He was knowledgeable and swift in getting a price quote to me in the same day I called asking for a quote on printing and binding recipe books for me. Other printing companies I had called took DAYS to reply with quotes or passed me through several chains of management to give me a clear answer. Mike knew what he could offer me and in the end, his quote was more than $1 cheaper per book than all the other local businesses I called as well as FedEx/Kinko's. I offered to pick the books up on Monday but Mike insisted he would ship them to me at no cost by the Friday prior to the date I was rushing him for. This was incredibly helpful as the recipe books were intended to support a non-profit foundation campaign at work that will be ending at the end of March. I have never been more impressed by a printing company's personability and efficiency. In the future, I will use ABC Printing not only for all of my printing projects at work but also in my home life. I'm shocked there are no reviews already of this gem!

They have TONS of stuff, lots of t-shirts and sweatshirts, but also hats, glasses, mugs... even pacifiers with the Chicago flag on them (you know I bought one for the toddler). They have some standard Chicago flag stuff but they also put their spin on it with some flags made with animal paws, or maybe my favorite was the one with apples on it. I think that's what lured me in, actually; my best friend is a teacher and I wanted to get one to take to her. The guy that works there told me the story, that the teacher's union was going to strike and this was a design they had come up with and Rep CHI started printing them. I looooooove the way the Chicago flag is used as the basis of so many designs and this is one of my favorites. Prices are super reasonable and you'll find lots of great stuff here. If you have visitors, I'd definitely bring them here first to look for souvenirs. The parking is fairly easy, all street in this area of Jeff/Portage Park. I utilize Staples for many things in my school: copier paper, office supplies, and printing services. I like the Staples print capabilities and their one day turn around time for posters (in particular). Each time I go the Norridge Staples to pick up an order, there is either no employees available or there is general confusion about how to access an order that has been printed. My most recent experience was last week and I was so infuriated by the sheer ignorance of the staff that I felt compelled to write a review. There were three employees (that I could see) - two men and one woman. I asked the woman if she could call someone to the print are - she radioed for someone. Meanwhile the two men and this woman engaged in a conversation, swearing and laughing it up. The two men literally ran to the back of the store and began horsing around with each other. I stood there for over 10 minutes waiting and asked the woman to get her manager or supervisor, to which she replied 'I don't have a manager.' I told her that I was sending en email to the customer email on their website to report how terrible to service is in this store and that I'd be replacing Staples in my school with a new vendor. One of the two men finally appeared and admitted to being a manager, got my order and said he doesn't have anyone to work the print area. Then why would Staples take orders if they don't have anyone to manage the print area? And by the way, the order was already printed and paid for - I just need it to be brought across the counter. Terrible customer service! I'm not sure how this store continue to be open. Take your business elsewhere. You'd be better off waiting for Amazon to deliver what you need than stepping foot in this Staples.
