The receptionist was warm, other staff members were nice and courteous, and Jeff, who ran the research was phenomenom. I provided Jeff with questions during the interview, and he asked the people. Then he followed my lead with more questions so the answers were clear. There was no mistakes in interpretation, Jeff got my points across, and the testers got to reveal their opinions at multiple opportunities, so there was no doubt. As a client, I get to sit in leather chair. The paid survey group sat in the same type of comfortable leather chair too. Everyone used the same bathroom, which was clean. That shows me fairness. P&K treats their customers and their paid testers the same, no double standards. I truly appreciate Jeff's professionalism, making a long, focus work day fun and fulfilling for me.

UPDATE following the company's response: I was a customer for one year--not six years, as the…read morecompany falsely stated. My business also did not experience "a year of a lot of change." Any changes I made were made independently and were not discussed with this company because communication from them was extremely limited. I find their response deceptive because it creates a narrative that is inconsistent with my actual experience and appears designed to shift attention away from the issues I raised. Their response also demonstrates my original concern: instead of directly addressing the lack of transparency, the promised monthly check-ins that never occurred, or providing specific evidence of what was accomplished for my business, they offered another lengthy, generalized explanation of their service. Saying reports "can" be produced does not explain why meaningful reporting was not proactively provided during my paid service term. I stand by my review. **************************************Very displeased with this company and the optima program. There is a lack of communication, structure and transparency. There is no way to prove that what they are doing is even helping the business. I don't know what I don't know, so even when I ask questions it's not explained in a way that really gives answers. Mostly the same regurgitated sales pitch. There should be something to show that what they are doing is moving the needle. For the cost of the program, there's not enough being shown to the client to let us know what has been done. Sometime during my program, I shared my issues and was reassured that they would do better to meet me where I'm at and, lo and behold, nothing changed. One specific thing I mentioned was monthly checkins. They agreed, and that did not happen. After a while, I just accepted it for what it was and decided to stop complaining and just let the subscription run out. I will not be renewing and I would never recommend them to a small business.
