10 minutes to package the item. It was painful. He did try to salvage things by chatting a bit, but by that point I was ready to be gone and done with the place. The whole experience cost me $12.00, and while that is a value -- it wasn't worth the wait. I will make the longer drive to the UPS store next time. read more

I needed to get my fingerprint cards done for my background check for my job since I got promoted. I called around and found out that this place had the best deal since I needed 2 cards done and other places charged $25 for each card, while this business only charged $25 plus $3 for each card. So this was a steal compared to the other businesses. It was easy to find since it was in the shopping center right in the corner and of course parking was great. Once walking in the employees were very helpful and made the whole process easy and gave me step by step on the fingerprint process. Once I filled out the cards the employee was very helpful full and did everything professionally. Even stuck by all the sanitation requirements and was very clean with the wipes and hand sanitizer. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PLACE!!! My Wife (speaks mostly Spanish) brought in a $5,000 very heavy small box of expensive cell phones to ship and they either STOLE it or carelessly misplaced it!It is gone!! Unacceptable and now a small claims matter!The owner Ray (as you can see from other reviews) absolutely terrible and does not care about his customers.While I waited in the car just outside the store my wife "personally" handed Ray (the owner) our package to be handed over to FedEx.My wife asked for a receipt.Ray took advantage of her and said not necessary they are a very busy store and they do not give out receipts for drop off packages.Ray said, "do not worry I will take care of it, been doing this for years!"What business accepts packages and does not give out receipts?We trusted this man! What a scam.I wonder how many other customers he has done this too.ANYONE HAVE A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE PLEASE MESSAGE OR CALL US 619-559-2005 and I will advise as to how to potentially recover your losses?We know there are many more victims like us out there.Ray did not even scan in the package!It vanished out of no where.We asked to see the store cameras.Ray said no "not today", "I am busy".I will call you in 24-48hrs for possible viewing to see if you have actually been in my store.What does this fool think we are liars? I have had my own business for over 20 years myself and never had this happen to me.Finally, 2 days Later Rays calls and happily says, When would you like to come in and view the cameras to prove you never here?" We return to Mail & Parcels Plus and view some very shady short clips and notice the camera jumping around and skipping as if Ray intentionally set the cameras to run their own review time and of course just enough to skip the video part of my wife handing Ray our package. What a joke!We then decide to "surprise" Ray the next day to "hopefully" see footage of the 2nd camera before he could mess with it.This time he angrily says you will have to wait a while.Ray comes back 30 minutes later (again played with the camera) finally say come back and watch the 2nd camera. Lo and behold the system is skipping at 2 minute intervals!!! He says, "oh this particular camera does not record except in 2 minute intervals!!"What a liar and what good is a camera if it skips 95% of all footage?!Ray looked as guilty as can be and simply does not want to admit he either stole our very small, yet heavy (20lb) box of expensive cell phones or lost it. Unbelievable. 2 more days pass.We have the police come and do a civil "keep the piece" visit.Good ole Ray says today he is too busy to view the cameras and also admitted to police on camera that lo and behold he does not provide receipts for guess what "FEDEX" drop offs (our intended package delivery service).I point to the sign in his front window (see pictures) FED EX drop off location.If this is not clearly a FedEx drop off location to me then what is it?How can you accept FedEx packages, but not provide receipts or any kind of proof that customers packages have been dropped off at his location?The most shady business we have ever dealt with and I know my wife was taken advantage of probably because she appeared to be an innocent trusting primarily speaking Mexican women.Such a sad experience because we have dealt with this place 4-5 other times and trusted this man and his employees and now we feel robbed.We have also noticed many times that employees often leave customer packages strewn all over the floor in front of the counter with little supervision.Anyone can easily grab an unsupervised or attended package and walk off!People do not trust this place and be very careful with your packages.DEMAND a receipt or take your FEDEX package somewhere else.It is Mail & Parcels Plus obligation and duty to securely and safely protect all customer's valuable package.Mail & Parcels Plus clearly does none of it.Completely negligent.Their entire process is fishy and sketchy.We hope more customers will come forward.Now we wait for our day in court to plead our case. read more

The male employee (I'm sure is the owner) is very rude and short. Very defensive as well when I called him out, all they want is money and don't want to actually help you. When I asked for help he said he didn't know what forms are for each live scan (which is legit, I wouldn't either) I gave him the form I thought I needed but then realized it wasn't correct so when I showed him the new form I needed he immediately new what the form was and was for?? He had a huge file full of them. I asked and told him what I needed the form and he said he didn't know but again immediately showing him the new one, he tells me what it's for, how much it costs and what the other one is for (but yet had no idea at the beginning) . These people are lairs and do not care. Don't come here waste of money and time. Zero help/ customer service and expensive. read more

Sent a box last January. It was a personal item and a gift - gifts for my wife and baby back in the motherland. They declared it as a commercial item. I paid about 316 for sending the box. My wife was shocked when she was being charged an extra 200 dollars by the customs for her items before she could claim it. I've been sending personal items and gifts for 6 years, and this is the worst experience I ever had.... I never had to pay for something that I own! Seriously! Our box was also held by the customs for almost 2 weeks just because of one mistake. I will never go back to this store again. Its gonna be my first and last time. I came here recently on a Saturday morning to drop off a prepaid USPS priority package rather than head to the local postal office out convenience since I was in the area. The lady assisting at the front desk who took my package informed me that it would be shipped out on a Monday. Since I wasn't in a rush to ship out my package, I was fine with it being picked up a bit later than normal. If you're not in a rush to ship out your packages and just want to drop it off at the nearest USPS drop off location out of convenience, this place works fine. Once Monday hit, I received a notification in my email that USPS had scanned the package that I had dropped off at Mail & Parcels Plus and it was off to its destination. I find Mail & Parcels Plus to be convenient for shipping needs most especially if you have prepared your package for shipment prior to coming here. That way, you don't have to wait in line and just head to the front to drop off your package like you would at the post office. read more

Do NOT have your LIVESCAN service here. This place is busy and a thorough Livescan takes time. If it is not done properly it will be rejected by your potential employer. The individual performing the Livescan should be properly trained. My Livescan here was expensive ($71) and in my opinion the employee performing the Livescan either didn't care or wasn't trained. Most of my scans were rejected, therefore rendering them useless. He also performed the scan fast, not even attempting to repeat the rejected scans which were of poor quality. The employee told me that if the scan wasn't accepted, I could return and be charged an ADDITIONAL $20 to have it repeated. Basically I wasted my time and money here. I found another Livescan location via Yelp (read my previous review) and the service was less expensive but the service was 5 Star. Completely different experience. read more

This is the place where you want to use Western Union. The owner is very knowledgeable about sending money overseas, and will help you fill out the somewhat confusing Western Union forms. There have been no hiccups in sending money overseas, and I've been using the service at Mail & Parcels Plus for years. Please note the correct spelling of this store's name. (Ampersand and initial caps). Admittedly, the prices for most of their other products aren't as low as Walmart, but I'd rather pay a bit more here than drive elsewhere and suffer through the whole ordeal at Wally World for an item or two. read more

I was notified by the agency to which I was applying that BOTH my last name and birthdate had been mis-typed by Mail & Parcels Plus. This meant a big delay in my application, and that I had to pay extra to get an immediate rush re-print. Very bad experience I sent a gift internationally in January which I was charged for shipping 35.87 dlls and I went today to see what happened with the package I sent because it never arrived to its destination. They told me that they are not responsible if the package arrives or not to its destination cause its "international" ..... But they gladly charge me $35.87 dlls to send a gift "internationally" and never told me that small detail (that they are not responsible if the package arrives or not) when I decided to send the gift to my family members. Nice cozy little office spot! Great parking and in the company of nice food options. They sell lots of little trinkets. Calendars, bubble wrap, bookmarks, staplers etc. They have 2 large copy machines with Fax support and regular printing capabilities as well. Color is about .45 cents a page. Black and white is .15 cents a page. The downside is that Printing from your flash drive or usb is 1$ a page for the first 2 pages and then .15 cents a page after that. Prices are understandable because a small business needs to be able to support the paper, ink, maintenance on its own. But you are probably better off printing at your local library or Fedex if you are truly looking for a resource. read more

This place is great. I've been there to ship packages to my relatives a few times and recently had some documents that I needed to have notarized. I don't have a printer and was in a rush to send them out. They took care of the printing and notarizing. Also sent them out Fedex. Everything got to the destination on time. Went here the other day to get FBI fingerprints done. Definitely would NOT recommend. I came late about an hour before closing and the guy had this "i don't know or care attitude." I brought in my fingerprint paper and he complained that I brought in the wrong document! I've done this before and told him it works on a regular paper you can print online. He still insisted that I shouldn't do it this way though. Then for fingerprints, he just brought out his inkpad and let me do it myself! He just watched me do it and tried to coach me to do it the right way. Then he complained that I was putting too much ink on the paper! I mean aren't YOU the technician supposed to roll the person's fingers onto the paper and make sure it looks right? I got the feeling that he didn't want to touch my hand since I'm a guy. Seriously dude.. man up and do your job! He charged me $25 to do this where with this kind of service I could have basically bought an inkpad for $3 and do it at home! I'm not going to give this one star though because Im sure they have other employees that give better work and have more brains! My past few experiences were much better. read more

Very very pricey to send packages off. I only come here because it's a very convenient location to drop packages off. I do a lot of online shopping and I drop packages off here that I get free returns on. Today I was in a hurry and I had to return a steering wheel cover that didn't fit. Less than a pound and shipping within the state and it cost me $13.99... Almost two dollars off of what the cover cost me in the first place.... Definitely will just go to USPS next time. I did my Livescan request for California Dept of Justice and the 1st time the copy of the paper has Erasure, I went back the next day because there were missing numbers on the ATI number and the lady that help me took my paper went at the back and wrote the missing number and LIED and tell my face that its not missing any numbers. They could have just corrected it byt instead lied about it and that was such an simole thing. FOR IMPORTANT MATTERS DONT DO YOUR STUFF HERE. I should have check the reviews here!
