I am heartbroken as this is the second package lost by the Bartlett UPS store. They were to file an investigation after a package did not arrive. Calling UPS, I find it was never shipped. I called the store and they agreed to file an investigation. I called UPS today, 11 days later, to discover they never filed an investigation. This would be an obvious admission of guilt. The contents of both packages were things that took months for me to make and small items I "gathered" over a year's time, plus a few smaller bought gifts. What really burns is how little they care. The box itself had the actual person's name and address written on it, so essentially it can't get lost; only stolen. :( read more

I had to get something fragile packed and stopped in. The owner or manager was condescending when he found out it I intended to ship it via USPS on my own. He packaged it and kind of held it hostage trying to convince me to mail it UPS from his store. He is one of those people that know everything and has an answer for everything. I paid for the packaging ($12 for box and bubble wrap, about a 12"x12") which was very expensive for what it was. He was giving another customer so BS as I was leaving. Wont be back unless its some sort of dire emergency. EDITED 10/20/16 I was contacted by Bob K on yelp, turns out he is the franchisee of this DUMP. He accused me of exaggerating and called me a joke. I wonder if the franchiser approves this type of behavior. Look at your reviews, YOU'RE the problem. Your going to run that place into the ground, guaranteed. I would give less than one star if I could. Shipped two packages back in November of 2013 and only one ever made it to it's destination. The missing package had never shown as having left the store but the owner, Ryan, swears that it did. UPS Corporate said I needed to deal directly with the store, which was a nightmare. Ryan is very unprofessional and not helpful at all. He took weeks to get me responses to my questions and never, to this day, has given me any kind of explanation. There was more than 1000 dollars worth of goods in the package but Ryan, after two months only wrote a check for 109...again no explanation. I am pursuing this as a theft of goods and will be looking into legal avenues for additional compensation. At the very least, a sincere apology and explanation from the owner of the store would have helped. But no, nothing from Ryan. Do not ship from this store unless you want to overpay and are ok with not having your package make it to its final destination. read more

The guy behind the counter in the morning, middle eastern in his 30s, apparently has a medical condition and is on "a lot of meds." He was nodding off while standing, resting his head on the counter, trying to scan a package without aiming the scanner at the barcode, couldn't complete a sentence, and chased 2 customers out of the store by yelling at them. I called the police on him thinking maybe this was a medical issue. The officer tried to talk to the employee and the employee couldn't form a complete sentence. The employee kept referring to customers as "employees" during his interaction with the officer. It was comical. 3 customers walked out during the process. I called the store back 3 times that day to try to talk to a manager, yet the same employee answered each call. He identified himself as Jonny (A lie). He was scared of me finding out his name.... and I do know his name because it was displayed on the registers. I went in at the end of the day to ship 4 packages, hoping for a different employee at 6:50pm that who was working at 8:30am.... but it was the same man. He took 36min to ship my 4 packages. 9 minutes per package. He almost fell over while trying to tape one of the packages. I'll never go there again if they don't get rid of this guy. read more

The last review was from 2005, so I'm not sure who the owners were then. Yes, you can ship packages from here, but the prices are extremely high. The UPS prices are almost always more (e.g., $3-4 more) than the post office. I was not told about this at first, so I felt a bit deceived. (I asked for the cheapest price, but only when I said I did not want to ship it via UPS did they offer me a lower price.) Also notice that there is a postal service "surcharge" of an undisclosed amount -- unless you ask how much that is. It's a rip off. At other UPS stores, I have had better experiences. In fact, I have even been advised by honest workers to *not* ship with UPS and go to the post office instead. Each UPS store is different, and it comes down to whether the workers care about the money or the customer. I would suggest the post office. read more

Horrible customer service. UPS works hard on their reputation but they should really pay attention who runs these stores. I came in to drop of a package. I saw a shred box and asked do you charge for shredding (I guess I phrased my question wrong - I was really inquiring on the cost). Instead of the lady giving me a price, she replies "where do you get free shredding"? I bit my tongue and walked out. I used 956 s Bartlett location to ship back my package. The guy took my phone I wanted to ship. He gave me a packing slip and took the iphone in the inside room and acted as if he was packing and was going to ship. It was so strange this guy printed out th3 packing slip so fast did not even asked me my name or anything. Said we will ship it out. I was kind of concern but trusted UPS. After 15 days I was trying to track the package and could not so I called the at the store. He put me on hold saying he is going to open the computer. He never came back on phone. i waited for 15 minutes and hanged up and called from other phone the line came busy ... I tried several time but line came busy ... got no responce did not get a call back. I went to the store and the bald looking guy was so rude did not answer my question at all. Ryan helped my daughter and I. I had to print several documents. He got me in and out within a few minutes. He was extremely helpful and efficient. He also helped at least 8-10 people during that time. It was impressive. He was he only guy there. People sometimes forget how difficult it is for one person to wait on several people. I used to work here form November 2016 to June 2017, I wasn't trained very well, and sometimes I was left alone, which wasn't good at all because I wasn't trained on how to do a lot of things, I can only work the register and send faxes, and make copies, and I couldn't notarized documents, only managers can, I would have to send people to other stores for that. And I didn't like being responsible for the place when I was left alone. And sometimes I felt like I was being taken advantage of. And a manger and/or store owner was never there to begin with. read more

After reading some of the bad reviews from the few insensitive, arrogant people who would only bother to write a review to complain anyway, I felt compelled to give a different perspective. I have frequented this location often for the past three years, usually to drop off Amazon returns. I often interact with the manager and have never had a bad experience. He may or may not have a medical condition but it doesn't impact his desire or ability to do what he can to serve his customers well. Today there were two men working, one of them was sick. And not just runny nose sick, he looked hospital sick, and like he was high on medication, almost drunk. Slow reactions, slouched over, pretending to scan me with scanner. Couldn't even lift my package and had me bring it to the back for him. Send him home next time. read more

I will go out of my way to send my packages from a different company or UPS location from now on. I brought in 2 items to send to my siblings out of state. The lady said she would pack them up for me. They were very busy at the time and she said she could not do it when I was there and she took my items and put them in the back room which had piles of things to be sent out and packed up. She ended up sending my items to the opposite addresses. So my siblings had to go back to a UPS store by them and spend their money to ship them to each other (which I sent them checks to cover this costs). I called the store to tell them what happened and I got the run around from Jonathan. He kept promising me that it was being worked on and then he finally said he got approval to give me my refund but then never did anything about it. When I called back, I talked to the woman there who I believe is one of the owners and she told me that somehow it was my fault and that I should have checked to see which address they were being sent to. I couldn't check it b/c they weren't packaged when I left the store! My gut told me not to leave them but I ignored it. After weeks of calls to the store, I called the customer service solution center (800-789-4623). They emailed the store and the woman store owner LIED to them and said she packed up my items while I was there! The woman helping me was very kind and said the customer service solution center will be sending me a check for the shipping of my packages. I hope they follow through since their recording while you're on hold says, "we back up what we pack up." Never, will I use this location unless they get new owners! UPS, if you read these reviews, you need to do something about this location. And if they have cameras, check them from 12/28/20 @ 1:09 and you'll see that she never packed them in front of me. read more

Ryan, owner was unbelievable. He made typos on the shipping label. He's hesitant to correct them and insisted that it was the system pulling up information (wrong spelling etc) I told him that their system is wrong. He finally reprinted the label 3 times because of more mistakes I caught. He complained too much that i even missed more errors on the shipping label! I ended up calling the customer service as I cannot tolerate his attitude and uncomfortable that he'd mess up more. The worst part was when i called the cust serv my package was not picked up on the day it was supposed to be that caused delay on the delivery date (international). He was very unproffesional and lack of customer service skills. I would not recommend this place. read more

I called the UPS Store on a Saturday for a DHL package and the guy who answered told me to stop in on Monday morning because DHL doesn't pick up on the weekend. Stopped in on Monday morning with the package and the woman behind the counter said that they don't do DHL packages -- EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE ALSO LISTED ON THE DHL WEBSITE! They need to train their employees on what they do and also tell them not to speak rudely to customers. read more

I have been trying since last november to get a refund on a package that i paid overnight rates for, however, it was not delivered till 2 days later. Have gone in the store 3 times and they say the same thing, they have to send it to corporate for approval and when I contact corporate they say I have to deal with the store it was sent from. They have copied my receipt each time and still havent gotten a refund. This is poor costumer service and the only reason i got there is because it is close, guess i should try the post office in the future. read more

Probably wouldn't go back. I went in for something very simple and quick , a fax. The man working kept helping this other lady with making copies. This is fine, I know I'm not the only customer. But when I'm standing there for 8 min just waiting to get the confirmation sheet off the fax, that is just no regard for my time. Not real friendly either. Pass on this one. I frequent this store quit often. After today, I felt compelled to wright a review of the service. Service is not what you are paying for---however price and shipping things out in a timely manner matters. I loved this place when they had a different manager that worked there---he was quick, efficient, gave the customer the best options on price etc! Now they have a newer manager that is exceptionally slow. He takes his sweet time even if the line is out the door. Part of the problem is that he tries to help three people at once---finish each person and their task and move on! I was there for thirty minutes shipping out one package because he was helping someone new every time they walked in! Let them wait like i just did! Seriously---go to the post office if you don't mind waiting, FedEx, or another owners UPS store! Too slow, too expensive, and not regard for your time! read more

I go to this store location for all of my mailing needs. The manager (Brian) is always more than helpful and efficient! I was last at the store on Saturday, 7/14/18. I had no trouble at all getting my mail, though I did hear later in the week that the manager had had a seizure on Saturday and received treatment for this medical issue. I was glad to see him back to work as I prefer to keep my business here. The staff is friendly and take pride in their service. I have been to other locations in the past and I think they could learn from Brian and his staff when it comes to customer service. I will continue to recommend this store to family and friends as long as this manager remains here. read more

They may be good at shipping but they are listed under the category 'printing services' as well. Unfortunately, they failed at the simple task of printing from an emailed file. I originally found the store from the UPS Store website. On the site is a 'send the store an email' link. I did so and attached a 5 page pdf file. I requested 8 copies. I then called the store to make sure they received the email and confirmed when the project would be finished. I arrived 10 minutes early and they had done nothing with the file and no one seemed to remember my phone call. The two workers checked the computer for 5 solid minutes before they found my email and then took another 5 minutes to print one copy of the file. For some reason the ink smeared on half of the pages so they had to print them again. They then informed me that they had no way of printing any more sheets since the main color copier was not connected to the network and the printer they were using was somehow not working anymore. They offered to make a copy of a copy. They printed without some of the lighter background colors but I was late so I had to live with it. If this was 1984 I imagine I could forgive a printing company for having such difficultly with technology but in 2010? Beyond poor. read more

I spoke with Ryan on 1/29/18 about some printing. I sent the info to him and asked that he give me a call about the project. I needed a logo centered on a page, printed in color on gloss paper. I needed the printing by 2/2/18 for a church food drive. I again called him a few days later and he asked me to send it again and he reassured me that it would be done . I sent it again on 1/31. I called on 2/3 and there was no answer and their mailbox was full so I couldn't leave a message. I went in and waited for about 20 minutes as he was helping a customer while on the phone with his phone carrier about a personal problem. When it was my turn he said that someone else was working on it and that it wasn't finished. No other employee was there. I had to find another source who helped me print the logo. I do not recommend this store. I will come back here. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Where do I start? Extremely over priced and they even tried to charge me for a free shipping return packaged item as well this last visit. They were consistently rude the three time I went there. I will go to other locations from now on even if this place is very near my home.
